HAWE

Equipment sourcing for HAWE

We source hydraulic power units, pumps and valve banks for HAWE applications. Share the circuit, operating cycle and interfaces to define a package around your machine.

R and RG radial piston pumps

The manufacturer describes R as a radial piston pump using valve-controlled pump elements. Specify the full code, outlet arrangement and drive requirements when enquiring about a pump or a hydraulic power unit.

  • Radial piston design.
  • Multiple pressure outlets are possible.
  • Individual pump or part of a power unit.

V60N axial piston pumps

V60N is an axial piston pump for open circuits in mobile hydraulics, operating on the swash plate principle. Define the machine drive, required flow and controller version before choosing the configuration.

  • Open hydraulic circuit.
  • Swash plate principle.
  • Controller version must be specified.

PSL and PSV proportional valve banks

HAWE distinguishes PSL for constant pump systems from PSV for variable pump systems. An enquiry should identify the complete bank, section functions and the hydraulic circuit used by the machine.

  • PSL for constant pump systems.
  • PSV for variable pump systems.
  • Match sections against the bank schematic.

EDL directional valve banks

EDL allows individual adjustment of consumer flow rates. HAWE provides for combination with PSL and PSV in size 2. Define each section function and flow requirement as part of the bank specification.

  • Individual consumer flow adjustment.
  • Combination with PSL/PSV size 2.
  • Specify the function of each section.

HK and HKF compact power packs

HK and HKF compact power packs incorporate an oil immersed motor. HKF uses a separate fan motor. Define the operating cycle, electrical supply and valve-bank arrangement when specifying the complete unit.

  • Oil immersed electric motor.
  • HKF has a separate fan drive.
  • Valve banks can be directly mounted.

BVZP valve banks

BVZP banks connect to hydraulic power packs through suitable adapter plates. Specify the connection block, section arrangement and circuit functions together with the power unit to define the assembly.

  • Different connection-block versions.
  • With or without a pressure-limiting valve.
  • Use the appropriate adapter plates.

Define the hydraulic package around the machine

HAWE Hydraulik manufactures hydraulic components and systems. A package enquiry starts with the machine functions, hydraulic schematic and scope of supply. State whether you need a power unit with a valve bank, a pump for an existing machine, or a module to expand the circuit.

This gives the component list a clear purpose and makes the resulting quotation easier to check.

List the items that will remain with the customer, including the tank, motor, piping, control cabinet and connection hardware. Provide the available interface drawings. Mark unfinished design decisions explicitly.

Component sourcing does not replace the final engineering review of the machine by the person responsible for its design.

Describe pressure, flow and the operating sequence

Specify the pressure and flow required in each operating mode and identify consumers that run simultaneously. Include starting, load holding and stopping in the description.

If a hydraulic calculation is available, send it with the circuit so that each requested component can be considered in the context of the complete system.

Do not apply a family limit to every possible configuration. Use the data for the actual version under consideration and distinguish continuous operation from short peaks.

When repeating an installed unit, send its complete designation and describe any changes to the load or operating sequence since it was installed.

Specify the pump drive and controller

For V60N or another pump assembly, include the drive information, mounting drawing and controller designation. A stationary unit also requires the motor supply and control requirements. For mobile machinery, identify the mechanical drive source and any restrictions imposed by the installation space.

Photographs support the drawings but do not replace the required dimensions.

Separate a pump enquiry from a complete power-unit enquiry. A pump with defined connections has a different scope from a station that includes a tank, motor and valve bank. The proposed package should list the agreed items clearly so your engineer can compare them against the project specification.

Build the valve-bank specification section by section

For PSL, PSV or EDL, provide the bank schematic and a function list for each section. Identify the pump system, required flows and actuation method. Extending an existing bank requires its complete designation and connection-block information.

For BVZP, describe the intended connection to the power pack as part of the same enquiry.

State which elements are required separately and which are to form an assembly. Show section order and the associated consumers. If the machine function is changing, include the revised requirements.

Repeating an old code may not address a new circuit, so proposed changes need review before the order is placed.

Give the duty cycle and installation conditions

For an HK or HKF power pack, describe run periods, pauses and the sequence of consumer operation. Include ambient conditions, space restrictions and maintenance access.

A photograph of the installation location helps explain how the hydraulic connections and electrical plugs will be reached once the unit is fitted.

When replacing a station, provide the installed designation and the required future operating conditions. List the existing components that will remain in service.

Any requirement for additional cooling, filtration or control equipment belongs in the project review and the agreed scope, rather than being assumed from a photograph or a short family name.

Agree electrical and machine interfaces

Send the electrical drawing, supply information and the markings of connected solenoids, amplifiers or controllers. State whether the existing cabinet will be retained.

A complete package needs clear responsibility for connection, setting and commissioning so that the equipment list does not leave important interfaces to assumption.

Command signals, connectors and execution versions should be checked against the applicable documents. A similar hydraulic designation does not establish electrical compatibility.

When a replacement version is proposed, your engineer should receive the differences for review together with the rest of the package definition.

Prepare the documents for technical agreement

Combine the schematic, parts list, nameplate photographs and mounting drawings in one enquiry. For each line, state the full code, quantity, function and parent assembly. Mark missing information as unknown.

This makes it possible to agree the necessary questions without turning an estimate into an order requirement.

For existing machinery, use documents for its latest accepted modification. For a new system, provide the current project revision. Compare the proposed configuration with that revision before approval and record agreed changes in the specification.

Retain the resulting document set for later replacement and repeat procurement.

Arrange the project supply and shipment

Send the equipment list, destination country and city, receiving organisation and preferred shipment arrangement. For several assemblies, say whether consolidated shipment is required or separate lots are acceptable.

Packaging, the dispatch list and required shipment documents are addressed as part of the project agreement.

After the technical questions have been resolved, the quotation identifies the agreed scope. The customer checks it against the application and confirms the selected configuration. Installation and commissioning are carried out by responsible specialists using the equipment documentation.

Use the separate parts enquiry option when the task concerns an individual replacement component.
