CKD pneumatic equipment and actuators

Select CKD equipment for machine assemblies and maintenance: pneumatic manifolds, cylinders, air preparation, flow sensors and rotary positioning systems.

4G directional valves

Select a 4G valve or manifold by its complete designation, switching circuit, coil supply and connection to the base. Photograph the fitted assembly as well as the valve label.

  • Families 4GA/BR, M4GA/BR, MN4GA/BR
  • Versions with 3 and 5 ports
  • Body piping or base piping
  • Specify a single valve or a manifold

TVG plug-in manifolds

TVG combines plug-in valve blocks in a configurable pneumatic manifold. Define the actuator circuit, connection arrangement and control interface before specifying an entire station or replacement section.

  • Pilot-operated valves with 3 and 5 ports
  • Serial communication or individual wiring
  • Options include EtherCAT, PROFINET and IO-Link
  • Provide the manifold configuration sheet

SCA2 pneumatic cylinders

SCA2 tie-rod cylinders provide linear movement. Match the bore, stroke, mounting brackets and switch arrangement; a replacement request should also include the machine installation dimensions.

  • Standard version is double acting
  • Standard bore range: 40–100 mm
  • Stroke adjustment and heat-resistant variations
  • Photograph the label and mounting brackets

SSD2 compact cylinders

SSD2 is a space-saving cylinder family. Specify the full code, stroke, rod-end thread and port orientation. A maintenance request should identify the body variation before a seal or accessory is selected.

  • Double-acting and single-acting variations
  • Standard bore range: 12–200 mm
  • Position locking and rotation-stop variations
  • Select the switch and its mounting together

F.R.L. air preparation

Modular C※0※0 combinations provide filtration and pressure regulation, with lubricators in the relevant configurations. Define air demand, connection thread, filtration grade and condensate drainage.

  • Filter, regulator and lubricator combinations
  • Filter and regulator combinations also available
  • Check flow direction and mounting arrangement
  • Identify the filter element independently

ADK fluid control valves

ADK diaphragm solenoid valves control a fluid circuit. Select body and seal materials for the actual medium, and specify the de-energised state and coil requirements for a replacement.

  • ADK11 is normally closed
  • ADK12 is normally open
  • Pilot kick actuation supports zero differential pressure
  • State the medium, temperature and pressure

ABSODEX rotary actuators

ABSODEX provides rotary positioning. Specify the actuator and driver as a matched system, using the load, movement cycle, cables and machine control interface as selection inputs.

  • AX1R is the high-precision version
  • AX2R is high-speed; AX4R is standard
  • AXD is the driver for the current family
  • Check the generation of an older AX1000T

FSM3 gas flow sensors

FSM3 measures gas flow. State the gas, measuring range, connection and output signal. For a replacement, include photographs of the display, connector and complete variation code.

  • Media include air, nitrogen, argon and CO2
  • Display and separate sensor configurations
  • Check measuring units and the selected gas
  • Match the cable and output to the controller

SCM round-body cylinders

SCM is a round-body cylinder family. Match the complete code, stroke, rod and mounting hardware. Identify the switch separately and describe how it is mounted on the cylinder body.

  • Standard bore range: 20–100 mm
  • Single-rod and double-rod variations
  • Band or rail mounting for the switch
  • Verify dimensions against the cylinder drawing

HVB high-vacuum valves

HVB solenoid valves serve high-vacuum circuits. An older assembly requires its full designation and vacuum-line diagram; changing generations also requires verification of connections and control.

  • HVB612 and HVB712 are current variations
  • HVB71 belongs to a discontinued generation
  • Check the orifice, connections and coil supply
  • Review the assembly documentation for replacement

Identify the complete CKD designation

Photograph the complete label, including suffixes and the supply marking. A coil code may differ from the valve designation, and a cylinder switch has its own label. For an assembly, identify every component that needs to be included in the quotation.

Send an overall installation photograph and close views of the connections. Specify whether you need the complete assembly, an individual section, a switch, a coil or a maintenance kit. A machine parts list or an assembly drawing can help identify a damaged label.

Check the codes on each device when several similar units are involved. Similar-looking cylinders may have different strokes, while valves can have different de-energised states. Keep the original designation and required quantity on separate lines in the request.

