Ampace batteries and energy storage

Cells, battery packs and energy-storage systems. Select the configuration by load, voltage and the equipment it will serve.

Product families

Choose the application, then identify the family and exact model. The cards distinguish published product characteristics from the information needed for selection. For new equipment, send a specification; for replacement, send the installed product marking. Preserve the full designation and required package contents. For multiple positions, retain separate lines and quantities rather than combining products with similar names.

JP25, JP30, JP40 and JP50 cells

The JP range separates cylindrical sizes and capacities: JP25 is 18650 / 2.5 Ah, JP30 18650 / 3.0 Ah, JP40 21700 / 4.0 Ah and JP50 21700 / 5.0 Ah. These figures identify product variants; selecting a replacement also requires the complete cell marking and the requirements of the finished pack.

Provide nominal voltage, the load profile, charging conditions and the construction of the existing battery. A capacity comparison alone cannot establish pack suitability.

State whether the inquiry concerns cells for an engineered assembly or a complete replacement battery, and include the equipment and pack designations rather than only the cylindrical size.

EP65, SP25 and E30P

EP65 is listed as a 21700 cell with 6.4 Ah and 3.6 V, while SP25 is 21700 with 2.45 Ah and 3.2 V. E30P is listed at 29.5 Ah with dimensions of 35.2 × 208 mm. The different voltages and formats are material selection inputs, even when products share a brand.

Include the complete code, series and parallel arrangement, BMS requirements and charging system in the inquiry. For replacement in an existing product, supply the original specification and pack label.

Identify which values are mandatory and whether a redesign is permitted before considering an alternative cell or assembly.

PU100 and PU200 for data centres

For the stated twelve-module configuration, PU100 provides 63.8 kWh and 329 kW, while PU200 provides 56.5 kWh and 462 kW. The AIDC solution also identifies a plug-in, replaceable BMS. These values belong to the specified configuration and should not be applied to an arbitrary number of modules.

Define the UPS model, DC bus, module count and required backup duty. For maintenance, add the installed system designation and BMS version.

Separate an individual module inquiry from a complete cabinet or system request, and identify the interfaces and supporting equipment already present at the site.

UniC AG440 industrial storage

UniC AG440 has a published energy capacity of 440 kWh. The product distinguishes integrated inverter options of 220 or 110 kW from external inverter arrangements of 184 or 92 kW. Ethernet and RS485 are listed, with IP55 enclosure protection.

Start by choosing the required arrangement rather than mixing the power ratings of different versions. Provide the load profile, requested energy, grid or off-grid operation and connection requirements. For an expansion, include the existing inverter and control system.

A parts inquiry should name the installed AG440 configuration and the marked component; the complete cabinet designation does not identify every internal replacement item.

UniC DG500 battery cabinet

UniC DG500 is a modular cabinet with a published capacity of 532.4 kWh, 750 V and 1500 V bus versions, air cooling and Modbus TCP communication. Specify the actual voltage version and system architecture before requesting a cabinet or module.

For replacement, provide the module code, cabinet label and communication requirements. For a new project, identify the external power conversion and control equipment that will be used with the battery cabinet. Energy capacity, DC bus voltage and communication are separate requirements.

List the desired quantity and whether the project involves one cabinet, several coordinated cabinets or maintenance of an installed system.

UniC AG300-150 all-in-one system

UniC AG300-150 combines 301.5 kWh of energy with 150 kW power. Its published nominal grid voltage is 400 V, with liquid cooling and Modbus RTU / TCP communication. Describe the site load profile, connection capacity and operating objective before defining the configuration.

For an existing installation, include the system label and control arrangement. Keep the cooling method specific to this product rather than transferring a general statement from another Ampace range.

A maintenance list should distinguish a complete battery module from an identified control or cooling component, with the relevant marking and drawing position supplied for each requested item.

PR-L, PR-A and SP-5000L

The residential storage direction includes PR-L for flexible energy configurations, PR-A for new systems and retrofit applications, and SP-5000L for low-voltage storage.

The family name is a starting point for selection; the inverter, operating voltage, required capacity and communication protocol still need to be identified. For adding storage to an existing installation, provide the inverter model and current battery arrangement.

For replacement, include the complete battery label and interfaces. State whether the request covers a single battery, an expansion set or a complete coordinated package, and identify the existing components that will remain in service.

Batteries for tools and mobile equipment

Ampace identifies applications in power tools, cleaning equipment, robots, micromobility and drones. Selection must refer to the actual end product and battery configuration rather than the application category alone.

Provide the machine model, battery code, voltage, capacity and photographs of the label and connector. If the requirement concerns an engineered pack, include electrical and mechanical interface requirements and the charging arrangement.

Keep a complete replacement battery request separate from a request for individual cells. For several machines, list each battery designation and quantity independently so that similar housings do not obscure differences between electrical versions.

Selecting the battery within the equipment

For an existing machine, start with the finished battery code, voltage, capacity, dimensions and connections. Attach the full label, connector and mounting-space photographs, charger designation and available drawing.

A new engineered assembly also requires the load profile, series and parallel arrangement, BMS requirements and enclosure constraints. Separate normal and peak duty, cycle duration and charging conditions. Keep cells intended for pack development distinct from a complete replacement battery order.

For a fleet, use a separate line for each battery code and machine quantity. A matching outer housing does not establish matching electrical and control interfaces, and higher capacity by itself does not determine the suitability of a replacement.

Storage-project inputs

Separate energy in kWh from power in kW in a storage inquiry. Provide the load profile, required operating duration, connection voltage, available space and existing inverter or UPS. For several cabinets, describe the proposed system architecture and control arrangement.

A module replacement begins with the installed cabinet and module markings, not the total energy of the site. Add communication requirements, controller version where available and required documents. Identify what belongs in the supply and what is already installed.

Installation, configuration, expansion and supply of a single battery component are distinct scopes. The destination and package list help define logistics, with transport requirements based on the specific finished configuration and its documentation.

Information for equipment selection

For a new project, describe whether the task is backup, energy storage, mobile-machine power or a tool battery. Energy and power are different requirements: provide both, together with the intended operating duration. Attach an electrical diagram and the list of existing equipment where available.

Separate batteries, cabinets and external equipment in the requested scope. Expansion of an installed system requires its current configuration and interfaces. Changes to the enclosure, wiring or control system should be stated explicitly.

If several operating modes are required, describe their duration and sequence rather than giving a single average load value.

Parts and package scope

For maintenance, start with the installed pack or module marking. Do not combine different voltages and executions into a single capacity-based item. State quantity, retained components and whether a complete pack is required instead of individual cells.

For a BMS, include its version and the host system details. If the fault has not been identified, a symptom description belongs to diagnosis and does not identify the component to order. The quotation should define the exact items and required documentation.

Preserve the original codes in a multi-item list and separate the requirements of different machines or cabinet versions.

Send the model or specification

Send the complete designation, quantity and destination, together with photographs and available documentation. Identify mandatory characteristics and whether an alternative is acceptable.
