TANTRONIC gas analysis and detection equipment
Select gas analysers, warning controllers, sensors and sampling assemblies against the measurement duty and project equipment schedule.
Analys 2016net

- Two separate chambers
- Sampling and presuction in parallel
- Connection review against the drawing
Messgas Pump Block Typ II
A pump assembly for modular Analys 2000/2016net systems. The sampling pump and a second presuction pump perform different duties within the gas circuit.
- For a modular gas warning system

Messgas Pump Block Typ IIF55
A separately identified pump block version for Analys 2000/2016net. Use its full designation and installed-system documentation to define the replacement scope.

- Version identified from full marking
Define the equipment boundary
Start by identifying the item needed for the project: an analyser, an alarm controller, a remote sensor, a valve block or a pump assembly. These units have different duties, so the name of the overall gas detection installation does not define a complete order.
Attach an overview photograph and a readable nameplate image.
For a new installation, include the equipment schedule and show which items already exist. For a replacement, identify the boundary between the retained assembly and the new item.
SpareX uses that information to prepare a defined equipment list, with questions linked to individual items rather than a general request for a gas detector.
Specify the gas and measurement duty
State the target gas or mixture, the requested range and the units used in the project specification. Include a screen photograph or the relevant instrument document for a replacement. Explain whether the requirement concerns concentration measurement, threshold alarms or both.
The presence of NDIR equipment in the TANTRONIC programme does not make one sensing cell suitable for every gas. An oxygen measurement request needs its own channel identification. Where several substances are present, provide the known mixture and process conditions.
This defines the measurement duty before the equipment list is agreed and gives the technical discussion a concrete reference for each proposed instrument.
Map the measuring points
List the measuring points using the same tags as the project drawings. Explain whether gas reaches an analyser through sampling lines or is detected at remote sensors. For an aspirating installation, attach the line diagram, sampling locations and pump block position.
Mark the sections that will remain after the proposed change.
Analys 2016net, Tanguard 2016net and Tangas Flow 2016net have different roles and point counts. An expansion request should show both the current and intended arrangement.
If only one unit is needed, locate it within the full diagram so its duty can be checked against the method used to obtain and evaluate the gas sample.
Prepare the controller information
For a Tanguard request, supply photographs of the front panel, nameplate and connection labels. Include the sensor list with channel tags and the external signal diagram. State the complete WA designation if a wall-mounted unit is required and show the available installation space.
Define whether the enquiry concerns the complete instrument, an enclosure, a board, a connector or a replacement assembly. A photograph of a damaged item can help identify its position without dismantling adjacent equipment.
Record the requested interfaces and assembly contents in the purchasing schedule, so the buyer and technical reviewer assess the same equipment boundary during quotation preparation.
Describe the alarm connections
Provide a schedule showing which events must reach warning lights, audible alarms, ventilation equipment or the plant control system. Use the connection tags found on the existing drawings. If the enquiry is for a standby instrument, state which installed configuration it must support.
The manufacturer describes Tanguard WA 2016net with three thresholds per sensor and six potential-free contacts. Those are product characteristics, not a completed alarm design for a particular plant. The procurement review therefore needs the project connection list.
Alarm settings and protective functions should be handled through the site documentation and commissioning process, with their responsibilities defined separately from the purchase of a component.
Identify the sensor assembly
For Tangas Sensor Ex, include the complete enclosure marking and the sensing element designation where it is visible without dismantling. State the gas, range, existing controller and installation tag. A connector and cable entry photograph helps define the remaining connection questions.
A complete sensor replacement and a request for an individual sensing cell need different order descriptions. Specify the intended item, quantity and parts that will remain in service. If a fault prompted the request, attach the displayed message and describe when it appeared.
Component selection begins with the installed version and documented duty; one symptom alone does not establish which internal part should be purchased.
Separate sampling and presuction duties
Distinguish the pump that carries the measurement sample from the pump used to presuck the next line. Mark both flow paths on the diagram and identify the pump or assembly being requested. Add its nameplate, an overview image and inlet and outlet labels.
Messgas Pump Block Typ II and Typ IIF55 must be identified by their complete designation. A similar enclosure is not evidence of identical contents. For an individual pump, show the parent block and its position.
For a complete block, list the associated items expected within the order, so the mechanical assembly can be reviewed alongside the valve switching and measurement cycle requirements.
Document the valve and line arrangement
For Magnet Ventil Block, include a diagram showing the sampling points, presuction route and measurement sample path. Label each connected line and its direction. If an individual item is required, show both its marking and its location in the parent block.
The manufacturer describes two separate chambers for taking one sample while preparing the next line. Preserve that distinction in the equipment schedule. State whether the request covers a complete block, a solenoid component or a connection item. Record quantities and package contents separately.
The connection details and installation requirements can then be checked against the specific equipment documents rather than a photograph of a similar assembly.
Build the new-project enquiry
For a new gas analysis installation, provide the technical brief, gas list, point schedule and expected equipment scope. Show the rooms, racks, cabinets and intended sensor or sampling line locations. State the project documentation requirements and the language needed for the review.
SpareX can start selection from this material while the final equipment schedule is still being developed. Keep questions for the analyser, pumps, valves and controller on separate lines. Identify responsibility for design, installation and commissioning.
This allows the quotation scope to describe the equipment boundary and the documents the plant technical team needs before the purchasing list is finalised.
Agree the order contents
For a repeat purchase, use one line per equipment item. Include the full designation, quantity, expected contents and a reference to the attached document. Keep the plant internal code separate from the manufacturer marking so neither is mistaken for the other.
A previous packing list, equipment specification or packaging label can support identification. List the items required with the instrument and those retained at the installation. State the role of any standby item.
A comparable schedule makes it easier to distinguish a complete block from one of its parts and to resolve the open questions for each line before the quotation is issued.
Send readable identification material
A useful image set includes the installation overview, target unit nameplate, connection labels and the item in its installed position. Photograph markings squarely with even lighting so letters, numbers and version suffixes remain readable.
For drawings, provide the complete titled page as well as the relevant detail.
Link every attachment to an enquiry line. Flag documents that describe a different installation revision. Use the installed equipment information rather than replacing it with parameters copied from a third-party catalogue.
SpareX uses these materials to resolve identification questions and prepare a defined item list; a large number of files is less useful than one clearly readable marking.
Move from enquiry to equipment selection
Start with a product family and add the project purpose, requested quantity and a reply contact. For equipment, describe the intended installation. For parts, identify the assembly being replaced.
The selected card provides context for the enquiry while your description records the actual requirement.
The next step is to clarify item identification, missing inputs and the document list. Complete equipment and individual components should remain separate enquiry lines. Before an order is agreed, review designations, quantities and assembly boundaries.
Include the receiving location and the plant requirements for accompanying material with the reviewed schedule, so the commercial calculation can address the same scope as the technical discussion.