Define the valve duty and connection

For a directional valve, describe the actuator movement and include the pneumatic circuit. State the supply and exhaust arrangement, coil voltage and connector. When replacing a section in a manifold, photograph the base and adjacent sections as well as the valve.

For a fluid control valve, state the medium, temperature and pressures on both sides. Include the connection thread, flow direction and required state with power removed. These inputs separate a compressed-air switching task from a liquid or process-gas application.

A coil request should include its own label, connector and retaining arrangement. Describe leakage or sticking separately from an electrical failure. This helps define whether the request concerns a complete valve or a component listed for the existing assembly.

Specify cylinder motion and mounting

A cylinder enquiry needs the bore, stroke, rod arrangement and mounting method. Photograph both ends and the unit in its machine position. Mounting distances, port orientation and rod thread help verify how the replacement connects to the existing mechanism.

Describe cushioning, guides, rotation prevention and position switches. Identify each switch, cable length and connector separately. For a maintenance kit, supply the cylinder designation rather than relying only on the name of the machine in which it is installed.

Explain the load, installation orientation and operating sequence. Note when the observed fault occurs. A connection drawing is useful when modifying an installation; for a repeat order, the previously agreed complete designation is the preferred starting point.

Configure a manifold as a complete assembly

Provide the manifold configuration sheet or a section-by-section list with positions. Identify the electrical supply, communication interface, number of coils and used ports. Overall photographs should show both sides, end blocks and electrical connections.

For an additional section, describe the existing air distribution and available connections. State which actuators it will serve and whether a separate supply or exhaust is needed. List the communication unit, valve blocks, blanking plates and mounting items independently.

A complete station replacement also needs the controller connection diagram and input/output assignment. Agree the configuration before ordering. For a local repair, first identify the affected section and its exact position within the installed manifold.

Choose air preparation for the installation

Define air demand, inlet pressure and required pressure downstream of the regulator. Include the connection thread, flow direction, mounting and filtration arrangement. A photograph of the complete air preparation unit shows which components must remain in the assembly.

Treat the filter, regulator, lubricator and condensate drainage as distinct components. A filter element needs the designation of its housing as well as its own marking. Use a drawing position when requesting a bowl, gauge, bracket or other accessory.

Describe the environment: inside a cabinet, beside the machine or in a washdown area. Mention condensate or air contamination where it relates to the fault. Dimensions are selection inputs alongside the intended function and complete configuration of the unit.

Match ABSODEX actuator, driver and generation

Send the actuator and driver labels, connection photographs and cable designations. Describe the load mass, its position relative to the axis, required stopping positions and movement cycle. These inputs define the rotary positioning system and its delivery configuration.

Separate an actuator replacement from a control replacement. A driver enquiry requires the machine interface and saved settings; a cable enquiry requires both connector types. Preserve the complete old designation, including suffixes, when identifying an installed generation.

Changing generations requires electrical, mounting and configuration checks. Production of the AX1000T family has ended; the current family includes AX1R, AX2R, AX4R and AXD. Select the next generation against the actual machine configuration and required interfaces.

Define gas measurement and vacuum connections

A flow sensor enquiry should state the gas, measuring range and selected units. Send photographs of the display and settings, connector details and output type. For a separate sensor head, identify the display or controller that receives the signal.

A vacuum valve request needs the line diagram, connection designations and coil supply. Preserve every suffix when identifying an older HVB71. CKD lists HVB712 as the subsequent family; the particular connection and electrical variation require separate verification.

Describe the observed behaviour: vacuum is not retained, the valve does not open, the sensor reading changes or communication is interrupted. Specify the component you intend to purchase. This keeps the request connected to the actual circuit and maintenance task.

Prepare a complete equipment enquiry

Send a list of complete designations and quantities, the delivery destination and the application. For assemblies, add the installation conditions and connection diagram. Photographs, a drawing and the machine spare-parts list can accompany the same request.

For an urgent repair, identify the priority components and available technical information. For planned spares, list the variations already installed at the plant. The agreed list distinguishes complete equipment, replaceable components, maintenance kits and consumable elements.

Before ordering, check designation, accessories and documentation against the agreed scope. Record any changes by line item during clarification. Link cables, brackets, sensors and other accessories to their respective assemblies so that the supplied equipment has a clear configuration.

Availability, price, lead time and documentation are checked for the individual supply request. Official dealership and compatibility with every generation are not claimed; suitability is reviewed against the full designation and equipment configuration.
