Machine Selection by Material Throughput and Area Operating Conditions

The calculation starts with the task, not with the price list: how many pounds of resin per hour pass through the machine, which polymer and what initial moisture content, how many machines are installed in the area, and how the raw material reaches the shop floor. These data determine the dryer size, the conveying line diameter, the hopper volume and the vacuum pump capacity.

For an extrusion line, the downstream equipment is calculated separately: calibration, cooling bath length, haul-off force and cutting speed for the specific profile or pipe, including automatic thickness control Vento.

If the area is only being designed, we prepare a layout drawing and a specification stating which components can be replaced with an equivalent and which are tied to the machine design.

A separate task is integrating a new machine into an existing loop: we check whether the connection dimensions, the material throughput and the control signals match what is already installed in the area.

Applications of Conair Equipment

Conair equipment operates in injection molding, pipe and profile extrusion, film production, thermoforming, compounding, PET processing and recycling. A dedicated Cleanroom-Ready line is built for cleanrooms: medical products, packaging, electronics.

Typical tasks the machines are selected for: consistent drying of PA, PC, ABS and PET before processing, centralized raw material supply to several machines, gravimetric blending with recipe accuracy, granulation of sprues and rejects at the machine, mold temperature control and circulating cooling.

The manufacturer publishes a spare parts catalog and an archive of manuals, including equipment of previous generations, so machines purchased earlier remain serviceable: components are selected by marking and documentation.

The Vento automatic thickness control line stands apart: it is used where the tolerance for wall thickness or sheet thickness is critical, and it is selected together with the extrusion downstream equipment.

For areas with several machines, the equipment is linked into a single loop: central drying and raw material supply, common heat removal and unified monitoring of parameters.

Configuration, Documentation and Acceptance of Delivery

The equipment is supplied in factory packaging with the manufacturer's accompanying documentation. Completeness is verified against the specification before dispatch: control panel, sensors, filters, a set of conveying line or calibrating tooling.

The electrical design and voltage are selected for the shop power supply, and the control interfaces for the existing controllers of the area, so that the machine requires no rework of the connections.

For drying and conveying lines, essential consumables are supplied: filters, dew point sensors, heaters and seals, so that commissioning is not interrupted by a single item.

Shipment is planned around the machine dimensions: large units travel in a rigid crate fastened to the frame, while small components stay in the manufacturer's packaging. Before dispatch we agree the transport method and the transshipment points so that the equipment arrives undamaged.

Documentation is supplied in English; key sections of the manual can be translated on request for the plant engineers.

Equipment Acceptance on Site and Further Maintenance

After the cargo arrives, the condition of the packaging and the completeness are checked, then the machine is placed on a foundation or frame and connected to the power supply, the material loop and the cooling system. Commissioning is discussed separately and is carried out according to the manufacturer's documentation.

In operation, consumables and monitoring of parameters matter: drying and conveying filters, temperature and dew point sensors, heaters, and granulator knives and screens. These items can be ordered as a set, so that the area is not stopped because of a single part.

If a component needs to be replaced or a machine restored, the selection is made by marking and the manual, and for ambiguous versions a clarification is requested from the manufacturer.

Conair Equipment Delivery Terms

Delivery is made against a specific specification: from a single machine to a complete set for an area. Payment in rubles by invoice, delivery to a warehouse or to the terminal of a transport company within Russia. Purchasing from China, Europe, the USA and Japan — along whichever route the item is available faster. Price, lead time and installation terms are fixed in the quotation; installation supervision and commissioning are discussed on request.

For repeat orders we keep the specification for the area: machine markings, selected components and consumables, so that the next order is assembled faster and without repeated verification.
