Crowcon gas detection equipment and parts
Source Crowcon portable monitors, fixed detectors and control panels against the gas, range and project specification. Define sensor modules, service equipment and sampling accessories with the instruments.
Gas-Pro multigas portable detector
Gas-Pro supports personal gas monitoring and work area checks. The configuration determines the gases measured and the sampling arrangement. For a replacement or repair enquiry, send the complete instrument code; for a new detector, specify the required channels and sampling mode.
- Up to five measured gases
- Diffusion or pumped sampling
- Internal pump is an option
- Sampling filters, tubing and accessories
T4 four gas personal monitor
T4 monitors oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide and flammable gas hazards. When ordering for an instrument fleet, list detectors, external filters and gas test accessories as separate items. This makes the purpose and quantity of each requested component clear.
- O₂, CO, H₂S and flammable gas channels
- TWA Resume exposure tracking
- T4-CAL-CAP gas test plate
- T4-EXT-F external filter plate
Gasman and Clip SGD single gas detectors
Gasman and Clip SGD address single gas monitoring with different instrument and service arrangements. Specify the gas, range and intended use. For an existing Gasman, include sensor and power details with the model identification; the family name alone does not define the requested configuration.
- Gasman sensor and power variants
- Separate Gasman CO₂ configuration
- Clip SGD for H₂S, CO or O₂
- Clip SGD has a defined operating life
Xgard fixed gas detectors
The Xgard family includes fixed detectors using different sensing principles. The detector type defines the gas, range and electrical arrangement. For a sensor enquiry, supply the installed detector identification and module photographs.
For complete detector replacement, include the existing connection drawing.
- Electrochemical sensing versions
- Catalytic sensing versions
- Thermal conductivity versions
- Selection against the full type designation
XgardIQ modular fixed transmitter
XgardIQ combines an OLED display with a modular sensor arrangement. Distinguish the transmitter, sensor module and remote sensor requirements in the enquiry. State the required communication and relay functions alongside the measured gas and range so that the proposed configuration can be checked.
- OLED display and modular construction
- Remote sensor arrangements
- Sensor module exchange against documentation
- HART and relays depend on configuration
Xgard Bright addressable detector
Xgard Bright provides fixed monitoring of flammable or toxic gases, or oxygen. Different sensor technologies are available across the range.
A system enquiry should identify the gas, detector configuration and existing communication line, including device addressing and the equipment to which the detector connects.
- OLED display
- MPS, LLO₂ and infrared sensor options
- Addressable four wire connection
- Configuration and communication line review
IR Plus infrared hydrocarbon detector
IR Plus measures flammable hydrocarbon gases by infrared sensing. Specify the target gas, measurement range and output arrangement in the enquiry. Its gas measurement duty differs from hydrogen flame detection with Fgard H₂, so the application should be identified before selecting equipment.
- Methane and propane configurations
- Heated optics
- 4–20 mA, Modbus and HART arrangements
- Hydrogen requires a different sensing principle
Gasmaster gas detection control panel
Gasmaster receives detector signals and controls alarm outputs. It is a system control panel rather than a portable gas monitor. Identify the number of channels, each detector input and the required output functions. For service components, attach photographs of the panel and board identification.
- One or four channel configurations
- 4–20 mA and mV input arrangements
- Relay outputs
- RS-485 Modbus RTU communication
UNOIQ and DUOIQ modular portable detectors
UNOIQ and DUOIQ belong to the IQ portable instrument range. Define the gas combination, servicing arrangement and charging equipment when planning a fleet. List sensor trays and service stations separately from complete detectors, with model identification and quantities for each part of the order.
- UNOIQ is a single gas instrument
- DUOIQ is a dual gas instrument
- UNOIQ has a rechargeable design
- Precalibrated sensor tray arrangement
DETECTIVEIQ temporary area gas monitor
DETECTIVEIQ supports temporary multigas monitoring of a work area. Specify the area monitoring duty separately from workers’ personal detectors.
Describe the intended deployment, gases to be monitored and servicing arrangement so that the requested equipment scope is clear to purchasing and technical teams.
- Portable work area monitor
- Multigas measurement
- Temporary deployment
- A separate generation from Detective+
IQHUB instrument service station
IQHUB supports testing, calibration, configuration and charging within the IQ instrument range. It is a service station rather than an independent gas detector. List the instrument models to be serviced and the operations required, along with the planned instrument fleet and station quantities.
