Danfoss equipment and spare parts
We source Danfoss VLT and VACON drives, Power Solutions hydraulics, compressors and refrigeration controls by type code and application, and agree configuration, scope and delivery.
VLT drives: FC 302, FC 202 and FC 102
VLT is the main Danfoss low-voltage drive series. FC 301/302 serve general industrial automation, FC 202 is designed for water and wastewater pumps, and FC 102 for HVAC systems. To select a drive or one of its assemblies, provide the full type code from the nameplate.
- FC 301/302: 0.37–500 kW at 400 V and up to 710 kW at 690 V.
- FC 202: from 0.25 kW, up to 800 kW at 3×525–690 V.
- FC 102: 1.1–560 kW at 3×380–480 V, interface in 27 languages.
- LCP panels, option boards and other assemblies are quoted separately.
VLT Micro Drive FC 51 and replacement
Danfoss has moved FC 51 into a limited support phase: the series is discontinued, spare parts are available only to a limited extent, and iC2-Micro is named as the successor. When an FC 51 fails, check whether the same drive or assembly can be sourced and evaluate a replacement in parallel.
- Provide the 132Fxxxx ordering number and power rating.
- An LCP 12 panel and the drive are quoted as separate items.
- For iC2-Micro, compare supply, power and control wiring.
- Save the parameter set of the old drive before removal.
VACON NXP drives
VACON is the Danfoss drive range for applications that require robust and dynamic performance. NXP Air Cooled covers power up to 2 MW as wall-mounted drives, standalone enclosed drives and IP00 modules. Drives and boards are selected by type code.
- NXP at 3×380–500 V: 1.5–1200 kW.
- Five built-in slots for I/O, fieldbus and functional safety boards.
- Coated printed circuit boards protect against dust and moisture.
- For an option board, state its designation and slot.
iC7 and iC2: current drive series
The current Danfoss low-voltage drive portfolio includes iC7, VLT, VACON and iC2, with discontinued models listed as legacy. New series are considered when the original drive is unavailable or a line is modernised. A replacement must match functions as well as power.
- iC7-Automation: 0.37–710 kW at 3×380–500 V.
- STO SIL3 is standard on iC7-Automation.
- iC2-Micro succeeds FC 51.
- Provide the wiring diagram and the list of functions used.
Hydraulic pumps and motors
Danfoss Power Solutions hydraulics serve mobile and industrial machinery. The range includes hydrostatic, gear, piston and vane pumps as well as hydraulic motors. Older units may carry Sauer-Danfoss markings; that company became wholly owned by Danfoss in 2013.
- Pumps: hydrostatic, gear, piston and vane.
- Hydraulic motors for mobile and industrial machines.
- Pump controls are matched to the unit number.
- Attach photos of the nameplate, flange and shaft.
PVG valves and PLUS+1 electronics
PVG proportional valves, DCV directional valves and ICS cartridge valves control flow in hydraulic systems. PLUS+1 electronics include controllers, displays, joysticks and sensors. A section or repair kit request needs the valve number and section configuration.
- Valves: PVG, DCV, ICS and HIC integrated circuits.
- PLUS+1: controllers, displays, joysticks, remotes, sensors.
- PVG 32 repair kits are quoted by kit number.
- For a controller, state the designation and software version.
Danfoss and BOCK compressors
Danfoss makes reciprocating and scroll compressors for refrigeration, air conditioning and heating, Danfoss BOCK compressors for transport and Turbocor compressors. Selection starts with the full nameplate designation and the refrigerant.
- Scroll and reciprocating compressors for refrigeration and AC.
- Danfoss BOCK compressors for transport systems.
- Danfoss acquired Maneurop Compressors in 1993.
- State refrigerant and voltage, attach a nameplate photo.
Valves, pressure switches and sensors
Danfoss controls for refrigeration and industrial systems include solenoid, thermostatic expansion, electronic expansion, check and regulating valves, pressure switches and thermostats, plus pressure and temperature sensors. Orders need the code number from the body or coil.
