MTC-3032 paper splice detector
The MTC-3032 capacitive detector identifies splices in paper. A replacement enquiry needs photographs of the sensing area and mounting location, material information and the connection to the control system.
- MTC-3032: capacitive splice detector
- Application: paper machinery
- Show the mounting and cable
- Describe the paper and signal conditions
MTC-4031 and motor control systems
MTC-4031 is an inverter controller. DUTT motor drive solutions combine control boards and power stacks for multiple motor machinery. A project or replacement enquiry should define motor type, duty and feedback devices.
- MTC-4031: inverter controller
- Control board and power stack work together
- Identify motors and feedback
- Provide the existing upgrade circuit
Identify DUTT and Montelec equipment
Start with the component identification: board label, front panel marking and power stack nameplate. Preserve every suffix and distinguish the component code from the machine serial number. Photograph its installed position and connect each attachment to a separate enquiry list item.
Keep Montelec and the complete MTC code for earlier boards. Add the rack position, electrical drawing and adjacent card list to identify the installed generation.
Select an INF or NFS power stack
Define whether the supply concerns a complete stack or a component inside it. Show DC connections, output terminals, cooling and the control cable. A new module project needs the load specification and electrical circuit, with the intended supply boundaries clearly marked.
Provide operating duty and cooling alongside the catalogue model. Identify retained devices and requested drivers, cooling parts or complete assemblies on the same cabinet drawing.
Match the driver to its IGBT assembly
A driver enquiry needs two identities: the full board code and the connected IGBT marking. Include suffixes, connectors, mounting photographs and the installed power assembly. Keep these photographs associated with one enquiry position when several drivers are required.
Preserve the existing driver variant and identify components changed during repairs. For repeat orders, provide the previous reference with current assembly photographs.
Define the PLC and application scope
For MTC-4000, DUTT-5000 or MTC-3000, provide the rack card list, network drawing and available application documentation. State the software version and the retained peripherals. Identify a CPU replacement separately from a new automation project or a change to the existing control architecture.
New projects need the automation task, I/O list and communications. Define program transfer and site work separately; for a stopped machine, include messages and recent changes.
Check rack supply and connected cards
Record the MTC-4013 or MTC-3044 identification and the connected rack configuration. Show the input supply drawing, front panel and connector. Keep the supply board, CPU and power stack as distinct list items even when they are located in the same cabinet.
For supply issues, include indicators, existing measurements and recent card or wiring changes. Complete assembly enquiries also need cables, interfaces and the list of retained components.
Separate fast counters from field interfaces
Identify the rack processing card and the field connection interface separately. For MTC-4002, add the installed MTC-4005 details. For MTC-4015, provide the actual interface and sensor list, preserving their codes and the signal routing shown in the machine drawings.
Describe signal functions and provide sensor or encoder connections. For upgrades, identify retained and new signals, their sources and destinations, using the machine drawing.
Provide the machine communication topology
An MTC-4014, MTC-2004 or MTC-2006 enquiry needs the protocol, linked devices and current node settings. Add a topology diagram and connector photographs. Associate communication requirements with the actual board rather than providing only the name of a network protocol.
For a replacement, retain project revisions and configuration files in the technical package. For new equipment, identify the controller and peripherals that must exchange data.
A reported connection issue also needs the error message, card indication and circumstances in which the communication changes.
Define rectification and braking equipment
For CTR or DB 814, provide the relevant power circuit section, full device code and installed location. Identify the supply, DC bus and connected load. A rectifier and a braking chopper perform different functions and should retain separate positions in the equipment specification.
A braking enquiry also needs resistor identification, stopping duty and control connections. List the device, resistor and connecting components individually when requesting a set. For a new operating duty, provide the load cycle and clearly mark which existing devices will remain in the cabinet.
Specify paper machinery and earlier boards
For a board in paper machinery, identify the machine manufacturer, model and electrical drawing. Preserve Montelec or DUTT markings directly from the component. List MTC-3000, MTC-3001 and the fast I/O boards separately so a cabinet name does not obscure the actual replacement scope.
An MTC-3032 enquiry needs the detector mounting and sensing area, paper information and control connection. Describe the splice and signal conditions when relevant.
A multi-machine maintenance list should retain separate cabinet references, quantities and supporting drawings for every requested assembly.
Prepare the supply and project package
Provide a cabinet overview, component identification, connectors and the drawing section with the required position marked. For removed equipment, add its former installation location. Keep each photograph attached to a list item with code, quantity, machine identity and required assembly scope.
A new system enquiry should include the load, operating duty, control requirements and cabinet arrangement. Add the delivery destination, documentation and packaging requirements.
Define programming, installation or commissioning assistance separately from the hardware supply, retaining a clear list of equipment and spare parts.
Availability, price, lead time, documents and compatibility are checked for the specific item. This page does not establish official dealership or authorised service status. Specifications apply to the named models; assembly scope and variant are checked against identification and documentation.
