TRINTFAR resistance welding

Source TRINTFAR resistance welding equipment and components for your production task. Send a workpiece drawing, process requirements or the identification of an installed machine.

MFDC spot and projection welding

TRINTFAR uses medium frequency inverter technology with rectification in the secondary circuit. Identify the installed machine before selecting its electrodes, transformer or controller.

  • Spot and projection joints
  • Inverter and welding transformer
  • Controller label and circuit diagram

DR-3000 capacitor discharge welding

The DR-3000 stores energy in capacitors and discharges it through a welding transformer. Component selection requires identification of the charging unit, capacitor assembly and machine.

  • Stored energy discharge process
  • Exact electrical assembly designation
  • Machine manual and circuit diagram

Nut projection welding

The fastener, feed mechanism, electrodes and fixture must be considered together. Specify the nut geometry, projections, workpiece material and feeding arrangement.

  • Nut and mounting geometry
  • Fastener feeding and positioning
  • Electrodes and interchangeable tooling

Seam welders and electrode wheels

Seam welding equipment produces extended joints using rotating electrode wheels. Provide the wheel dimensions, working profile and installation position when requesting parts.

  • Wheel diameter, width and mounting
  • Current transfer and cooling
  • Finished joint requirements

Butt and flash butt welding

TRINTFAR lists butt and flash butt welding equipment. Clamp and feed assembly enquiries should describe the workpiece section, material and operating position.

  • Identify the joining process
  • Clamping and feed assemblies
  • Workpiece section and length

Suspended welders and welding guns

Gun selection depends on joint access, arm shape and electrode mounting. Provide a working position photograph and identify the transformer when it forms part of the assembly.

  • Arm geometry and reach
  • Actuation and electrode mounting
  • Cables, connections and cooling

Precision and bench welding

The catalogue includes precision and bench type equipment. For small workpieces, provide a detailed joint drawing and explain how the part is held during the cycle.

  • Working area dimensions
  • Small part positioning
  • Cycle control and tooling

Electrodes, conductors and controls

Select service parts against the documentation of the installed machine. List electrodes, holders, flexible conductors, valves and controllers separately with photographs and quantities.

  • Component identification and drawing
  • Connection dimensions
  • Scope of the replacement assembly

Distinguish the resistance welding processes

Spot welding produces local joints, projection welding uses the geometry of raised contact areas, and seam welding moves electrode wheels along the joint. Describe service parts in relation to the actual process.

A seam welder requires a defined wheel profile; a nut welder needs fastener positioning; a butt welder depends on clamping and feed. Put the process and machine identification at the beginning of the enquiry.

Identify the power source configuration

Medium frequency and capacitor discharge machines use different power source arrangements. The former combines an inverter, transformer and rectification; the DR-3000 stores electrical energy and releases a pulse. Electrical spares require the relevant circuit diagram and assembly labels.

Current, capacitance and power describe different quantities and cannot replace one another in a component specification.

Prepare an engineering enquiry

Start with the outcome you need: restore a resistance welding machine, replace a component, or select equipment for a new workpiece. For an installed machine, provide an overall photograph, its nameplate and close views of the relevant assembly.

For a new project, include a drawing, material, thickness, joint location and planned output. Describe the fixtures, cooling, workpiece handling and inspection equipment already available.

This separates the main machine from supporting equipment and makes quotations with different scopes easier to compare.

Keep the complete manufacturer designation, including suffixes and revision letters, in each enquiry line. State the number of machines and the quantity required for each machine. When an assembly drawing contains several components, attach the drawing and identify the required item.

A photograph beside a scale is useful for initial assessment; a dimensioned drawing is preferable for mating surfaces and installation details.

Select the process around the workpiece

Describe the condition of the part at the welding station, including its coating, joint preparation, access and position in the fixture. Repeatable incoming parts matter for resistance welding. Samples used for a process trial should represent production material, coatings and tolerances.

If one station will handle several products, list each product and identify the priority one. This provides a practical basis for discussing interchangeable tooling and changeovers instead of treating every workpiece as an identical application.

Specify the required cycle together with loading, unloading and inspection activities. A welding unit's operating speed is different from the output of a complete cell.