- Gas response testing
- Calibration and configuration
- Assigning instruments to users
- Charging supported instruments
Fgard H₂ hydrogen flame detector
Fgard H₂ detects hydrogen flames and does not replace a detector measuring hydrogen concentration in air. Identify the fire detection duty, installation conditions and output requirements in the specification.
List mounting and detector test accessories separately so that the delivered scope addresses the planned installation.
- Hydrogen flame detection
- Heated optics
- Mounting accessories for the installation
- Detector test equipment listed separately
Start with the monitoring duty
Identify what needs monitoring: a worker’s breathing zone, a temporary work area, a permanent measurement point or a possible flame. A portable detector, fixed detector, system control panel and service station have different functions.
Describe the intended function before choosing a product family.
For gas measurement, list the substances, ranges and units, such as volume concentration, ppm or percentage of the lower explosive limit. Add the sampling method and installation conditions. If the equipment is part of a project, attach the relevant specification and instrument schedule.
Sensor modules and replacement components
For a sensor, provide the detector model, installed module code, gas and range. Photograph the complete label, including suffixes. Specify a sensor, assembled module or complete detector.
A single product family may contain different sensing technologies and electrical arrangements. Add the installed instrument details to the Xgard or Gasman family name. If a removed component has its own label, photograph it separately and show where the component fits in the instrument.
Sampling tubing, filters and adaptors
The official Gas-Pro accessories include the AC0502 water trap and filter kit, AC0504 hand aspirator and AC0500 tubing inserts. These items serve different purposes. Give the code and quantity of each required accessory rather than grouping them into an unspecified sampling kit.
For remote sampling, describe the gas, line length and conditions at the measurement point. Explain whether moisture or contamination may be present, where the instrument is located and how the sample reaches it. An existing sampling diagram is useful alongside photographs of the connections.
Testing, charging and instrument servicing
For T4, the T4-CAL-CAP gas test plate and T4-EXT-F external filter plate are separate accessories. Identify their functions and quantities individually in the order list. Include the exact detector model when requesting charging or testing equipment for an existing fleet.
IQHUB supports response testing, calibration, configuration and charging within the IQ instrument range. List the precise models, instrument quantities and required operations. Distinguish the station requirement from the requirement for complete gas detectors and spare sensor trays.
Fixed detectors and the Gasmaster panel
Describe a fixed system by measurement point. For each point, state the gas, range, installation location, detector output and connected panel. List detector quantities, control channels and installation accessories separately so that the equipment schedule reflects the actual system arrangement.
Gasmaster has one or four channel configurations. Input arrangements, relay functions and RS-485 Modbus RTU communication are relevant to system selection. The manufacturer also lists the E07635 communications port and C01929 PC communications kit among its accessories.
Older instrument generations
The manufacturer’s obsolete product list relates TriplePlus+ and TriplePlus+ IR to Gas-Pro and Gas-Pro IR, and Detective+ to DETECTIVEIQ. Original Gasman, Gasman II and Crowcon Clip are listed as unsupported products; current families include Gasman and Clip SGD.
This provides a starting direction for replacement enquiries, while the installed instrument parameters are still required. Send readable identification, measured gases, ranges and photographs of charging equipment or external connections.
Where a manual is available, include the configuration page relevant to the instrument.
For a mixed instrument fleet, list each generation separately. Explain which functions need to be retained and which accessories are already in use. An older model enquiry can then address an identified component or a new instrument against the original operational requirements.
Information for an equipment quotation
State the Crowcon model, complete item designation, quantity and unit. Identify the procurement task: repairing installed equipment, buying a standby detector, extending a system or equipping a new area. For multiple items, use a separate row for each requested device or component.
Attach the instrument nameplate, or the component’s own identification and overall view. For project equipment, add the gas, range, installation type, signals and scope of supply. List the required documents with the technical information so that they form part of the enquiry.
Review the delivered equipment scope
Before ordering, compare every complete designation with the agreed specification. Distinguish complete detectors, sensor modules, chargers, service stations and sampling accessories.
Equipment quantities and spare component quantities should have separate entries, even when they are intended for the same instrument fleet.
For fixed installations, connect each detector line to its project measurement point and control panel. For portable instruments, relate the configuration to the users’ monitoring tasks. Package identification can repeat the item references to preserve the connection with the original request.
Availability, price, lead time and required documents are agreed for the selected configuration. We do not claim official dealership or interchangeability from a model name alone; suitability for the project is checked against documentation.
