Comprag compressors and air treatment

Select Comprag compressors, dryers and air treatment equipment for your installation. Send flow, pressure, site conditions or the full identity of an existing machine.

F screw compressors

The F family uses a belt drive. For an equipment replacement or drive component request, provide the complete model, operating pressure and photographs of the installed assembly.

  • Belt drive
  • Receiver-mounted versions
  • Versions with a dryer
  • F05, F07, F11, F15, F18, F22

FV variable-speed compressors

FV combines a belt drive with variable-speed control. Describe the air demand pattern for equipment selection and provide the component nameplate when requesting an electrical assembly.

  • Belt drive
  • Variable-speed control
  • Load and supply information
  • FV30, FV37, FV45, FV55, FV75, FV90

D direct-drive compressors

D is a direct-drive screw compressor family. Identify the installed machine and its configuration before requesting a drive assembly or an equipment replacement.

  • Direct drive
  • D family
  • Motor and airend photographs
  • D11, D15, D18, D22, D30, D37

DV variable-speed direct drive

DV combines direct drive and variable-speed operation. An equipment request needs air demand and pressure; a control component request also needs the installed version and connections.

  • Direct drive
  • Variable-speed operation
  • Air demand profile
  • DV11, DV15, DV18, DV22, DV30, DV55

RDX refrigerated air dryers

RDX uses refrigeration to dry compressed air. Select an installation by flow, inlet temperature, pressure and site conditions, checking the dew point for the particular configuration.

  • Refrigerated drying
  • RDX family
  • Inlet flow and temperature
  • Power supply and connection size

ADX-F adsorption dryers

ADX-F adsorption dryers have fixed cycles and preinstalled inlet and outlet filters. A desiccant or valve assembly request needs identification of the installed dryer.

  • Fixed drying cycles
  • Inlet prefilter
  • Outlet afterfilter
  • ADX-20, ADX-30, ADX-40, ADX-50

DFF compressed air filters

A DFF request needs both the size and filtration grade. DFF-P is a coarse particle filter. Specify a complete housing and a replacement element as separate order items.

  • Full DFF designation
  • DFF-P: coarse particle filtration
  • Housing or replacement element
  • Air flow and pipe connection

Filters, separators and maintenance parts

Begin a maintenance parts request with the compressor model and the removed component markings. List oil, separator, filters and a belt set as separate items.

  • Model and serial number
  • Filter and separator photographs
  • Oil specification
  • Belt size and quantity

Planning a compressed air installation

Begin with a list of the production machines that consume compressed air. State the flow required by each consumer, operating pressure, simultaneous operation and the number of shifts. A drawing of the current network and readings from the installed compressor help describe a normal working day.

Record occasional peak demand as well as long periods of low consumption, so the request reflects how the site actually operates.

Distinguish rated compressor output from the plant demand you need to meet. Identify whether the task is replacing a machine, expanding capacity or changing the air treatment system.

For F, FV, D and DV enquiries, specify electrical supply, installation constraints and the intended equipment package. Include an existing machine nameplate when replacing equipment.

This gives the selection a clear technical starting point and allows the proposed configuration to be compared with your site requirements.

Requesting filters and oil separators

Identify where the filter operates: the compressor intake, the oil circuit or the compressed air main. Photograph the markings, housing and connection. A replacement element enquiry should include dimensions and the mounting arrangement.

If the label is damaged, photograph the removed component beside a ruler and provide the compressor identification. Keep each image associated with its machine when several units are being serviced.

An oil separator, an intake filter and an oil filter perform different functions. List them separately and state the quantity and required package. For a DFF filter, retain the complete designation including its letter suffix.

Specify whether you need the entire filter housing or the removable element. If a maintenance set is required, provide the parts list from the machine documentation and indicate which components are already available at your site.

Choosing air drying and treatment

An air dryer enquiry starts with operating conditions at the installation point. Provide pressure, flow, inlet air temperature, room temperature and the required pressure dew point. For a replacement, include the full identity of the old dryer and describe changes in the production process.

