Revopoint Robot industrial equipment

Select Surface cameras, Vbot arms and Metrohub cells for your production task. We help define the configuration, accessories and software scope for a clear procurement request.

Surface Pro 50 depth camera

Choose this camera for a shorter working distance in a measurement or robot guidance station. For a replacement, send the camera label, connector photographs and mounting drawing so the supplied configuration matches the existing position.

  • Optimal working distance: 500 ± 250 mm
  • Field of view: H49° × V38°
  • Depth map: 1600 × 1200 at 6 fps
  • PoE power according to IEEE 802.3at

Surface Pro 100 depth camera

This version suits a longer working distance and a larger observation area. Specify the object size and lens-to-object distance. Compare the camera options using the geometry of your installation, including the space available around the fixture.

  • Optimal working distance: 900 ± 500 mm
  • Maximum working distance: 1400 mm
  • Field at 900 mm: 789 × 620 mm
  • Depth map: 800 × 600 at 12 fps

Vbot 9 robotic arm

A six-axis arm with integrated control. State the complete tool mass, mounting arrangement, required working points and serial number when requesting an arm or its accessories. This connects the selected configuration to the actual production task.

  • Payload: 5 kg
  • Working radius: 919 mm
  • Repeatability: ±0.03 mm
  • Robot body protection: IP54

Vbot 9C robotic arm

The external control cabinet distinguishes this version from Vbot 9. Include cabinet identification, controller version and connected devices when requesting replacement components. A photograph of the complete installation helps identify the required arm and control configuration.

  • Payload: 5 kg
  • Working radius: 919 mm
  • External control cabinet
  • Six axes; repeatability ±0.03 mm

Vbot 14C robotic arm

Choose this larger arm when the application requires more payload or reach. Provide the tool, centre of gravity, motion path and installation layout. Treat the protection ratings of the arm body and the separate cabinet as specifications for different components.

  • Payload: 12 kg
  • Working radius: 1434 mm
  • Six axes; repeatability ±0.03 mm
  • Robot body: IP67; cabinet: IP54

Metrohub 09TR scanning system

An automated cell combining Trackit SR optical tracking with Vbot 9. Describe the workpiece surface, inspection areas and required report when discussing automated geometry capture. The tracking arrangement is a key distinction when comparing the two Metrohub versions.

  • Trackit SR + Vbot 9
  • Optical tracking without adhesive markers
  • Volumetric accuracy: 0.025 mm + 0.04 mm × L (m)
  • Automated cell workpiece: Ø500 × H500 mm

Metrohub 09YU scanning system

This cell pairs MetroY Ultra with Vbot 9 and global marker tracking. Supply a sample workpiece and its mounting arrangement when selecting a configuration. The production task determines fixture design, surface preparation and the scanning sequence.

  • MetroY Ultra + Vbot 9
  • Global marker tracking
  • Volumetric accuracy: 0.015 mm + 0.04 mm × L (m)
  • Cell table: 90 × 90 × 80 cm

Fixtures and calibration accessories

Request accessories against the configuration of your Metrohub cell: turntable, scanner mounting, calibration items and markers. Photographs of the current kit and a position reference from the manual help identify the exact item and its connection to the system.

  • Identify the cell and scanner model
  • Turntable and mounting arrangement
  • Calibration board or ball plate
  • Markers for the selected tracking method

Vbot control and robot accessories

Identify the Vbot model, control version and connection diagram when requesting a controller-related item or tool accessory. State whether you need one item or a complete kit. For an external cabinet, include identification and wiring photographs with the request.

  • Distinguish integrated and external control
  • Specify 9, 9C or 14C
  • List the tool and its connections
  • Provide the required item identification

TrackBot scanning workflow

The cell software links a robot path to the workpiece. Explain how parts are loaded and how consistent each batch is when requesting a system. This helps select a suitable path preparation method and describe the operator steps in the proposed workflow.

  • Drag teaching
  • CAD-to-path preparation
  • Vision-to-path preparation
  • Define the fixture and working sequence

RevoMeasure and inspection data

Use the scanning result to compare geometry with CAD and prepare an inspection report. List the dimensions, tolerances and source model format in the request. The software configuration should correspond to the required output and the people who will use it.

  • CAD comparison
  • Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Describe the required inspection report
  • Record the edition and licence scope

Start with the production result

Describe the output before choosing a product: coordinates for picking, a digital surface model or an inspection report against a drawing. Surface cameras, Vbot arms and Metrohub cells serve different roles in that process.

Send a workpiece photograph, material, batch information and workstation layout. This provides a practical starting point for comparing the required equipment and accessories.

Select the camera working distance

Compare Surface Pro 50 and Pro 100 using the lens-to-object distance and observation area in your station. Include fixture height, object dimensions and available mounting space. The series specification separates point precision of ±0.05 mm from absolute accuracy of ±0.1 mm.

These are different measurements, obtained under the manufacturer’s laboratory method; describe the intended conditions in the technical request.

Define robot load and reach

Add the tool, adapter and handled part masses, then describe the centre of gravity and required working points. A layout drawing helps discuss reach, base position and nearby mechanisms. Vbot 9 offers a 5 kg payload and 919 mm radius; Vbot 14C offers 12 kg and 1434 mm.

Identify integrated or external control when selecting the arm and its connections.

Compare the Metrohub tracking methods

Metrohub 09TR uses Trackit SR optical tracking, while 09YU uses MetroY Ultra with global markers. Compare the arrangement against the workpiece surface, mounting and batch preparation.

The automated cell workpiece size is Ø500 × H500 mm; the scanner’s separate scanning range describes a different operating arrangement. State the actual part dimensions and surfaces that the automated process needs to capture.

Plan camera data and integration

Specify the operating system, data connection, power arrangement and development environment for a Surface camera. Published support includes Windows and Linux SDKs, GenICam, GigE Vision and Halcon. Depth modes are 1600 × 1200 at 6 fps or 800 × 600 at 12 fps.

Choose the mode according to the required cycle and output, keeping each resolution paired with its frame rate.

Record the complete system configuration

List the arm, scanner, tracking arrangement, table, fixtures, calibration items, cables and software as identifiable parts of the configuration. For maintenance, distinguish a damaged accessory from a complete kit and include a manual reference or photograph of its position.

This makes the quotation easier to check and helps the receiving team connect each supplied item to the correct installation.

Specify the inspection or design workflow

An inspection department may need CAD deviations and geometric tolerances; a design team may need reverse engineering data. Send an example report or source model and identify the intended users.

RevoMeasure addresses measurement processing; the software catalogue also lists Revo Design, QUICKSURFACE Pro and Geomagic. State the functions, edition and working computers in the proposed configuration before agreeing the software scope.

Prepare the procurement and acceptance list

For a replacement item, send the device model, serial number, label and connector photographs, quantity and item description. For a new system, add part drawings, material, dimensions, workstation layout and the required output.

Identify equipment already available at the site and the items included in the new order. Agree configuration, delivery destination, documents and acceptance criteria using one clear specification.

Availability, price, lead time, licences and documents are confirmed in the quotation. Official dealer or service status, an internal parts catalogue and interchangeability are not established here; the model and serial number define the requested configuration.
