- Items: cell connection busbars
- Fasteners identified by cell model
- Supply dimensions and connection layout
- Specify quantity and required kit
Selecting a cell, module or complete battery
Define the required delivery before comparing products. A loose cell belongs to a specified battery assembly; a module has its own enclosure and connections; a complete battery combines cells, controls and protection. A storage project also needs the system interfaces.
Explain whether your enquiry concerns a marked replacement component, an existing battery assembly or a new installation.
Replacement parts for an installed CALB battery
Provide the equipment model, battery identification and the marking of the component you need. Include photographs of the case, terminals, connectors and mounting position, together with the relevant documentation page.
If purchasing a module, provide its own nameplate separately from the markings on individual cells.
Describe the condition of the equipment and the findings of your technical specialist. Separate components requiring replacement from those remaining in the existing system.
A precise list supports the review of mechanical connections, electrical interfaces, control requirements and delivery contents before placing an order.
Electrical and mechanical selection data
Specify battery voltage, required capacity or energy, continuous and peak load, charging conditions and operating environment. For an installed assembly, add the series and parallel arrangement, available installation space, terminal positions and weight requirements.
Use the complete cell or module designation when comparing these inputs.
Capacity in ampere-hours is only one part of the specification; system energy also depends on voltage and configuration. Add the machine data to a request for the same capacity.
For a new project, include the load profile and available space so the proposed assembly follows the actual operating requirements.
LFP, LiFePO4 and NMC configurations
Use the chemistry identified in the documentation of the specific CALB cell or battery. LFP and LiFePO4 refer to lithium iron phosphate technology. For NMC or another lithium battery type, state the chemistry, charging conditions and control requirements.
Record the full installed cell designation, including letters and variant suffixes.
Compare replacements together with the battery assembly and charging equipment. Provide the existing specification, connection diagram and operating conditions.
When an enquiry uses an abbreviated name, a clear marking photograph helps identify the exact procurement item and the documents needed for its technical review.
BMS and communication interfaces
Battery management connects the cells, monitoring and protection functions. For an existing battery enquiry, include the BMS identification, system version, interface photographs and connection diagram.
A telecommunications module also needs information about the controller and the way it connects to the power rack.
An interface stated for one documented model belongs to that model. CALB identifies RS232 and RS485 for CA48V10Ah; another module needs its own interface information.
List the required control unit, power connections, communication cables, sensors and installation accessories as distinct procurement items where appropriate.
Stationary storage for an industrial site
Describe the purpose of storage: backup power, integration with generation or operation against a site load profile. Specify consumer power, required operating duration, grid conditions and installation location. If using an existing inverter, include its model and connection requirements.
An installed storage system also needs its own identification.
Define the delivery boundary. Battery cells, cabinets, inverter, controls and external connection work should appear clearly in the specification so offers can be compared.
Describe the requested installation support, commissioning scope, documents and interfaces with the site equipment as part of the project requirements.
Commercial vehicles and operating cycles
For a CALB traction battery, identify the vehicle, installed battery assembly and application. Describe the average load, working duration, planned breaks and charging facilities. Include the power diagram and photographs of mounting points and connectors.
For a vehicle fleet, specify quantities and differences between battery configurations.
For a spare battery, also describe storage and maintenance arrangements. A modernization enquiry should state the intended result and provide the original system information.
The technical comparison then follows the vehicle, charger and operating requirements supplied by the responsible equipment specialist.
Documents and incoming inspection
Useful enquiry documents include the specification, installation drawing, connection diagram and equipment manual. Define the identification and quantity for each item and list the required accessories.
State transport and use documentation as requirements of the order so the agreed package corresponds to the particular product and destination.
During incoming inspection, compare marking, quantity, enclosure, terminals and accessories with the agreed list. Keep a link between each package and its specification line.
For a complete system, include a component schedule and the documentation required to identify and maintain the delivered equipment.
Procurement and delivery scope
Send the complete item list, quantities and destination. Attach a project specification for a new installation or markings and photographs for a replacement.
We clarify the technical request and prepare an offer for the agreed items, separating loose cells, modules, complete batteries and installation accessories.
Preparing your CALB enquiry
Attach a readable marking photograph and an overall view of the product, with separate images of terminals and connectors. State the quantity, application and equipment using the battery. Copy the complete part number or factory code, including its letters, digits and suffix.
Availability, price, lead time and documents are clarified for the selected product. This page does not establish official dealer status or compatibility between batteries with the same capacity; replacements require a review of the specific configuration.
