MUSASHI Engineering dispensing systems

Specify a MUSASHI dispensing system around your material and workpiece: controller, head, robot and consumables. Send the application, target deposit and workstation drawing for an equipment enquiry.

SuperSigma CMIV controller

An air-pulse dispenser for dot and line application. Identify the complete controller reference and connected fluid path when planning a replacement. Keep CMIII and CMIV generations distinct in the enquiry.

  • Material-level volume correction
  • Automatic vacuum correction
  • Low-material alarm
  • 4.3-inch touchscreen

ML-8000X digital dispenser

A controller for dispensing applications that need production information and recipe management. State the material, delivery arrangement and machine interface. Give the original full reference for an installed ML-5000XII unit.

  • Digital dispensing control
  • Logging and self-diagnostics
  • Recipe transfer through USB
  • 4.3-inch colour touch panel

SuperJet 2 non-contact dispensing

A jet head applies material without touching the workpiece. Describe the adhesive or paste, target deposit and cycle requirement. For an existing line, include photographs of the head, nozzle and controller.

  • Operating frequency up to 500 Hz
  • 24 V DC power from host equipment
  • USB and RS-232C communication
  • Non-contact material application

MPP-1 and MPP-5 volumetric dispensing

These families use volumetric dispensing for controlled liquid delivery. A replacement head needs its own part reference; the controller model alone does not identify the material-contact assembly.

  • MPP-1 digital volumetric operation
  • MPP-5 volumetric dispensing
  • Filling and paste application tasks
  • Head selection by complete reference

MPP3-2K two-component dispenser

Treat the A and B feed paths, heads and mixing arrangement as a single system. Supply the mixing ratio, individual material viscosities and working life of the mixture for bonding or potting evaluation.

  • Individual head adjustment
  • Configurable mixing ratio
  • Materials with different viscosities
  • Bonding and sensor-potting applications

ScrewMaster3 screw dispensing

A screw-dispensing family for viscous, particle-filled pastes. Specify the material, filler particle information and cleaning routine. A photograph of the removed component helps identify its position in the fluid path.

  • Screw-type material delivery
  • Particle-filled paste applications
  • Dot and line deposition
  • Material-contact parts selected together

ShotMaster dispensing robots

Desktop systems move a dispensing head along a programmed pattern. For a new cell, provide the dispensing-area drawing and workpiece data; for a replacement component, identify the robot and the component itself.

  • SX speed up to 800 mm/s
  • SX repeatability ±0.01 mm
  • Omega repeatability ±0.005 mm
  • Synchro Speed dispensing coordination

MUSASHI needles, cartridges and valves

Select consumables by material, connection and dispenser arrangement. Send the packaging reference, a photograph of the needle or cartridge and the required quantity. A valve enquiry also needs the valve reference.

  • Dispensing needles
  • Application-specific cartridges
  • Antistatic, UV and metal versions
  • NCV-17 needle valve

Choose the process before choosing a model

Start with the material and the required result: an individual dot, a continuous bead, cavity filling or a coated area. Supply the material technical sheet and the intended working temperature.

The useful details include viscosity at that temperature, filler content, particle information and curing behaviour. Keep the required deposit amount, shape and permissible variation together in the enquiry so that the proposed system can be evaluated against the same manufacturing task.

For a new process, agree how the material will be tested and how the result will be assessed. A sample part, a drawing of the dispensing area and a description of the current operation provide a practical starting point. State the desired cycle and the available space.

The head, material feed, motion platform and workholding can then be considered as parts of one application rather than as isolated catalogue items.

Define the complete equipment package

List what is required at the workstation: material supply, controller, dispensing head, needle or nozzle, mounting, workpiece fixture and cycle controls. An existing controller reference identifies only part of this package.

Include photographs of the head, material connections and relevant labels when discussing a replacement or an extension. A clear distinction between the controller and the fluid-contact assembly makes it easier to compare the proposed bill of materials with the installed equipment.

For integration into a production line, provide the available utilities and the required exchange of signals with the host machine. Describe how the operator loads parts, selects a programme, replenishes material and restarts after an interruption.

Identify the components already present at the site and those that must be included in the supply. This information helps define the quotation scope and the practical boundaries of the equipment project.

