SDM230-LoRa P2P
A 1P2W single-phase 100 A meter with LoRa Point-to-Point and two pulse outputs. Describe meter and receiver locations; P2P and LoRaWAN represent different communication arrangements.
Eastron — equipment and components
Specify Eastron equipment for multi-circuit metering and remote monitoring. Send the number of metering points, network layout and the requirements of the receiving platform.
A table linking each metering point to its device, interface and data destination helps define the project. It separates measurement hardware from communication and software requirements. For a single replacement, include the existing protocol and data format in the specification.
A 1P2W single-phase 100 A meter with LoRa Point-to-Point and two pulse outputs. Describe meter and receiver locations; P2P and LoRaWAN represent different communication arrangements.
LoRaWAN variants include single-phase SDM320C-LR and three-phase SDM530-LR. The former lists a digital input and the latter a pulse output. Define the gateway, frequency plan and receiving server for the project.
Single-phase and three-phase 100 A versions with Wi-Fi and Tuya APP support. State the local network, application and user-access requirements when defining the monitoring arrangement.
A meter for four three-phase loads with Ethernet TCP/IP and 100 mA / 100 mV CT inputs. Specify the circuit count, external sensor type and channel assignment in the project.
Two Ethernet Modbus TCP/IP configurations: SDM630MCT-TCP uses 1 A / 5 A CT inputs, while SDM630-TCP provides 100 A direct connection. Base the choice on the power circuit as well as the network interface.
Product groups for energy management and multi-circuit metering. Define the monitored incomers, feeders, panels and equipment, then provide the required signal list and polling interval.
For consumption metering, start with SDM or DCM and define AC or DC operation and the connection method. Consider Smart X when the project requires network parameters and harmonic readings. If the instrument stays in place but an external sensor needs replacing, use the current-transformer group.
An ESP gateway transports data already measured by another device. The monitoring group covers projects with multiple measurement points. Time-delay and weekly-schedule tasks belong to ESRD and ESRS. This separates the required device from its function in the wider installation.
Photograph the front and side identification, terminal markings and the installation space. Transcribe the full model suffix. If the circuit includes CTs or a shunt, identify those components separately; the meter name alone does not define the complete measurement set.
State whether you need one instrument, a set with sensors or equipment for several identical panels. Describe an observed failure such as a blank display, missing communication or inconsistent readings. This helps distinguish a replacement purchase from a measurement-chain investigation.
Separate the primary current from the signal reaching the instrument. Inputs rated at 1 A / 5 A, 40 mA, 100 mA, 100 mV and Rogowski-coil inputs require the corresponding sensors. The power-circuit current rating alone does not specify the instrument variant.
For RS485, provide the protocol, addresses, speed and communication format. For Ethernet, define the device role and receiving system. List the meters, sensors, connecting cables, converters and mounting items actually required as separate entries in the scope of supply.
For an inverter, identify the exact model, software version and meter location in the power diagram. Include the supported-device list from the inverter documentation where available. Compatibility assessment concerns the specific device pair, including registers and energy-flow direction.
For a charging station, state AC or DC operation, the working range and power connection. Add any need for a separate display or multiple communication ports. Compare market-specific variants using the complete ordering code and project documentation.
Send the ordering code or photographs, required quantity and delivery destination. If identification is incomplete, include the relevant wiring-diagram section and explain the device function. For a new installation, provide a specification with a separate line for each instrument type.
The quotation should be compared with the requested variant and set contents. State whether an alternative may be proposed for engineering review. For multiple panels, distinguish the quantity per panel from the total procurement quantity.
Availability, price, lead time, compatibility and included components are confirmed for the selected variant after reviewing the request. No authorized-dealer status is claimed. MID, UL/ETL or PTB/Eichrecht identification must be checked against the exact instrument and project requirements.
