Sandhog face milling cutters 40–315 mm

Sandhog face milling cutters are described by the manufacturer as double-sided helical designs: body diameter 40–315 mm in 10 sizes, with square double-sided inserts of 8 cutting edges and octagonal inserts of 16. Sandhog 90° cutter for ANKX inserts

This cutter produces a square corner between the face and the shoulder wall, so it is used where a clean vertical shoulder is required rather than the radius left by a standard face mill. Sandhog turning inserts are carbide replaceable inserts with a PVD coating and a chipbreaker; the manufacturer positions them for semi-finishing and finishing of carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel and heat-resistant alloys. Sandhog milling inserts (ONMU, SNMU, ANKX, APMT)

Sandhog milling inserts are described by the manufacturer as multilayer PVD-coated and are placed in the submicron grain class. Confirmed series: ONMU, SNMU, ANKX, APMT, APKT, 3PKT, LOGU, LNMU, R390 and BLMP. What the official pages do not disclose: CE, ISO, EAEU and TR TS certificates, warranty terms and duration, prices, lead times and payment terms; no certificate of origin is published as an official declaration; no official dealers or representations in Russia and the CIS are declared. Specifications for specific series and items are confirmed against the manufacturer's documentation during selection.

The material drives the choice of version — the manufacturer names steel, alloy and stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium, copper and copper alloys, heat-resistant alloys and composites. State the machine, the tool holding method and the available coolant pressure: for U-drills and solid carbide drills with internal coolant supply this is a defining figure, not a secondary one. For holders you will need the shank cross-section, the clamping type and the insert designation; for cutters the diameter, the number of pockets and the required surface finish; for inserts the shape, nose radius and chipbreaker class.