Prepare a precise spare-part enquiry

Send the full part reference, the required quantity and photographs of both the component and the equipment label. Preserve every suffix and separator in the reference. An annotated exploded view is particularly useful for an internal component whose own marking is unreadable.

Include the adjacent connections and the mounting location so the enquiry describes the complete installation context, not only the appearance of a loose part.

For a needle or nozzle, supply the connection and dimensions together with the material being dispensed. For a syringe or cartridge, identify the adapter and the installed feed arrangement. A valve enquiry needs its own reference and photographs of the ports.

If an existing ML-5000XII or SuperSigma CMIII is involved, retain that original model in the enquiry. Characteristics of a newer family are assessed separately from the installed generation.

Describe unstable dispensing in observable terms

Explain whether the issue is a changing dot weight, missing deposits, stringing, dripping after a shot or a varying bead width. Record when it occurs: after refill, as material is consumed, after a pause or following a material change.

Photographs of consecutive samples and a short cycle video can provide useful context where site rules permit recording. Preserve the displayed error text and the settings used for the examples.

Include the cleaning routine, recent consumable changes and the material working conditions. For a head or valve assessment, describe the supply arrangement and the intervals between cycles. Keep the observations separate from assumptions about the failed component.

The enquiry can then be reviewed for the required replacement or service work using the equipment documentation and a clearly described symptom. Inspection steps and service scope are agreed for the specific installation.

Specify a ShotMaster workstation

Provide a drawing of the dispensing path, workpiece height changes, access restrictions and the intended fixture. State the number of parts handled in a cycle and how they are loaded.

A robot movement specification and an application acceptance requirement are different inputs: the deposit quality must be defined for the actual material and component. Preserve the SX or Omega series designation when comparing motion data and selecting the required platform.

Consider the whole workstation cycle, including loading, material replenishment, nozzle cleaning and sample inspection. Describe any required changeover between products and how the dispensing programme is selected.

A practical equipment scope includes the fixture, head mounting, operator controls and the agreed interfaces. These details allow a complete process proposal to be reviewed against the production task and give purchasing and engineering teams a common list of the required equipment.

Supply both material data sheets for a two-part process

For a two-component adhesive or potting material, provide information for both A and B, the required ratio and whether that ratio is specified by mass or by volume. Include the individual viscosities, fillers and working life after mixing.

Explain whether the material is premixed or combined immediately before dispensing. These details determine the questions that must be resolved for the feed paths, heads and mixing arrangement.

The MPP3-2K family offers individual head adjustment for the two-component application. In the project enquiry, also describe the cleaning method, permitted residual mixture and end-of-shift procedure. Identify which wetted components must be replaced during a material change.

Agree the test material and sample acceptance conditions before finalising the equipment configuration. The objective is a defined dispensing process with an understandable maintenance and changeover routine.

Plan consumables and maintenance as part of the system

Treat the needle, cartridge, adapter and valve as a connected fluid path. When one item changes, identify the other components that remain installed. For routine replenishment, a list of packaging references and quantities is more useful than a generic request for dispenser parts.

Photographs of the existing packs can help preserve the exact reference during procurement and separate production consumables from repair assemblies.

For a maintenance stock, identify the positions already used at the site and the intended service operation. An unmarked component should be shown in its installation location with available dimensions or a drawing.

If a different construction is being considered, list the mandatory connections, sizes and material requirements. Compare the proposal with these conditions and with the original equipment configuration before selecting a replacement for the production line.

Agree equipment acceptance and delivery scope

Define the result that will be checked at commissioning: deposit mass and geometry, bead continuity, cavity filling or the absence of missed positions. Set out the measurement conditions and the intended number of repeated samples.

If temperature, time after mixing or surface preparation influences the result, include those conditions in the application brief. This gives the equipment proposal a clear basis for testing with the customer material.

The supply list should identify the controller, dispensing head, fixture and production consumables. Confirm the required documentation language, utility connections and host-machine signals. Separately list the spare items intended for first maintenance.

Send the destination, required packing, shipping scope and installation needs with the enquiry. The resulting quotation can then describe a complete equipment package and the services to be agreed for the receiving site.

Dealer status, stock availability, universal interchangeability, certification scope, price and lead time are not confirmed in advance; the equipment configuration, documents and shipping terms are agreed for the individual order.
