DMTG identifies the Dalian Machine Tool machine-tool range. The current General Technology Group Dalian Machine Tool enterprise was established in 2019 after reorganisation. Its programme includes lathes, machining centres and automated production lines.

Define the machining project

Start with the part drawing and the operation list. State the material, raw-stock dimensions, finished dimensions, key tolerances, surface requirements and production quantity. For serial manufacturing, include the current cycle and loading arrangement.

These inputs help compare a CNC lathe, vertical machining centre, horizontal machining centre or combined turning and milling route.

List the workholding, cutting tools, coolant arrangements and chip handling needed at the workstation. For a replacement machine, provide the complete designation of the existing equipment and the operations to retain.

For a new cell, a floor layout and neighbouring machine list help define the project scope before individual options are discussed.

Keep the complete model designation

Copy the entire model from the machine nameplate, including letters after the digits. Preserve the manufacturer name shown in the operating documentation and provide a clear nameplate photograph. For a repair enquiry, add the component marking and its position on the assembly drawing.

The family name starts the search; the full version identifies the installed configuration.

The official CKE table gives different spindle noses for CKE6150Z and CKE6150i: D8 and A2-8. Include this distinction in a chuck or spindle-related enquiry. For CDS, retain the B/C suffix. For DL, retain M or MH and describe the tooling configuration used by the machine.

Check working space and fixtures

Evaluate the part together with its fixture rather than using the part dimensions alone. State the installation height, fixture or pallet size, locating arrangement and combined weight.

For turning, include the chuck arrangement, support of long components and any requirement for the stock to pass through the spindle.

Similar table sizes do not establish identical travel. VDLS850 has X/Y/Z travels of 860/510/560 mm, while VDM866H has 820/600/600 mm. The difference affects workpiece and tool placement.

For a horizontal machining centre, provide the arrangement of parts on the pallet and the intended loading sequence.

Specify the spindle and tooling package

For a new machine, describe the operations, workpiece material and intended cutting tools. For a replacement spindle assembly, include its marking, mating arrangement and installed photographs.

Distinguish the mechanical assembly, motor, drive, fastening parts and accessories if they are requested as separate items in the enquiry.

Consider the tooling interface, retention mechanism, coolant supply and rotation measurement together. For a magazine, identify the toolholder type, occupied positions and tool-change mechanism.

For a repeat enquiry, retain the designations from the previously agreed bill of materials and identify which existing components will remain on the machine.

Turrets and live tooling

Distinguish a conventional tool station from a driven tool unit. A turret enquiry should include the component manufacturer, full marking, mounting photograph and electrical or hydraulic diagram.

Separate the turret body, drive, sensors, toolholders and sealing parts, with quantities stated for each requested item.

For DL-M and DL-MH, describe the actual machine configuration. When equipping a new machine, list turning, drilling and milling operations. For repairs, describe the observed fault and diagnostic findings already recorded by your specialist.

This connects the requested component to its mounting, drive arrangement and working interfaces rather than to the family name alone.

Feed axes, ball screws and guideways

For a feed-axis assembly, specify the axis, screw or guideway marking and drawing position. When a sample is available, provide an overall view, mounting sections and interface dimensions.

Separate the screw, nut, support bearings, coupling, drive and protective components in the bill of materials to define the replacement package.

Use the same item structure for repeat orders and highlight changes. If the assembly has already been dismantled, identify retained components and previous replacements. For new equipment, evaluate feed requirements together with moving mass, working space and the planned machining process.

Keep each set of photographs linked to the correct axis and machine version.

Coolant, lubrication and chip handling

Separate pumps, filters, valves, piping and seals in a service enquiry. For each component, include its marking, electrical supply, connection dimensions and schematic position.

State the working fluid and operating conditions recorded in the equipment documentation so the enquiry refers to a defined circuit and application.

When selecting equipment, describe the workpiece material and expected chip form. For an automated cell, include chip-removal requirements and service access. Repair enquiries benefit from connection photographs, flow direction shown on the diagram and a description of the fault.

These details help form a specific component list for the affected auxiliary circuit.

Controls, drives and electrical interfaces

Preserve the manufacturer, model and full code of the control device, drive or motor. Provide photographs of the marking and connectors together with the relevant electrical diagram. State the component function, electrical supply and communication interface.

For a control assembly, list required modules and accessories separately.

Attach the error message and available diagnostic findings to the task description. For new equipment, define control, data exchange and production-system connectivity requirements. For repeat procurement, provide the previously agreed specification.

Complete designations and documented interfaces support checking the selected version and package composition for each item before the enquiry proceeds.

Spare parts for installed equipment

Arrange a repair enquiry by assembly: spindle, feed axis, tooling, electrics, hydraulics and auxiliary circuits. Give each item a component description, quantity and associated photographs.

Preserve its link to the machine model and drawing position so images from different assemblies remain easy to identify.

State whether the task is a failed-component replacement, a maintenance package or a repeat of an agreed order. Add the receiving destination and a technical contact who can clarify dimensions and markings.

This supports a package based on the installed equipment, including accessories required with the principal component, while keeping equipment procurement and spare-parts requirements clearly specified.

Equipment package and workshop integration

List the machine, fixtures, tooling, auxiliary units and required documents as individual items. Add packing, receiving-location and site-preparation requirements.

If automation is included, provide the cell layout, loading and unloading sequence, inspection arrangements and links to adjacent machines so the package follows the intended production route.

Identify equipment already available and the site activities included in your enquiry. For several machines, keep individual technical specifications and a shared list of inter-machine interfaces. Before submitting the package, check complete designations, units and quantities.

A structured specification supports configuration selection and provides a practical basis for checking the supplied equipment against the agreed project.

Availability, pricing, lead time, documentation and compatibility are agreed for the individual enquiry. This page does not establish authorised dealership, authorised service or identical specifications across all versions.