A simple operation sequence should identify tasks performed by the operator, tasks performed by mechanisms, the inspection point and the destination of the finished part.

Identify replacement components

For electrodes, current carrying components and control units, compare the identification, mounting dimensions, connections and function within the machine. Similar looking components may use different interfaces or revisions.

An electrical assembly enquiry should include photographs of terminals, connectors and labels together with the relevant circuit diagram. For a mechanical assembly, show its mounting, travel, mating components and available space.

Recording connections before removal helps preserve the relationship between the component and the installed equipment.

When requesting a newer revision to replace an older one, retain the old designation and explain the reason for replacement. Include any required interface pieces and documentation in the same discussion.

Components from several machines should remain separate enquiry lines until their identities have been compared; a common machine description alone does not establish an identical configuration.

Check the installation interfaces

Prepare a layout and a description of the utilities available at the installation point. List the electrical supply, cooling arrangement, compressed air and workpiece handling method separately. For a resistance welding machine, allow for operator access, maintenance access and cable or hose routes.

Describe doorway dimensions, building height limitations and lifting facilities. These details help define transport sections and the order in which equipment can be positioned and assembled at the plant.

If existing fixtures will be retained, provide their drawings and photographs in the working position. Selecting a machine without considering its fixture can create avoidable changes to the production area. Connection requirements should be established for the selected configuration.

A neighbouring machine's manual describes existing infrastructure but does not define the requirements of a new machine.

Define the scope and documents

Separate the main equipment, electrodes, current carrying components and control units, fixtures, connected devices and spare items in the enquiry. Give the quantity and purpose of each line. For a maintenance kit, list the included parts or attach the applicable manual section.

The phrase complete set does not identify which accessories must arrive with the machine. A line by line scope supports comparison before ordering and subsequent checks against the packing list.

Request documents for the actual configuration: operating instructions, circuit diagrams, utility requirements, assembly drawings and service parts lists. State the required interface and documentation languages.

For equipment integrated into a production line, include a description of exchanged signals and the interface with adjacent stations. Documentation should support the people who will receive, install, operate and maintain the equipment.

Agree an acceptance method

Define acceptance criteria before finalising the equipment package. For resistance welding, identify the reference workpiece, its material, the method used to inspect the joint and how results will be recorded.

Appearance, leak tightness and finished geometry should be stated as separate requirements where relevant. A demonstration on an easy sample does not replace evaluation on a representative production part.

Acceptance of a replacement assembly starts with its identification, connectors, included items and supporting documents.

At delivery, compare the transport packages with the packing list and record the packaging condition and accessories received. Your internal inventory numbers can appear alongside the manufacturer's designations.

Keeping both references helps purchasing, stores and maintenance teams transfer equipment without losing the technical identity used in the original enquiry.

Plan maintenance stock

Base stock for a resistance welding machine on installed machines and actual consumption. Separate frequently replaced items, spare assemblies and parts intended for one repair. State the number of operating stations, working pattern and stock already held.

For several similar production areas, a table listing the machine, component designation, quantity and installation position makes repeated items easier to identify and keeps different configurations apart.

For a repeat order, provide the previous specification together with current photographs of the removed component. Note any earlier modifications: the original machine documentation may not describe the assembly fitted today.

Order history is a useful starting point, while the present machine configuration determines which version should be selected. This also helps distinguish a complete assembly from an individual service part.

Arrange the equipment supply

Send the TRINTFAR equipment or component list, quantities, drawings and photographs through the enquiry form. For a resistance welding machine, include the delivery destination and packaging requirements.

Heavy mechanical assemblies, optical components and electronic control units need different transport descriptions, so the package contents matter at the enquiry stage. An itemised offer can then be compared with your specification before the supply arrangement is finalised.

If a project has several stages, identify their sequence: spares for an existing station, a trial machine and a later production installation, for example. Keep the technical objective, quantities and documentation associated with each stage.

Describe any customer supplied equipment clearly so that it remains visible in the interface discussion and does not accidentally become part of the requested supply scope.

Availability, price, lead time, documents and compatibility are established for the selected configuration. Official dealership or authorised service status is not claimed. A model specification does not apply automatically to the entire range.
