i series manipulators

The current manual lists i3, i5, i7, i10, i12, i16 and i20. Check reach, load, mounting and operating conditions for the specific configuration. Model numbering does not replace checking tool mass and centre of gravity. Provide required positions, motion duty, available space and machine communication requirements.

iS series robots

The current iS manual includes iS3, iS7, iS10, iS20, iS20L, iS25 and iS35. State the exact version and process requirements. Reach, mechanical and configuration differences must be checked against the model documentation. Replacing a robot needs the controller, versions and source project. Equal payload does not establish interchangeability.

Control and software

The i series manual references the CB-iS controller and AuboStudio. A control component request needs the compatible arm, existing block identification and scope. Retaining a program requires software version and connected device details. Cables, interfaces and tooling must be checked as one configuration.

Tool and application

Provide workpiece and tooling mass, centre of gravity, paths and cycle requirements. Identify existing grippers, sensors, vision and external control. A collaborative robot requires application-specific risk assessment for the complete cell. Equipment supply does not establish a commissioned program or process.
