NACORR series rust inhibitors

King Industries NACORR rust inhibitors are calcium, barium and zinc dinonylnaphthalene sulfonate complexes. They form hydrophobic barrier layers at the metal primer interface, preventing underfilm corrosion in aggressive industrial environments.

  • Proven liquid additives including NACORR 1151, 1389, 1552 and 1618
  • Improved salt spray resistance and blister protection on steel and alloys
  • Full compatibility with epoxy, alkyd, acrylic and polyurethane primers
  • Uniform substrate wetting without compromising intercoat finish adhesion

NA-SUL series sulfonate rust inhibitors

King Industries NA-SUL alkylnaphthalene sulfonate additives provide neutral and basic calcium, barium, zinc and sodium chemistries. They provide steel and yellow metal protection with rapid demulsibility and thermal stability in industrial lubricants.

  • Recognized formulations including NA-SUL BSN, CA-1082, ZS and EDS
  • Rapid water separation performance in circulating and turbine oil systems
  • Reliable protection of steel bearings, gears and hydraulic pump components
  • High thermal stability and low sludge formation under heavy factory loads

NA-LUBE KR series synthetic base fluids

King Industries NA-LUBE KR alkylated naphthalenes are API Group V synthetic fluids. They enhance blend solvency, thermal stability and hydrolytic resistance when formulated with polyalphaolefins, synthetic esters and hydrocracked base stocks.

  • Viscosity grades including NA-LUBE KR-008, KR-015, KR-019 and food grade KR-006FG
  • Superior oxidation stability extending oil drain intervals in factory machinery
  • Seal swell balance preventing leakage in high pressure hydraulic circuits
  • Synergistic compatibility with antiwear additives and rust inhibitors

Identification of King Industries catalysts and chemical grades

Technical selection of King Industries specialty additives requires verified parameters from product documentation. Inquiries should specify exact product grade codes such as NACURE 1051, 2500, K-KAT XK-672, XK-614 or NA-SUL BSN and CA-1082 alongside chemical foundation and binder resin matrices.

Submitting safety data sheets (SDS) and technical data sheets (TDS) ensures exact matching of active contents, acid values, density and solvent types across industrial production lots.

Selection of NACURE acid catalysts for thermal cure finishes

Selecting NACURE acid catalysts depends on baking line temperatures and crosslinker chemistry.

For standard melamine formaldehyde and benzoguanamine resins, unblocked catalysts based on dinonylnaphthalene sulfonic acid (DNNSA) or p-toluene sulfonic acid (p-TSA) deliver rapid response from 120 degrees Celsius.

In low temperature baking enamels and high package stability formulations, amine blocked grades (NACURE 2500, 5225) prevent premature reaction during warehouse storage.

Substitution of organotin compounds with K-KAT catalysts

Transitioning from traditional dibutyltin dilaurate to environmentally friendly K-KAT metal complex catalysts relies on metal selectivity.

Chelate complexes of bismuth, zirconium and zinc (K-KAT XK-672, XK-614, 348) accelerate polyol isocyanate hydroxyl reactions without triggering moisture side reactions. This eliminates micro-bubbling in thick polyurethane coatings, sealants and elastomeric parts while maintaining pot life.

Application of NA-SUL sulfonate rust inhibitors in lubricants

King Industries NA-SUL sulfonate additives are blended into industrial, circulating, turbine and compressor oils to form hydrophobic barrier films on metal surfaces.

Neutral and overbased dinonylnaphthalene sulfonates based on calcium (NA-SUL CA-1082) and barium (NA-SUL BSN) demonstrate thermal stability without forming sticky deposits. They provide rapid demulsibility under ASTM D1401 to prevent emulsions in heavy hydraulic circuits.

Formulating NA-LUBE KR Group V synthetic base fluids

NA-LUBE KR alkylated naphthalenes (grades KR-008, KR-015, KR-019) serve as modifiers for synthetic lubricants based on polyalphaolefins and hydrocracked base oils.

Adding 10 to 20 percent alkylated naphthalene enhances additive solubility, reduces varnish tendencies and controls elastomer seal swell. NA-LUBE KR fluids exhibit resistance to thermal degradation and moisture hydrolysis, extending oil service intervals in heavy industrial gearboxes.

Incoming quality inspection and manufacturer COA verification

Every industrial delivery of King Industries additives is shipped in factory packaging: 190 to 200 kg steel drums, 18 to 20 kg pails or bulk IBC containers. Shipments include a manufacturer Certificate of Analysis (COA) confirming batch lot numbers, production dates and laboratory test results.

Receiving quality checks inspect appearance, color, density at 25 degrees Celsius, kinematic viscosity and non-volatile matter before factory batch release.
