Source ASCO Numatics valves and pneumatic assemblies for a process application or an existing machine. Send the identification, operating conditions and connection drawing to start selection.
Select an application or assembly
ASCO and Numatics names appear on industrial equipment and in machine documentation. Preserve the actual identification of the installed assembly: the brand, series, part number and electrical configuration provide different pieces of information.
ASCO 210 / 8210 solenoid valves
The 210 family, also identified as 8210, covers two-way solenoid valves for fluids, air and inert gases. Start the enquiry with the full body code and a separate photograph of the coil label.
Record the medium, its temperature, inlet and outlet pressure, connection type and the required unpowered position. For an existing installation, include a photograph showing the flow arrow and adjacent pipework. Specify whether you need a complete valve, an electrical coil or a service kit.
Describe any intermittent failure and the operating conditions under which it occurs. These details allow the quotation to distinguish the installed configuration from another valve with a similar appearance.
ASCO 327 pilot valves
Series 327 is listed in the ASCO catalogue as a high-flow, direct-acting three-way valve family. For a pilot circuit, attach the pneumatic drawing and identify the purpose of each connection. State the electrical supply, required return behaviour and the medium being controlled.
Cabinet applications also benefit from installation dimensions and a photograph of cable access. Keep every prefix and suffix when transcribing the valve and coil codes. For a repair enquiry, identify the relevant item on the assembly drawing.
When requesting several units, confirm whether all machines use the same electrical configuration rather than assuming that matching bodies mean identical assemblies.
ASCO 551 / 8551 spool valves
ASCO 551, also known as 8551, is a compact spool-valve family for air and inert gases. The product range includes different switching arrangements, body materials and connections. An actuator replacement enquiry should include the complete assembly, mounting face and readable pneumatic symbol.
State the number of ports, return arrangement and manual-override requirements. If the installation uses NAMUR mounting, send the interface dimensions and actuator identification. List the coil, connector, mounting seals and complete distributor separately where required.
Explain whether the existing tubing and cable-entry positions must remain unchanged so that the proposed configuration can be checked against the available space.
ASCO 353 pulse valves
Series 353 serves pulse-cleaning applications in dust collectors. The enquiry should connect the valve identification with its actual connection arrangement and internal service components. Send photographs of the cover and connections together with the filter-unit model.
Separate requests for a diaphragm, pilot, coil and complete valve. Photographs of both sides of a removed diaphragm and its dimensions are useful supporting information. For a manifold with several valves, list each installed code.
Describe continuous leakage, a missing pulse or irregular operation, and provide manifold pressure and control-signal details. This supports document matching; the installation specialist remains responsible for determining the repair procedure.
ASCO 290 / 8290 angle-body valves
The ASCO 290 / 8290 range uses angle-body valves with pressure-operated actuators. Bronze and stainless-steel versions and optional position-monitoring features are described by the manufacturer. Specify the flow passage, connection, flow direction and pilot-air pressure.
Include the actuator label because body and actuator configurations must be considered together. Identify any position sensor and its connection. For seals, provide the medium, temperature, duty pattern and assembly reference.
A complete replacement also requires installation dimensions, particularly actuator height. Note any positioner or stroke limiter so that these components are explicitly addressed in the quotation.
Numatics valve islands and G3 systems
Emerson currently documents G3 as an AVENTICS electronic fieldbus platform for pneumatic valve systems. An installed Numatics assembly should still be identified from its own labels. Photograph the full island, network module and each section requiring replacement.
State the communication protocol, valve positions and power-zone arrangement. A module list or electrical drawing is useful for checking the assembly. Distinguish a single valve, an electronic module and a complete island in the enquiry.
For expansion, identify reserved positions and the additional signals needed. Record G3 separately from the valve-series designation: the network-platform name does not identify every pneumatic section.
Air preparation and legacy NLC units
For discontinued NLC air-preparation units, the manufacturer identifies AVENTICS 652 and 653 as replacement directions. Treat this as a starting point for assembly review. Send photographs of the filter, regulator, lubricator and additional valves.
Specify the connection thread, regulation range, filtration requirement and condensate-drain arrangement. List bowls, filter elements and brackets separately if only service components are required.
A change of series needs dimensions and port-layout information, together with machine air-quality requirements and bowl-service clearance. Describe separate line sections individually when their operating needs differ, even if their pipe connections have the same nominal size.
Coils, connectors and service kits
Start an ASCO Numatics spare-parts enquiry with the identification of the assembly containing the component. Coils, connectors and mechanical service items have different references. For a coil, record voltage, AC or DC supply, frequency where applicable and connector identification.
Photograph the label before removal. For diaphragms and seals, add the complete valve code, component photograph and service-manual item number. If the label is worn, send several views and any available machine documentation.
Dimensions support the search, while the assembly reference remains the preferred basis. List quantities per item and separate scheduled-maintenance needs from emergency spares.
Explain the valve function in the process: flow isolation, actuator control, pulse cleaning or distribution of compressed air between machine functions. Provide the medium, fluid temperature, operating-pressure range and required flow. Include a pneumatic or process drawing identifying every connection. Electrical selection needs the supply voltage, current type and control signal; a networked island also needs the communication protocol and module arrangement. State installation dimensions, environmental conditions and service-access requirements. Identify parameters that are mandatory and those that may change when comparing alternatives. Where a machine has several operating modes, describe the conditions for each mode. Include the desired behaviour when electrical power or pilot air is lost. This information allows the enquiry to describe a complete configuration rather than a series name alone. Keep the project drawing revision with the enquiry so that later clarification refers to the same design.
Service components for an existing production line
Prepare an item list for each machine. Preserve the complete part number, including letter prefixes, punctuation and suffixes, and attach readable photographs of the valve, coil and any network module. Internal components are easier to identify with a service manual, assembly drawing and item reference. State quantity and unit of measure for each line, and distinguish planned maintenance from emergency reserve. If your list comes from an older document, include a photograph of the assembly actually installed today. For a complete replacement, identify components that must stay in place, such as brackets, tubing, cables, connectors and adjacent modules. Record installation and electrical differences whenever another series is being considered. If a label is damaged, provide several views and available machine documentation. Do not combine similar-looking components into one item until their markings have been checked. A clear item list also helps distinguish individual service parts from kits containing multiple components.
Build a defined supply scope
Send the requested items and supporting files using the equipment or parts form. We review identification and application details before preparing a quotation with the equipment scope, quantities and delivery arrangements. Official-dealer status, stock availability and compatibility are not asserted without supporting confirmation; price, lead time and required documents are determined for the enquiry. Before ordering, agree the part numbers, configuration and delivery address. A valve-island request should list included modules, while a service-kit request should identify its contents. State whether several items must travel together or whether separate shipments may be considered. Include packaging, labelling and receiving requirements where the destination has a defined acceptance procedure.
