Cold room equipment for FLAND
Define a cold room equipment package by FLAND configuration, refrigeration duty, room dimensions and the required scope.
HUIHUANG units and monoblocks
Define the refrigeration package by its complete unit code, compressor label and connection diagram. HUIHUANG includes different configurations. The catalogue example for a 3P unit at -18 °C does not describe every unit.
- 3P example: cooling capacity 5.28 kW
- Example power supply: 380V/3Ph/50Hz
- The example specifies R507A refrigerant
Air coolers and air-cooled condensers
Identify the installed heat exchanger before selecting a fan, motor or defrost component. The air cooler inside a room and the unit condenser have different duties. Matching external dimensions alone does not establish interchangeability.
- FA7024-M-PFJ-R: catalogue example 2.41 kW
- Example fan arrangement: 1 × 400 mm
- Example power supply: 220V/1Ph/50Hz
FD-900 controller and Fland Cold Cloud
Select a controller together with its sensors and cabinet wiring. Panel replacement requires terminal photographs, version identification and a description of the functions in use. Confirm remote monitoring functions for the chosen configuration.
- FD-900 power supply: 100–256VAC, 50/60Hz
- NTC sensor: 10 kΩ at 25 °C
- Catalogue power consumption: less than 15 W
Panels, doors and room enclosure components
Match panels, seals, door hardware and fasteners to the existing enclosure. Define panel thickness, surface material, opening dimensions and door handing. A component request should include close-up photographs and mounting measurements.
- Catalogue thicknesses: 75/100/120/150/200 mm
- Catalogue core materials: PU/PIR/VIP
- Cold room doors are a separate product group
Fixed and packaged cold rooms
Start a room project with the stored product, usable volume, temperature requirement and loading cycle. For an installed system, identify whether the request concerns a refrigeration unit, air cooler, controls or enclosure components.
- Fixed and containerised configurations
- Storage and freezing applications
- Equipment scope defined by the project
Mobile cold rooms and cold chain packages
Select a mobile room or delivery box by its mounting base, power supply and loading method. The mini walk-in room is one specific catalogue configuration. Its dimensions and temperature range do not describe other mobile products.
- Mini room: 2000 × 1500 × 1800 mm
- Mini room temperature range: -18…+5 °C
- Example panel: 75 mm, PU + GFRP
Start with a defined request
Send the full equipment identification and state which component or package you need. A request may concern one fan, a controller, a door seal or equipment for a new room. Put the required result in the first line so that these tasks remain distinct.
Include an overall photograph and a close-up of the identification plate. If the plate is difficult to access, provide the available pictures and a relevant drawing. Add the quantity, destination and a contact for technical questions.
SpareX reviews this information and identifies what remains necessary for a detailed equipment enquiry. A complete component code is more useful than a long list of unrelated catalogue items.
Define the refrigeration duty
Describe the product, its incoming condition and the quantity handled in a normal loading cycle. State the usable room dimensions, required storage temperature and loading schedule.
Identify the location available for the refrigeration unit, the electrical supply and physical installation constraints. For a replacement package, provide the existing equipment details and specify which parts of the system will remain.
These inputs help compare a configuration with its intended duty instead of selecting equipment only by room volume. If some information is still being developed, list the known requirements and attach a room layout. The equipment scope can then be refined before the final enquiry is prepared.
Identify the unit and compressor
Photograph the complete refrigeration unit plate, including additional letters and numbers. A compressor or attached component request also needs the identification of that particular item. Add an overview of the connections and explain which components have previously been changed.
When a part number cannot be read, include several views, mounting measurements and a relevant diagram. A series name alone does not establish the installed configuration. Separate the complete unit identification from the requested component code in your parts list.
This keeps the enquiry tied to the installed system and helps distinguish a component replacement from the purchase of a different equipment package.
Describe the air cooler request
Start with the heat exchanger identification and a picture of its installed position. For a motor, include its plate, fixing arrangement, connector and airflow direction. For a defrost component, provide the connection diagram and any readable component marking.
State whether you need one part or a complete heat exchanger. Keep the outdoor condenser information separate from the indoor air cooler information, and identify which device appears in each photograph. If drawings are unavailable, list accessible dimensions and the number of matching components.
The outstanding details can then be checked for the specific configuration, without treating a similar catalogue photograph as sufficient evidence of a match.
Specify controls and sensor requirements
A controller enquiry should include its front panel, identification and a clear terminal photograph. List the connected sensors and controlled devices, together with the functions required after replacement. Attach the cabinet diagram and existing configuration records when available.
Distinguish a panel supply request from a sensor package or a change to the room control arrangement. Describe connectivity and monitoring requirements separately. Cloud access, the data to be monitored and the required controller configuration need to be defined for the intended system.
The FD-900 designation identifies the product family, while the installed wiring and device information establish the scope of the actual replacement request.
Measure panels and door components
For a panel, record its thickness, length, width and visible surface material. Identify whether it forms part of a wall, ceiling or floor. A door request should include the opening dimensions, leaf arrangement, handing and fixing photographs.
If only a seal, latch or hinge is needed, provide close-up pictures with a measuring tool and an overview of its installed position. Label opening dimensions separately from the outside dimensions of the door leaf. List the quantity of each component when requesting several items.
This connects the enquiry to the existing enclosure and allows visually similar parts to be checked against their own mounting measurements.
Agree the complete equipment scope
For a new room, list the required enclosure, doors, refrigeration unit, air cooler, controls and connecting components. Identify equipment already available at the site and any requirement to retain it. Attach the proposed layout, electrical supply information and intended operating pattern.
A mobile package also needs its mounting base, overall dimensional limits and loading method. This list establishes the equipment scope before comparing proposals.
Engineering work, installation, commissioning and training require their own defined scope rather than being assumed to follow automatically from an equipment selection.
An itemised enquiry helps the purchasing and technical teams compare a quotation with the components actually required for their project.
Prepare purchasing and shipment information
Identify the destination country, delivery location and the party that will receive the equipment. Once the technical scope is defined, provide the purchasing entity details and any document requirements relevant to the project.
Specify whether the enquiry covers a single replacement component or several items supplied as one equipment package. SpareX confirms the item descriptions, quantities and shipment scope during quotation preparation.
Export packing, transport and handover arrangements should be stated for the selected configuration. When several colleagues contribute to the purchase, use one shared parts list with consistent item identifiers.
This helps the engineer, purchasing team and receiving staff review the same equipment scope without losing individual components.
