Select a Dunkermotoren motor or complete drive from the application, full designation and documentation. Specify the gearbox, controls, feedback and mounting as one configuration.

BG 45 brushless DC motors

BG 45 is a brushless DC motor family with dCore, dGo, dMove and dPro versions. Select the complete designation, then identify the controls and mechanical components required for the assembly. For a replacement, keep the suffix from the existing motor rather than shortening it to the family name.

Versions: BG 45 dCore, dGo, dMove and dPro.
dPro has CO/IO and PN/EC/EI variants.
A configuration may include a gearbox, brake and encoder.
Specify the supply and connection details.

BG 65 and BG 66 motors

BG 65 and BG 66 are separate brushless DC motor families. BG 65 includes dCore and dMove; BG 66 also includes dPro. Keep both the family number and control suffix in the request. Describe the required motor, transmission and electrical connections separately when ordering a complete unit.

BG 75 and BG 95 drives

BG 75 and BG 95 offer different electronics versions within the brushless motor range. Preserve the full control designation, including an older generation suffix when present. Add the gearbox, brake and feedback requirements to the list so that a complete drive can be compared with the installed configuration.

BG 75: dCore, dMove and dPro.

Retain an existing generation suffix.
List each additional component of the assembly.

GR 30, GR 42 and GR 53 motors

GR/G denotes brushed DC motors. The range includes GR 30, GR 30 S, GR 42x25, GR 42x40, GR 53x30 and GR 53x58. Select a motor alone or specify it as part of a geared assembly. A legible label and a photo of the output connection help identify the unit being requested.

GR/G uses brushed commutation.
GR 42 variants include x25 and x40.
GR 53 variants include x30 and x58.
Provide the quantity and application.

GR 63 and GR 80 motors

The range includes GR 63x25, GR 63x55, GR 63Sx55, GR 80x40 and GR 80x80. Separate the motor designation from the name of the machine or mechanism. Read the gearbox label independently, and include the complete article number when several versions of the same motor family are possible.

GR 63: x25, x55 and Sx55.

PLG planetary gearboxes

PLG is Dunkermotoren's planetary gearbox family, including sizes PLG 42, PLG 52, PLG 63 and PLG 75 with letter suffixes. Specify the full gearbox designation, transmission ratio and output connection. For an assembly, identify the motor as well, so that the mechanical and electrical scope stays clear.

PLG 42: K and S.
PLG 52: EB and HT; PLG 63: EP and HT.
PLG 75: SL, EP and HT; PLG 95 HT is also listed.
Check the ratio and output shaft.

SG, KG and STG angular gearboxes

Angular transmission options include SG worm gearboxes, KG bevel gearboxes and Spirotec STG. The position of the output shaft relative to the motor is part of the selection. Provide shaft details, flange information and the mounting location, then describe which parts of the transmission are included in the order.

SG families: 45, 62, 80 and 120.
SG 80 includes H and K variants.
KG families: 80, 120 and 150.
Spirotec: STG 65 and 65H.

NG hub gearboxes

NG 250, NG 500 and NG 1000 WO are grouped as hub gearboxes. Start with the transmission designation and the mechanism in which it operates. Keep the WO suffix where present, identify the connection to the motor and list the wheel separately if it forms part of the requested supply.

Families: NG 250, NG 500 and NG 1000 WO.
Retain WO when shown on the designation.
List wheel and gearbox separately as required.
Check mounting and the motor connection.

BGE controllers and electronics

External BGE controllers are selected with the motor and control requirements. The product list includes BGE 5510 dPro, BGE 8060 dPro and BGE 6000 family variants. Use the complete designation to identify the required electronics and connections, and attach the motor information and the relevant wiring diagram.

BGE 5510 dPro: CO/IO and PN/EC/EI.
BGE 8060 dPro: CO/IO and PN/EC/EI.
Other variants: BGE 6005A, 6010A, 6015A and 6060A.

Encoders and feedback

Dunkermotoren's system includes incremental, absolute and magnetic encoders. AE is an absolute encoder family and MR a magnetic encoder family. Specify the feedback type, complete designation, connection arrangement and required resolution. When ordering a motor assembly, make the feedback device an explicit part of the configuration.

AE: absolute encoder family.

Motor brakes

A brake is a separate configuration component for BG or GR/G motors. The standard power-off type holds when power is removed and releases when current is applied. The manufacturer also describes power-on operation. Identify the operating principle from the installed unit's documentation and include any encoder in the assembly list.

Power-off: braking with power removed.
Power-on: braking when voltage is applied.
Brake and encoder may share one configuration.

Linear drives and electric cylinders

The linear range includes direct linear drives, CAHB/CASM electric cylinders and spindle drives. Specify travel, load and mounting requirements rather than treating the unit as a rotary motor. Include the full existing designation for a replacement, and state which connections and accessories should be supplied with a new configuration.

Choose the scope of the drive

Dunkermotoren GmbH manufactures modular electric drives. A request can cover an individual motor, a gearbox or a complete configuration. Start by describing the movement and the required assembly, then identify the components that belong to the order. This keeps a motor-only quotation separate from a complete drive quotation.

Read the complete designation

The family name identifies a product group, while the complete designation and article number distinguish the requested variant. Keep letters, numbers, spaces and suffixes as they appear on the label. If the motor and gearbox have separate labels, photograph each and attach an overall view of the assembly.

Check mechanics and mounting

Describe the shaft, flange, output orientation and the point at which the drive connects to the mechanism. A photo of the connection or an installation drawing is useful alongside the product label. Specify the gearbox ratio where it is available and distinguish the required motor from the rest of the transmission.

Specify supply and control

Provide the supply voltage from the documentation, the power arrangement and the way the drive receives commands. Retain dCore, dGo, dMove or dPro in the designation. For CO/IO or PN/EC/EI variants, attach the relevant connection information so that the controls can be checked with the motor configuration.

Include feedback and the brake

State whether the installed drive uses an incremental, absolute or magnetic encoder. Keep the exact encoder designation and connection details in the configuration list. When a brake is fitted, identify its operating principle from the documentation and explain whether it is part of the assembly being ordered.

Order replacement components

An enquiry can cover a single labelled component or a list of maintenance items. For each line, give the full code, quantity and the machine or assembly to which it belongs. Mark the relevant item on a drawing when the component has no legible label. Add an overall photo to show its position.

Parts for an installed drive

For an individual component, provide the full article number, quantity and assembly model. Add a label photo or mark the item on a drawing. List the motor, gearbox, controller, encoder and brake separately according to the requested supply.
