DÜCHTING PUMPEN industrial pumps and spare parts

Specify DÜCHTING centrifugal pumps for your industrial process or parts for an installed machine. Send the duty point, liquid properties, pump marking and available documentation.

MC and MCC: SICcast pumps

Horizontal single-stage pumps for abrasive and corrosive liquids. Both families use SICcast wetted components, with different discharge arrangements and hydraulic parts.

  • Back pullout construction
  • MC uses a DÜTEC mechanical seal
  • MCC uses DÜTEC-C and a wear plate
  • Identify parts by serial number and drawing position

MCS and MCV: submerged and intake duties

MCS is a submersible single-stage pump with SICcast hydraulic components. MCV is a vertical pump used for intake duties, including desalination plants. Liquid levels and the installation layout guide selection.

  • MCS has an IP68 submersible motor
  • MCS monitors moisture in the oil chamber
  • MCV uses SiC/SiC shaft bearings
  • Provide depth, liquid levels and installation dimensions

WR and WRX: metallic slurry pumps

WR is a horizontal metallic pump family. WRX addresses severe abrasion and coarse solids. Selection starts with the slurry composition, particle size and the required operating point.

  • WR offers open or closed impellers
  • WR has an adjustable hydraulic clearance
  • WRX has wear plates on both sides of the impeller
  • State solids material, concentration and particle size

WRS and WRV: vertical configurations

WRS is a metallic submersible pump. WRV uses a vertical semi-submerged arrangement for abrasive slurry duties. Tank geometry, liquid levels, drive arrangement and service access define the installation.

  • WRS has an IP68 motor and moisture monitoring
  • WRS allows impeller-to-plate clearance adjustment
  • WRV offers open and closed impellers
  • WRV immersion depth can suit the installation

HPH and HPE: multistage pumps

Ring-section centrifugal pumps for pressure boosting, water supply and process duties. HPH and HPE provide different construction options. State flow, head, suction pressure and liquid properties for assessment.

  • HPH uses a balancing disc or drum
  • HPE offers foot or centreline mounting
  • HPE can have an intermediate discharge
  • Provide stage count and the installed seal arrangement

HPXL, HPXU and HPXM: drainage duties

Multistage families for contaminated liquids, mine drainage and industrial systems. HPXL balances individual impellers; HPXU and HPXM use a balancing device with wear indication.

  • Ring-section construction with closed impellers
  • Intermediate-stage discharges are available
  • HPXU / HPXM provide balancing-device wear indication
  • Describe water levels, flow, head and contaminants

IP: process pumps

Single-stage end-suction pumps for industrial liquid handling. The casing is centreline mounted and the back pullout arrangement provides access to the rotating assembly. A replacement enquiry should cover the complete mounting interface.

  • Cartridge mechanical seal
  • Double-volute casing
  • Different metallic materials are available
  • Attach the seal plan and installation drawing

Parts for an installed pump

We review impellers, casings, wear plates, shafts, sleeves and seal assemblies against the installed pump documentation. Separate individual parts, service sets and rotating assemblies in the enquiry.

  • Full pump designation and serial number
  • Position number on the assembly drawing
  • Part material and execution
  • Quantity and required supply scope

Identify the installed pump and its parts

Start with a clear nameplate photograph showing DÜCHTING PUMPEN, the complete pump designation, serial number and execution. Add an overall photograph with the suction and discharge connections, drive and mounting arrangement.

For a removed component, include its marking and views of the mating surfaces.

Identify each requested item by its position on the assembly drawing and its description in the parts list. Distinguish an individual component, a service set, a rotating assembly and a complete pump. For several installed pumps, keep the serial number beside every corresponding enquiry line.

Earlier specifications and maintenance drawings help establish the installed version.

Define the operating point and the liquid

Provide the required flow and head, suction pressure, temperature, density and chemical composition. State the units explicitly. If the system has several operating modes, attach a table describing continuous duty, start-up, standby operation and changing tank levels.

Include an existing pump curve and relevant instrument readings where available.

