Equipment and component selection for DARDONTECH

SpareX helps select sheet metal machines and components for DARDONTECH equipment. Share your drawings, materials and production targets to define punching, laser cutting, bending or shearing requirements.

D-ER300, D-ES300 and D-T30 punch presses

The manufacturer describes electric servo punching and forming for D-ER300 and D-ES300. Specify the machine model and turret layout when selecting equipment or requesting tooling and replacement assemblies.

  • D-ES300: stated punching force 300 kN
  • D-ES300: 5000×1250 mm sheet with one repositioning
  • D-T30: 16, 24 or 32 turret stations
  • Tooling selection by station and mounting geometry

DE and DS laser cutting machines

DARDONTECH lists an exchange table for DE and a single-table layout for DS. Define the sheet format and handling process for a machine enquiry; identify the installed source, cutting head and cooling system for parts.

  • DE: exchange table for loading and unloading
  • DS: single working table
  • Listed formats include 3015, 4015, 4020 and 6020
  • Components checked against the installed configuration

PDE press brakes

The PDE description names DELEM DA53T control and Rexroth hybrid pump control. A quotation should identify the press model, control version and tooling interface; component requests also need the installed part number and circuit drawing.

  • PDE: hybrid pump control
  • DELEM DA53T named in the series description
  • CNC-controlled mechanical crowning listed
  • Tooling checked against the part and clamping interface

Shearing machines and cutting assemblies

The manufacturer lists hydraulic swing-beam and hydraulic guillotine categories. Specify the machine model and required cutting task; blade and backgauge requests need dimensions, mounting photographs and the relevant drawing.

  • Hydraulic swing-beam category
  • Hydraulic guillotine category
  • Blades checked by length, section and mounting holes
  • Backgauge enquiry needs travel and drive details

Identify the machine and the production task

Start with a clear machine nameplate, an overall photograph and a view of the assembly in its installed position. Record the complete model designation, including suffixes. If the machine has been modified, provide the current drawing and a short description of the changes.

An older manual may describe a previous configuration.

For a new machine enquiry, attach representative part drawings, material grades, thicknesses, sheet sizes and required output. Explain which operation limits your production, such as hole punching, tool changes, cutting, bending or part handling. This helps define the process and the delivery scope.

Keep the drawing revision and the enquiry list together so that production staff and purchasing staff assess the same requirement. State whether the enquiry concerns an individual machine or its place within an existing production route.

Punch tooling and press brake tooling

For punch tooling, specify the turret station, mounting dimensions, hole shape and workpiece material. Supply separate photographs of the punch, die and holder, together with a view of their position in the turret.

State whether the requirement is one working pair or a set covering several operations. Assess the cutting edge and the holder separately when describing wear.

For bending tooling, send a dimensioned part section, required radii, the existing punch and die drawing, the clamping arrangement and the required tool length. A photograph of the part before and after bending can clarify the intended sequence.

Tool selection also requires access to the bending area and a way to remove the finished part. A machine series name alone does not identify the tooling interface or establish that an alternative tool can be installed.

Drives, electrical components and control versions

For a motor, drive, sensor or control panel, send a photograph of the entire label. Include the suffix, hardware version, electrical ratings and connector details. Attach the relevant circuit drawing and the component reference used in that drawing.

Any inspection of electrical equipment should be performed safely by qualified personnel.

Record the exact alarm text, the operating conditions and the diagnostic steps already completed. Selecting a replacement and diagnosing the cause of a fault are separate tasks. For a programmable component, define responsibility for parameter files, software configuration and commissioning.

When a drive or controller has previously been changed, identify the equipment actually fitted to the machine and provide the revised documentation. Similar appearance does not establish interchangeability, especially when a replacement must communicate with an existing control system.

Define the machine quotation scope

Prepare a process brief based on the parts you intend to manufacture. Include material grades, thickness ranges, blank sizes, edge requirements, dimensional tolerances, shift pattern and typical batch sizes. Drawings of difficult parts help assess tool access and the required operation sequence.

Explain how incoming sheets and finished parts move through the production area.

Separate the machine, tooling, auxiliary assemblies, packing, transport and any agreed site work in the quotation scope. Loading arrangements, part removal and data exchange should be discussed explicitly.

Compare proposed configurations using the same reference parts and the same list of included activities. Production output should be assessed against an agreed cycle that includes handling and changeover.

A maximum axis speed in a specification table is not a measure of completed parts per shift or of the performance of the complete production route.

Laser components and auxiliary systems

Identify the manufacturer and model of the installed cutting head before requesting its consumable components. Provide photographs, markings and available dimensions for the nozzle, ceramic holder or protective element. A previous packaging label can help link a worn component to a documented item.

Include the relevant component list when available.

For cooling equipment, provide the unit nameplate, connection details and the equipment it serves. A fault description may clarify the request, but it does not identify the replacement by itself.

Work on optics, cooling circuits and electrical systems requires trained personnel following the documentation for the installed equipment. For a new machine, list auxiliary systems and initial operating materials separately.

Agree their inclusion and interfaces before ordering so that preparation for installation is based on a defined delivery scope rather than assumptions about a standard package.

Site preparation and acceptance

Prepare an installation layout showing access routes, service clearances and the path from the unloading point to the operating position. State doorway restrictions, available lifting equipment and unloading arrangements.

Power, compressed air and auxiliary system requirements must be checked against the documentation for the selected configuration. Requirements from another machine are not a substitute.

Define reference parts, material, measurement methods and the required documents before acceptance. Keep the completeness check separate from the machining result check. If installation assistance or operator training is required, specify the location, responsibilities and included work.

For parts, agree package identification, kit contents and the receiving inspection process. Photographs before dispatch can help confirm the contents of shipping packages, while the technical acceptance criteria remain those agreed for the equipment or assembly in the quotation.

Build an itemised enquiry

Use one line for each machine model, assembly, part number, quantity and associated photograph. Keep items from different machines separate even when they look similar.

Specify whether each line concerns an individual component, an assembled unit or a kit including fasteners, seals and associated items. Record the drawing revision with the relevant line.

Highlight the items that affect production and state the planned need date. If a technically different option may be considered, define the interfaces and operating parameters that must remain compatible. Such an option should be assessed and agreed separately before ordering.

After clarification, retain a single revised enquiry list with a fixed scope. Changes to quantities, part materials or machine configuration should be recorded in that list so that the quotation can be recalculated without mixing earlier assumptions with the final requirement.
