BP Series Press Brakes

BP series hydraulic press brakes form sheet between a punch and a die. CNC versions calculate the bend and compensate for ram deflection, which matters for long parts and repeatable series.

The range spans 33-ton machines with a 63-inch bed up to 224-ton models with a 13-foot bed, so the configuration is selected for the part rather than the other way round.

Useful for sizing: material grade and thickness, bend length, required radius, die opening and the tooling shank type.

SH Series Shears

SH series hydraulic shears cut sheet in a single straight stroke. The model code sets working width and capacity: SH-5210 is 52 inches at 10 gauge, SH-6014 is 60 inches at 14 gauge, and the heavy-duty SH-5210-HD handles thicker plate.

For a production line the cut length, hold-down and back gauge accuracy matter most.

State material thickness and grade, cut length, required back gauge accuracy and planned shift load.

Band Saws

Baileigh Industrial builds horizontal, vertical and combination band saws. Horizontal models cut bar, profile and tube with roller feed; vertical machines handle contour work on a table.

The BSV-24VS-V2 vertical saw accepts blades from 3 to 16 mm wide and varies cutting speed from 85 to 2200 feet per minute.

Sizing needs the workpiece profile and material, section and cut length, throughput requirement and how much feed automation is expected.

Tube and Pipe Benders

RDB series hydraulic benders draw tube and profile to a set radius; mandrel machines add an internal mandrel to keep the section round on tight radii. Mechanical models suit one-off bends, hydraulic machines suit repeatable series. EB-300 machines are built specifically for exhaust systems.

Give the outside diameter and wall thickness, material, required centreline radius and number of bends per part.

Slip Rolls, Roll Benders and Box Brakes

SR series slip rolls form sheet to a radius between rollers; the powered SR-5016 and SR-5016E cover a 50-inch working length. PR series hydraulic plate rolls and R-H roll benders take thicker plate and profile. BB series box and pan brakes form boxes, pans and flanges.

Sizing needs blank length, thickness and steel grade, required radius and the final part shape.

Ironworkers

Ironworkers punch holes and cut angle, flat bar and profile on one frame. The hydraulic SW-95 and the manual SW-22M-P with a punch station cover different volumes: the first handles continuous load, the second suits a workshop or site work. Multi-station SW-623 models add dedicated work positions.

State the profile and thickness, hole diameters, number of work stations required and the duty cycle.

CNC Plasma Tables

CNC plasma tables cut sheet from a nest. Versions differ by working area, water table or down-draft extraction, and drive configuration: the PT-105HD-V2 offers a 125 by 64 inch envelope. For production nesting the plasma source, gantry accuracy and fume extraction matter most.

Sizing needs maximum sheet size, thickness and material, the plasma source and extraction requirements.

Notchers, Cold Saws and Grinders

A separate line covers preparation and finishing: notchers for corner cut-outs in sheet, CS cold saws for accurate tube and profile cuts, and disc or belt grinders for edge and weld cleanup.

State material thickness, the required cut-out or cutting angle, and how the edge has to be finished.

Woodworking Machines

Beyond metal, Baileigh Industrial builds woodworking and joinery machines: BDTM series dovetailers, saws and sanders. They are used in furniture production and in shops that prepare jigs, crates and tooling.

For selection state the joint or operation, workpiece dimensions and required throughput.

Components and Wear Parts

For installed machines we supply the parts that wear: shear blades, punches and dies, saw blades and blade guides, bending rollers and mandrels, hydraulic pumps and valves, control boards and operator panels. A marking from the part plus the machine model is enough to start.

Attach a photo of the part marking and the relevant page of the parts list if you have it.

Data needed to select equipment

Material and thickness, workpiece size and weight, required operation, accuracy and repeatability, planned shift load and available floor area.

Components for an installed machine

Machine model and serial number, the position marking from the parts list, and quantity. Photos of the marking help tie the component to a machine build.

How to define the right configuration

Baileigh Industrial builds equipment for sheet and tube forming, cutting and processing, plus woodworking machines. Model codes start with a series prefix: BP for press brakes, SH for shears, SR for slip rolls, RDB for tube benders, BS and BSV for band saws, SW for ironworkers.

Within a series the number sets tonnage and working size. A BP-22413CNC press brake is rated 224 tons with a 13-foot bed; an SH-5210 shear cuts 52 inches at 10 gauge; an SR-5016 slip roll covers a 50-inch working length.

Copy the full model code, serial number and year from the machine plate: they identify the manual edition and the matching parts list.

Sheet bending: press brake or slip roll

A press brake forms an angle along a straight line and suits boxes, brackets and flanges. A slip roll forms sheet to a radius between rollers and is used for shells and cylindrical parts.

For a press brake the deciding factors are bend length, material grade and thickness, required radius and die opening. For a slip roll they are blank length, finished shell diameter and steel thickness.

If a part needs both radii and straight bends, the two operations are sized separately: one machine does not replace the other kinematically.

Sheet cutting and nesting

A shear makes a straight cut in one stroke with an accurate back gauge position. A CNC plasma table nests parts from a program and removes the need to mark out complex contours by hand.

SH series shears differ by working length and capacity: SH-5210 cuts 52 inches at 10 gauge, SH-6014 cuts 60 inches at 14 gauge.

A plasma table is chosen by working envelope and fume extraction. The PT-105HD-V2 offers a 125 by 64 inch envelope; the plasma source is matched to thickness and material.

Sawing: profile, tube, bar

Horizontal band saws cut stock with roller feed and handle bar, profile and tube. Vertical machines work on contours with the part on a table.

Cutting speed and blade pitch follow the material and wall thickness. The BSV-24VS-V2 vertical saw takes blades from 3 to 16 mm and varies speed from 85 to 2200 feet per minute.

CS cold saws cut accurate angles and often replace a band saw where a clean edge is needed before welding or further machining.

Tube and profile bending

A hydraulic bender draws tube to a set radius; an internal mandrel keeps the section round on tight radii. Mechanical models suit one-off bends.

The RDB-150 is a hydraulic tube bender; EB-300 machines are built for exhaust systems. Sizing needs outside diameter, wall thickness, material and bends per part.

R-H roll benders and PR plate rolls handle profile and thicker metal where a radius is needed over a long length.

What to confirm before ordering

Define the operation, material, workpiece size and required accuracy. Record repeatability separately: one-off parts and series production place different demands on the drive and the control system.

Check the shop floor: available area, ceiling height, power supply, compressed air and how chips and fumes will be removed.

List the documents that must arrive with the machine: manual, data sheet, diagrams, accessory list.

Tooling and wear parts

A press brake needs punches and dies with their clamping; a shear needs blades and hold-down elements; a saw needs blades and blade guides; a tube bender needs rollers, dies and mandrels.

Tooling is selected from the part parameters rather than the machine model alone: die opening and radius for bending, blade pitch and width for sawing, diameter and radius for tube bending.

Wear items — hydraulics, drives, bearings, belts, control boards and operator panels — are supplied as separate positions by their parts list marking.

Diagnostics, repair and modernisation

Describe the machine behaviour: it will not hold the angle, the blade wanders, an axis moves in steps, pressure drops, the control reports an error. List the checks already made.

For works add model and serial number, tooling condition and accuracy requirements. The scope of diagnostics and repair is agreed per request.

Modernisation covers the control system, drives and feed units; the decision follows the actual condition of the machine.

What we do not confirm

We do not state dealer status, stock, price, lead time, certificates or compatibility in advance: document scope and applicability to a specific machine are confirmed when the selected item is quoted.