- Valves: solenoid, TXV, electronic expansion, regulating.
- MBS and MBT sensors for industry, ADAP-KOOL for refrigeration.
- Pressure switches, thermostats and liquid level switches.
- Valve coils are matched by code and voltage.
Steering, clutches and brakes
Power Solutions also covers hydraulic and electrohydraulic steering and Airflex industrial clutches and brakes. Airflex products are used in mining, marine, paper and metalworking. Requests are prepared from the nameplate and photographs of the assembly.
- Steering: hydraulic and electrohydraulic.
- Airflex: combination clutch-brakes, disc and drum brakes.
- TLC torque limiter couplings, parts and accessories.
- Friction elements need the size from the nameplate.
Hoses, fittings and cylinders
Danfoss makes hydraulic hoses and fittings, engine and air conditioning hoses, industrial and thermoplastic hoses, connectors and quick disconnect couplings. Cylinders are sold as Vickers by Danfoss. For a replacement, state the marking and connection dimensions.
- Hoses: hydraulic, industrial and thermoplastic.
- Connectors and quick disconnect couplings.
- Vickers by Danfoss cylinders: hydraulic, pneumatic, electrohydraulic.
- For a cylinder: stroke, diameters and mounting type.
Reading a drive nameplate
A Danfoss drive nameplate shows a type code, such as FC-302P7K5T5E20H1, and an ordering number. The type code encodes series, power, voltage and enclosure, so it matters more than the series name. Photograph the whole label without glare.
If the nameplate is damaged, send a photo of the drive information menu and of the housing with its connectors. For VACON, the type code from the menu and the list of installed boards help distinguish similar variants of the same power.
Board, panel or complete drive
When an assembly fails, compare two options: a separate board or panel, or a complete drive. For a board, state its designation and position. For an LCP panel, name the drive model it works with.
The repair decision belongs to your maintenance team or service provider. We quote both the assembly and a complete replacement so that lead time and scope can be compared.
Hydraulics: what to send
For a pump, motor or valve, provide the full designation and number from the nameplate, plus photos of the unit, flange, shaft and ports. For a PVG valve, list the order and type of sections, the actuation method and coil voltage.
If the nameplate is missing, add the main dimensions and a description of the machine. State whether a complete unit, a repair kit or a pump control is required.
Refrigeration controls and compressors
For a valve, switch or sensor, the code number from the body, coil or packaging and a photo of the marking are usually enough. For a coil, state the voltage. For a sensor, give the pressure range, connection and output signal.
For a compressor, provide the full marking, refrigerant, supply voltage and a description of the installation. If it is part of a packaged unit, attach a photo of the unit nameplate too.
Discontinued series
Some Danfoss drives are now listed as legacy. For FC 51, the manufacturer states limited spare parts availability and names a successor. For such series, first look for the same drive or assembly, then consider a current series.
When moving to a new series, keep the parameter set of the old drive, the wiring diagram and a description of the functions used. This shortens recommissioning after replacement.
What to send for selection
The minimum set is a nameplate photo, type code or ordering number, quantity and destination. For a faulty assembly, add a photo of the part and a short description of the failure. For hydraulics, add photos of the ports.
For several items, send a list with the marking of each one. This makes it easier to verify the scope and avoid mixing up similar variants during delivery.
Equipment for a new line or project
For a new project, start with the application: what the motor drives, whether it is a pump, fan or conveyor, the duty cycle and where the cabinet will be installed. For hydraulics, describe the machine, its functions and the required pressures and flows.
For refrigeration, state the site, refrigerant and operating mode.
Specify the supply network, enclosure protection requirements and communication interfaces with the control system. If a designer specification exists, attach it: selection against a ready specification is faster and more accurate than against a general description.
We propose series from the current manufacturer portfolio and note which parameters your designer should confirm before ordering. Discontinued models are not offered for new projects.
Limitations: this page does not confirm official Danfoss partner or dealer status, availability, price or lead time, part compatibility based on a series name, or substitution with other brands. These terms are verified for each request and stated in the quotation.
