Compact BP2510/3210/4010
BP2510 is rated for 150–350 kg/h and 40–50 mm briquettes; BP3210 for 400–600 kg/h and 60 mm; BP4010 for 500–750 kg/h and 60 mm. For supply, we compare the specific model line with the required throughput, product shape and feed composition.
BP3210 and BP4010 both form 60 mm briquettes, but their throughput ranges differ. Continuous feeding of prepared raw material must match the selected capacity; a standalone press does not replace coordination of the silo, dosing, cooling and control cabinet within the line.
We check access to the feed system and service points. Selection also covers installation space, power supply, shift pattern and expected material flow, so the compact press does not become the constraint for the whole line.
We confirm capacity reserve and actual raw-material moisture before fixing the configuration.
BP5000/5510 and HD
BP5000 has a capacity of 700–1200 kg/h and produces 75 mm briquettes. BP5510 delivers 850–1400 kg/h, with 75 mm or 65×65 mm square briquettes; BP5510/HD versions are specified with 45/55 kW motors.
We select the drive and press chamber by model and configuration, rather than treating BP5000–5510 as one group. The twin-feed system is intended to provide a more even flow of lightweight material.
BP6510/7010/7510
BP6510: 900–2300 kg/h; BP7010: 1300–2500 kg/h; BP7510: 1400–3500 kg/h. BP6510/HD uses 55/75 kW motors.
BP6510 uses 90/100 mm or 75×75 mm formats, BP7010 uses 90–100 mm or 75×75/85×85 mm, and BP7510 uses 90–120 mm or 85×85/90×90 mm. Each press chamber is checked separately.
Industrial and consumer throughput
For BP5510, the industrial range is 900–1400 kg/h and the consumer range is 850–1200; for BP6510, the ranges are 1200–2300 and 900–1500. The calculation considers bulk density, particle size, moisture and the required briquette density.
The lower consumer range requires the product shape, density, raw material and cooling to be checked together. For an industrial product, stable long-duration feeding is more important.
Cutting, packaging and cooling are coordinated with the selected shape; achievable capacity depends on the actual material and product, rather than applying the maximum to every mixture.
When comparing BP5510 and BP6510, we record the product purpose and actual operating point separately: the same briquette shape does not make the operating modes and peripheral equipment interchangeable.
We confirm the operating point on a test batch instead of transferring a nameplate maximum to another composition.
Press tooling
The die, piston and replaceable ring form a matched system. The brochure describes round and square briquettes, with or without a central hole; geometry and fits are checked for the specific chamber.
For replacement, we assess working surfaces and the result of a control batch rather than selecting the ring separately from the die and piston. Tooling must match the product shape and raw material.
BPU package
The BPU 2023 package includes a press, 0.4 m³ buffer silo, dosing screw, control cabinet and cables; a moisture-mixing unit may be optional. BPU3200/4000/5000 have 22/30/37 kW motors; BPU3200 measures 2.3×1.3×2.2 m, while BPU4000/5000 measure 2.9×1.4×2.6 m.
A complete BPU coordinates the peripherals with the press, whereas a standalone BP3210 requires separate checks of the site, silo, feed, power and cooling. Before testing on the raw material, we agree the installation position, power connection, even flow, buffer volume and service access.
The BPU also provides monitoring, control and operating/message logs. Site selection includes the transport clearance, cabinet access, product discharge direction and the ability to reproduce the factory feed sequence on the actual material.
Dimensions are checked against the transport route and service access; motor power is matched to the electrical supply. For the BPU2023 configuration, approximate masses are 4100 kg for BPU3200, 5500 kg for BPU4000 and 5600 kg for BPU5000.
BPU5510/HD is approximately 5500 kg and BPU6510/HD approximately 6600 kg; the last two configurations are about 3.8×1.75×3.0 m. These figures support planning vehicle access, transport routes, clearances and placement; the permissible load on the foundation is determined by the installation design.
Mobile package
The mobile installation is based on a 20-foot container; the package includes the press, silo, feed system, cabinet, cables and 15 m of cooling lines. Cooling placement is determined by the site layout.
After relocation, we check anchoring, power, raw-material flow, connection points, service access and product stability under load. The package layout is not replaced by the specification of a standalone press.
BBCS, ABCS and Siemens PLC
For BP5510/6510, BBCS has a 5.7-inch panel and ABCS an optional 10.4-inch colour panel; the BPU uses a Siemens PLC. The system supports monitoring, control and searching messages/faults, including remote control and programming according to the configuration documentation.
We check the panel version, sensors, cables and interlocks against the cabinet diagram, separating a signal problem from a mechanical press limitation.
For supply, we record which panel and program belong to the specific cabinet; mechanical guarding, drive and press chamber are checked separately from PLC signals so that a software error does not conceal a physical feed or unit limitation.
When handing over the project, we retain the input, output and safety-circuit diagram and the safe-stop sequence.
Moisture and raw-material preparation
The BPU brochure states 6–16% moisture for industrial product and 10–12% for consumer product; a moisture-mixing unit may be available.
These conditions apply to the configurations described. For supply, we match raw-material preparation, dosing and density to the selected model.
BP5510/6510 drive and lubrication
BP5510/6510 are specified with twin feeding, a high-strength steel body on a reinforced concrete foundation, two heavy flywheels, fibreglass protective covers and internal pressure lubrication.
When selecting equipment, we coordinate the foundation, space around the body, access to flywheels, covers, supports and the lubrication circuit; vibration and heat are assessed as part of the feed system and press chamber.
Installation leaves access for inspecting covers and supports, and commissioning compares drive behaviour during even feeding with the warmed-up operating regime rather than replacing a check with an arbitrary part change.
We check guarding of rotating parts and safe maintenance access under the service procedure.
Cooling and cutting
A BP5510/6510 line may include 10–30 m of cooling, a cooler and a BS350 saw. Briquette discharge speed, cooling and saw operation are coordinated to maintain a consistent cut length.
Acceptance checks the post-press flow, cooling stability, cut and product on working material; these elements are coordinated with the line layout and connections.
