  • DIN 35 rail or wall mounting
  • LED status indication
  • Level control in applicable versions

PDU display and indication units

PDU displays physical values from level meters and other sensors. Specify the input signal, mounting arrangement, supply and required control outputs. For replacement, include the panel opening dimensions and a photograph of the rear terminal block.

  • Four-digit LED display
  • Up to four relay outputs
  • RS-485 Modbus RTU interface

Connectors, electrodes, fittings and seals

Send the designation and photographs for a DINEL accessory inquiry. The official range includes nuts, flanges, connectors and auxiliary electrodes. Identify the associated instrument and distinguish an accessory requirement from a complete sensor order.

  • M12 connectors for DLS, CPS and CLS
  • M8 connectors for GPLS
  • PDE electrode for DLS-27 and CLS-23
  • Mounting fittings and seals

Start with the complete designation

A product family identifies the measuring principle, but it does not describe every mechanical and electrical detail. Send the entire nameplate designation, an overview photograph and the relevant specification. Keep suffixes and electrode length with the original code.

For an accessory request, identify the associated instrument and the individual part. A connector, mounting nut, electronic module and complete level meter should be separate items. This makes the required scope visible before an equipment proposal is prepared.

Describe the medium and operating cycle

For liquids, identify the substance, temperature and pressure. For mixtures, provide the available composition information. For powders or bulk solids, state the material and the actual filling conditions. Include deposits, foam or adhesion where these affect the existing measurement.

Describe normal production, startup and cleaning separately. A tank may be washed, steamed or filled with another product between operating cycles. These conditions belong in the requirement together with the steady operating point and the proposed installation position.

Check mounting geometry before selection

For contact measurement, supply the electrode length, wall clearances and connection drawing. Show the tank height and the position of the sensing element. Indicate whether it is installed in liquid, powder or the filling zone of a hopper.

For a non-contact meter, show the nozzle, surface and internal obstructions. A simple sketch of agitators, ladders and cross members helps describe the measurement path. Replacement inquiries should also show the available space at the actual mounting point.

Match the output to the measurement task

Continuous measurement provides a changing process value, while a limit sensor detects a defined switching point. State the required duty and the receiving controller input. A matching process connection alone does not identify the electrical function of the instrument.

Attach the terminal diagram, supply details and output requirement. For HART, Modbus or IO-Link, describe the existing communication channel and configuration method. Include the equipment connected at the other end of the signal path and the interface expected by the control system.

Define replacement and supply scope

Explain why the instrument is being replaced: mechanical damage, unstable readings, signal loss or a changed process. Add photographs and a short symptom description. This helps distinguish an accessory requirement from the selection of an instrument using a different measuring principle.

For a repeat order, retain the previous complete code and specification. For a different variant, list the changed electrode, connection, signal or medium separately. Include the existing mounting hardware and wiring that the new arrangement is expected to use.

Provide the relevant instrument documents

Attach a datasheet, drawing or specification for the required variant. A family brochure is useful for identifying a product range, while the complete designation determines the detailed construction. Include the document revision and the corresponding position in the project.

State the documents and marking information required by your organization. If the instrument operates in a designated hazardous area, provide the area classification and project requirements. These details are reviewed together with the specific instrument variant and its intended application.

Send a structured equipment inquiry

Provide a list of instruments and accessories, the quantity for each item and the delivery destination. For every row, include a complete designation or an application description. Use clear attachment names and associate each drawing with the item it describes.

For priority replacement items, identify the affected measurement point and the equipment already installed. Keep technical information complete even when the request is urgent. A nameplate photograph is a useful starting point, followed by the wiring and mounting details.

Our calculation history includes a CLM-36NT-12-M-I E1850 capacitive level meter in a commercial proposal. That record does not confirm a shipment. For a similar request, supply the designation and requirements of your own installation so the variant can be reviewed.

Availability, price, lead time, documents and compatibility are checked for the individual order. This page does not establish official dealer status, certified servicing or identical specifications across every variant in a product family.
