- Specify throat access, parts and loading
Hand-held guns, series 31–35
DALEX offers hand-held welding guns in series 31, 32, 33 and 35. Specify the complete gun model for both equipment and parts; a series reference identifies the range, but does not define the supplied assembly.
- Series 31: automobile bodywork
- Series 32: workshops and industry
- Series 33: industrial series production
- Series 35: special applications
Robot welding guns
DALEX robot gun configurations include X and C geometries with pneumatic or servo drives. Integration requires the robot data, approach path and control arrangement.
- X and C gun geometries
- Pneumatic or servo drive
- Compare mounting and control interfaces
- Include the welding cell arrangement
PMS roller-seam welding
The manufacturer lists PMS 14-6, PMS 16-6 and PMS 11-6 for seam welding. Separate a complete machine request from roller electrodes or other replacement assemblies.
- PMS 14-6, PMS 16-6 and PMS 11-6
- Roller electrodes form the working contact
- Specify the seam path and length
- For parts, provide dimensions and mounting
Arms, clamps and current connections
Tubular arms and clamping pieces are included in the DALEX accessory range. Show the complete route from the gun or machine body to the electrode to identify the requested assembly.
- Universal and model-specific tubular arms
- Clamping pieces and extensions
- Photograph the assembly and mounting points
- Include a dimensioned sketch
Water cooling components
For a DALEX water return-cooler, identify the machine, marking and connections. Include the circuit and inlet, outlet and mounting photographs.
- DALEX water return-coolers
- Give the complete component designation
- Show the connection arrangement
- Define the requested assembly scope
Welding drive cylinders
Request a DALEX cylinder by its marking, drive and mounting. Show the component and its position relative to the electrodes.
- Cylinders in the accessory range
- Identify the code and machine model
- Include mounting and connection details
- List complete-assembly components separately
Spring suspenders for welding stations
Request a DALEX spring suspender by tool, assembly mass and station layout. For a replacement, include the former marking.
- DALEX spring suspenders
- State tool mass including accessories
- Show the installation position
- Define the required mounting set
Equipment project or replacement part
Start with the required outcome: replace a worn component, restore an assembly, or introduce a welding process. For a repair, identify the installed machine and component position. For equipment, describe the workpiece, joint and production operation.
A single enquiry may contain both equipment and parts. Use separate lines for electrodes, holders, transformers, complete machines and tooling sets. Give each line a quantity and a link to the installed equipment or project requirement.
Identify the installed DALEX configuration
Send a complete rating-plate photograph, followed by close images of the model and serial number. Include the machine, gun or assembly in its installed position. A circuit diagram and the relevant parts-list page help identify the configuration.
Copy the component marking without abbreviations, including every suffix. PMS or MF identifies a family; procurement requires the complete designation. Mark the item number on the assembly drawing and identify neighbouring components that should be included in the replacement.
Previous order records and packaging labels are useful for repeat enquiries. If markings differ, include both versions and explain their origin. Name photographs by enquiry line and machine, especially when several similar machines are involved in the same request.
Define a resistance welding machine request
Specify each workpiece material and thickness, the joint arrangement, the number of spots or the seam length. Include a dimensioned drawing showing electrode access. A photograph explains the overall shape; a drawing defines the space available for the welding operation.
Describe the production sequence, intended output, shifts and loading method. State whether an operator, mechanism or robot loads the part. Where existing tooling must be retained, include its arrangement and explain which interfaces or working positions are already fixed.
List the installation conditions: electrical supply, compressed air, cooling, available space and connection to the line. For a replacement machine, attach the previous equipment data. Distinguish fixed production requirements from details that can be discussed during selection.
Electrode geometry and repeat orders
Photograph the working face, mounting and full electrode beside a scale. State diameter, length and mounting method. A drawing with tolerances is more useful than a photograph alone. For roller electrodes, add the outside diameter, thickness and bore or fastening dimensions.
Describe the welded parts and the electrode position. Separate upper and lower components, and left and right configurations, in a set request. For several pairs on one machine, identify their positions on a sketch and give the quantity for each.
For a repeat batch, attach the previously agreed designation. If the shape must change, supply a revised drawing and list the changes separately. Compare the sample and replacement against the agreed dimensions, rather than treating a similar appearance as an installation specification.
Transformer replacement information
Provide the complete transformer plate and the welding installation circuit. Identify the installed control system and connection arrangement. Show the power, control and cooling connections in photographs, including their positions relative to the body of the assembly.
For installation, provide overall dimensions, fastening holes, orientation and surrounding space. Keep measurement units visible on the sketch. If the transformer is part of a larger assembly, show the assembly and specify which components are included in the procurement request.
Describe the fault separately from the component designation. Include measurements already taken and a service assessment where available. This information supports a technical enquiry; changes to the machine circuits remain a separate engineering task for the responsible technical personnel.
Robot cell and manual work station
For a robot gun, begin with the cell arrangement and robot model. Show access to the welding positions, mounting surfaces and connection routes. Consider the X or C geometry together with the workpiece and the required electrode positions.
State the drive type, control arrangement and existing interfaces. When replacing a gun in an operating cell, attach the former assembly marking, mount and connection documents. List tooling, cables and other requested items separately when defining the delivery scope.
For a manual station, describe the workpiece, reach to each welding position and tool arrangement. For a suspension enquiry, identify the mass of the assembled tool and the work area layout. Link guns, electrodes and accessories to the same station reference.
Cooling and welding drive components
For a water-system component, show inlet, outlet and mounting, with its marking and connection diagram. Identify the machine served by a separate cooler. An overall system view and detailed connection photographs help establish orientation and access for maintenance.
For a cylinder, provide its designation, machine position, mountings and installed drive data. Define the scope of an assembly request: body, mounting, connections and other documented components. Keep a single cylinder request separate from the complete assembly it belongs to.
Prepare the enquiry and delivery list
Provide a contact and delivery city, with one line per item: assembly name, complete designation, quantity and installed machine. Attach a table and use matching numbers on photographs and drawings. For equipment, include a technical brief for the welding process.
The first step is to clarify technical identity and assembly scope. The agreed list then defines the delivery, documentation and logistics requirements. Separate consumables, repair assemblies and equipment so that requirements for each part of the order can be reviewed.
Before placing an order, compare the final list with the agreed quotation. Check designations, quantities, scope and destination. For several production sites, state the allocation of the batch to each location, so packaging and documentation can follow the same arrangement.