State the pipe connection, electrical supply and location of the drainage connection, with photographs when available.

RDX and ADX-F use different drying principles, so describe the process requirement before choosing a family. Include filtration and condensate removal in the scope of the installation. For a desiccant, valve or filter replacement, identify the installed dryer and the component concerned.

Record the maintenance history relevant to the request. Treat the complete dryer, replacement material and individual assemblies as separate order items, with an agreed quantity for each.

Receivers and condensate drainage

For an air receiver, specify the required volume, operating pressure, port positions, mounting location and documents needed by your facility. A simple layout showing the compressor, dryer, filters and drains helps define the package.

Mark which existing components will remain in service and which ones are being purchased. Include installation clearances and any connection constraints that influence the proposed configuration.

The ED condensate drain uses electronic level control. For selection or replacement, provide its full marking, connection size, pressure and installation point. Add the electrical supply and photographs of the connections.

Identify whether the order concerns a complete drain or a particular assembly. Receiver, filter and dryer drains should be shown separately on the drawing, with quantities linked to their actual installation points and the intended delivery package.

Drive components and electrical controls

Identify the mechanical configuration before ordering a drive component. For a belt arrangement, provide belt markings, the number of belts, pulley photographs and the installation location. For a direct drive machine, photograph the motor and airend area.

A motor request needs its own nameplate, electrical ratings and mounting details as well as the compressor identity. State whether the enquiry is for an assembly or a single component.

For a controller, sensor, frequency converter or another electrical assembly, provide the component label, version and wiring information. Describe the fault indication and the operating conditions when it appears.

A screen photograph helps identify the request, while terminal and board photographs clarify the installed version. Have the plant maintenance specialist prepare electrical inspection information. Include any relevant instruction page so component selection can be tied to a documented position.

Information to include in a Comprag enquiry

Send an overall photograph of the machine, a readable nameplate and a close image of the requested component. Add model, serial number, part designation, quantity and a brief description of the task.

When only a position number is known, include the instruction page showing that position and the assembly name. Label photographs by machine if the enquiry covers several installations or different compressor versions.

For equipment, specify flow, pressure, supply voltage, site conditions and the required package. For spare parts, specify the component designation and its installation position. Add the delivery destination and document requirements to the same enquiry.

If the task contains both new equipment and maintenance parts for an existing machine, split the two groups in the list. This helps keep technical clarification focused and makes the resulting specification easier to check.

Replacing equipment and agreeing the package

Before replacing a compressor, compare the electrical and air connections, dimensions, service access and position of the surrounding equipment. Mark doors, passages, ventilation and existing pipework on the installation plan.

For a receiver-mounted package or an installation with a dryer, list each component that will be retained and each component to be replaced. These details establish the practical boundaries of the supply request.

The proposed package separates the compressor, dryer, receiver, filters, drains and spare parts. Each item should have an agreed model or technical designation, configuration and quantity. This allows the delivered package to be checked against the plant layout and the purchase specification.

Discuss site preparation, connection and commissioning arrangements with the facility specialists before placing the order. Provide drawings or photographs for connection interfaces that differ from the existing installation.

Preparing a maintenance parts list

Planned service parts can be grouped in one list while keeping the identity of every machine. State operating hours, required items and quantities. Separate regular maintenance consumables from assemblies requested because of a fault.

If some components are already held in your warehouse, identify only the outstanding requirement. Keep a reference to the technical specification used for each machine and each requested maintenance package.

For lubricant, send the requirement from the operating instructions or the specification of the previously used product. For a service kit, state its contents by item. Retain the markings from removed filters and separators until the agreed order has been checked.

Record the supplied component designations and keep the final packing list for the next service of that machine. For warehouse stock, link quantities to the intended compressor configurations and maintenance plan.

Availability, price, delivery schedule, certificates and warranty conditions are clarified with the quotation. Official dealership and component interchangeability require specific verification.