For a slurry, describe the solids material, concentration, particle-size distribution and largest particles. Add information about entrained gas and corrosive constituents. These requirements help assess the hydraulic design and wetted materials.

Record the impeller execution, speed and stage count of an existing machine alongside its operating data. A duty point belongs to that particular pump configuration.

Choose SICcast or a metallic configuration

MC and MCC provide SICcast hydraulic components for abrasive and corrosive liquid duties. WR and WRX use metallic construction with different wear-related arrangements. Describe the actual liquid and solids before selecting a family.

If replacing an installed unit, include the current materials specification and photographs of the areas affected by wear.

For a parts enquiry, list the casing, impeller, wear plate and seal as separate items. Include the relevant drawing positions and supply scope. An existing materials list helps preserve the execution across an assembly.

For a new installation, submit the process requirements together with the required flow and head so the equipment and material enquiry can be assessed as a whole.

Plan the vertical or submersible installation

For MCS and WRS, show the tank layout, minimum and maximum liquid levels, mounting depth and discharge line. Include the electrical supply and installed cable arrangement.

For MCV and WRV, add support dimensions, immersed length, shaft arrangement and the space available above the pump for maintenance.

Photographs should show the mounting structure and nearby equipment as well as the pump. For a new project, explain how the pump or its rotating assembly will be lifted and removed.

For replacement parts, identify shafts, sleeves, bearings, impellers and other components separately against the installed drawing. Combine the dimensional information with the liquid properties and duty point when requesting a complete pump.

Specify the multistage arrangement

For HPH, HPE, HPXL, HPXU or HPXM, provide the stage count, speed, flange arrangement and complete designation. Identify intermediate casings, impellers, diffusers and balancing components by their drawing positions. Show any intermediate discharge and explain which process or line it supplies.

The axial balancing arrangement differs between the families. HPH can use a disc or drum, HPXL balances individual impellers, and HPXU or HPXM uses a balancing device with wear indication. For replacement components, supply documentation of the installed arrangement.

For mine drainage, add water levels and line requirements; for process feed, describe the downstream equipment and its required operating pressure.

Define seals and the maintenance scope

For a mechanical seal, give its full designation, face and secondary-seal materials and dimensions from the equipment documentation. Include the auxiliary liquid or seal-system diagram where applicable. For a cartridge assembly, identify which components belong to the required supply set.

For shafts, sleeves or bearing assemblies, attach drawings showing fits, threads, keys and mating components. Describe damage and include relevant measurements. A maintenance set should list each component and quantity, including any specified fasteners or secondary seals.

This gives the quotation a clear boundary between one replacement part and an assembly prepared for installation. Retain drawing positions in the enquiry and attachment names.

Set the boundary of equipment supply

For a new project, submit the technical specification, process purpose and operating-point requirements. Include the liquid properties, operating modes, available space and drive requirements.

State whether the enquiry concerns a pump, a pump with motor or an agreed package of components for the complete unit.

For a replacement machine, attach its passport, installation drawing and pipework layout. Include the shaft centreline, flange positions, base dimensions and coupling details. If maintenance access is restricted, show the removal route and available lifting space.

List the required technical documents, their language and acceptance requirements. These details allow the offer to describe both the equipment configuration and the project interfaces.

Prepare an enquiry that can be compared

Use one enquiry line for each pump or spare-part position. Record the complete designation, source-machine serial number, part number or drawing position, quantity and unit. For a set, attach its contents and give the set a separate line number.

Name photographs and drawings with the matching enquiry line.

Keep different installed executions separate. Where drawings concern an earlier supply, explain which assemblies remain installed and which have changed. Attach the full specification to the enquiry form and add a short description of the task.

Provide a working email address or telephone number for technical clarification. The agreed list will preserve quantities and supply boundaries when comparing equipment, individual parts and complete assemblies.

Availability, price, lead time, compatibility and required documents are agreed for the specific enquiry. This page does not establish official dealership, authorised servicing or identical ratings for every execution.
