FAMSUN and Muyang feed processing equipment
Integrated FAMSUN equipment for pelleting, extrusion, mixing and complete feed plants for buyers worldwide.
K, KN and KX pellet mills
FAMSUN lists K for pig and poultry feed, KN for ruminant formulations and KX for aquafeed. Die, conditioning, cooling and screening are selected against the formulation, pellet diameter and target output.
- K covers piglet, pig and poultry formulations
- KN covers hay powder, molasses-added and coarse-fiber feed
- KX covers fish, shrimp and crab feed
MUZL belt pellet mills
MUZL 00, MUZL V4 and MUZL 10 are belt-driven pellet mill families. The manufacturer separates their applications and roll arrangements. Selection requires the feed type, drive layout, die and installed assemblies.
- MUZL 00 has two-roll and three-roll versions
- MUZL V4 covers pig, chicken, duck and ruminant feed
- MUZL 10 includes fish, special aquafeed and ruminant feed
H and SJPS extruders
For aquafeed, FAMSUN describes the twin-screw H and single-screw SJPS. They cover floating, sinking, slow-sinking and micro feeds, while the configuration remains formulation, moisture, die and thermal-mode specific.
- H adapts to floating, sinking and slow-sinking feed
- SJPS is aimed at freshwater floating and sinking shrimp feed
- Conditioning, cooling and moisture control remain important
SXPS, SJPZ and SJPX extruders
FAMSUN lists SXPS, SJPZ and SJPX for pig, poultry, ruminant and aquafeed processing. Equipment is selected by gelatinisation target, powder content, throughput and formulation.
- The families cover several feed classes
- The process objective includes gelatinisation
- Screw, barrel, die and cooling are selected as a system
SCTZ conditioners and pretreatment
FAMSUN describes SCTZ as a double-shaft differential conditioner for pretreatment before pelleting or extrusion in aquafeed and pet-food lines. Steam, liquid addition, residence time and mixing uniformity are checked against the recipe.
- SCTZ is used for pretreatment
- It sits before pelleting or extrusion
- Steam and liquid addition require process adjustment
Grinding and mixing sections
FAMSUN presents grinding, mixing, batching, cooling, screening and conveying as distinct process sections. The installed execution, connections, drive and location define the spare position.
- The line arrangement follows the formulation and product
- Batching and mixing affect uniformity
- Screens and conveyors are installation-specific
Automation and control
In the Haid case FAMSUN mentions automated control technologies and its Fimcos system for the grinding section. Control components are checked against the cabinet, controller, sensors, actuators, signal addressing and project version.
- Fimcos is named for grinding control in the Haid case
- Automation is tied to the line control architecture
- Control modules require identification and project matching
Complete feed plants
FAMSUN supplies engineering solutions for aquafeed, pig and poultry feed, ruminant feed, premixes and other products. The Haid case combines silos, pelleting, extrusion, automation and auxiliary systems.
- The Haid case lists six 1,500-ton silos
- The project included three pelleting lines
- Two H156 twin-screw lines were stated at 10 t/h
Selecting a process solution
FAMSUN equipment is selected by product, process section and installed configuration. We match pellet mills, extruders, conditioners, conveying and control equipment to the recipe, target particle size, throughput and site interfaces.
A nameplate and an equipment drawing are more reliable than a similar photograph.
Engineering and commissioning
For equipment buyers, the practical scope includes technical diagnostics, defect inspection, component matching, operating-mode adjustment and commissioning within the line.
Mechanical wear, drive load, steam and liquid addition, sensors and interlocks are checked as one process rather than as isolated products.
Pelleting and extrusion control
Pellet diameter, die type, roll clearance, conditioning temperature, cooling and screening affect the finished feed. Extruder screw configuration, barrel sections, die, knife, water and steam supply must be confirmed for the exact family.
Parameters from one series are not transferred to another without documentation.
Automation and project delivery
Control cabinets, controllers, sensors, actuators, drives, signal addressing and project versions are matched before replacement. A complete line review can include silos, grinding, mixing, pelleting, extrusion, automation and auxiliary systems.
Equipment boundary and acceptance
The installed series, process role and interface drawing define the equipment boundary. Acceptance compares the documented model configuration with operating results and safety interlocks during the agreed production test.
International supply
SpareX serves equipment buyers in different countries, including China. Scope, documentation, language, shipping route and commissioning boundary are agreed from the actual project requirements.
Silos, dosing and conveying
A complete feed plant also depends on silos, bucket elevators, screw conveyors, pneumatic conveying, batching and loading interfaces. These sections are checked for flow direction, connection geometry, drive arrangement, capacity and control signals.
A disturbance at the pellet mill may originate upstream in dosing or material flow.
Cooling, screening and packaging
After pelleting or extrusion, cooling and screening protect product stability and control fines. The selected cooler, screen and conveyor depend on throughput, product temperature, particle size and maintenance access.
Packaging and palletising are reviewed as downstream equipment, not as interchangeable accessories.
Project documentation
For an international project, the equipment scope, utility requirements, control boundary, drawings, manuals and spare-parts list should be agreed before supply. The exact series, option set and interface drawings remain the basis for engineering and commissioning.
Site readiness
Before installation, check electrical supply, steam, water, compressed air, ventilation, foundation, service clearance and lifting access. These interfaces affect the project scope and commissioning boundary.
Acceptance checks
Acceptance should compare throughput, feed flow, temperature, moisture, fines, vibration and automation signals with the agreed project parameters. A single motor start is not a complete commissioning test.
Maintenance boundary
The supply package should identify wear parts, service tools, control spares, manuals and the party responsible for commissioning. This prevents a complete machine from being treated as a collection of unverified generic components.
