Product families
Choose the product direction by the task, then identify the family and exact execution. A family name starts the search, but quotation requires the actual installation data. The sections below separate principal ranges, service components and inquiry details. For several machines, list them separately with the quantity of each item. Keep a complete unit request distinct from maintenance consumables or an individual replacement component.
ALLHEAT thermal-fluid pumps
ALLHEAT includes NTWH, NIWH, NBWH, CTWH, CIWH and CBWH arrangements for thermal-fluid duties. The range contains 16 and 25 bar executions, with temperature limits that depend on model and fluid. Start with the actual operating point and layout rather than the maximum range values.
Provide the complete pump type, temperature, flow and pressure conditions for selection.
NTWH and CTWH
The detailed ALLHEAT table gives NTWH a 16 bar rating and CTWH 25 bar. Oil temperature is listed as 350 °C, with 400 °C available for CTWH upon request. Water limits differ from oil limits. These are catalog limits, not a simultaneous operating point.
Use the nameplate, serial number and process data to identify the appropriate execution.
Block and inline layouts
NBWH and CBWH are block designs, while NIWH and CIWH are inline arrangements. The selected configuration must preserve the complete size and material code. Include an installation drawing showing the suction and discharge connections, supports and available motor space.
If the existing piping is to remain, state that constraint before comparing a different layout or considering a complete replacement unit.
SNA three-screw pumps
Published SNA limits include flow up to 880 l/min, outlet pressure up to 20 bar, temperature up to 100 °C and viscosity from 5 to 750 mm²/s. These boundaries do not describe one jointly achievable operating point.
Provide the complete type and serial number, the required flow and pressure, and oil properties at the actual operating temperature.
EMTEC coolant pumps
The EMTEC direction includes EMTEC-A and EMTEC-C three-screw pump designs for coolant-related duties. Selection needs emulsion concentration, temperature, operating pressure and filtration information. For an existing installation, add the pump serial number and the equipment model.
A service inquiry should identify the drawing position of the required component, while a new pump inquiry should describe the complete hydraulic requirement.
ALLFUEL fuel and oil duties
ALLFUEL serves marine fuel systems and industrial oil supply. The published AFI table lists up to 112 l/min and up to 40 bar outlet pressure. Seal materials must be checked against the exact fuel and temperature.
Provide the full type, rotational speed and serial number, and identify whether the requirement concerns a pump element, a complete pump or a driven assembly.
Progressing-cavity pumps
Allweiler also offers progressing-cavity pump solutions for varied fluids. OPTIFIX facilitates disassembly and assembly in applicable series. Describe viscosity, inclusions, temperature and medium composition rather than selecting by technology alone.
For a rotor and stator or another service component, include the exact pump designation, serial number and drawing. The appropriate material pairing depends on the process conditions.
Mechanical seals
A seal inquiry should begin with the pump serial number and the seal position in its documentation. For thermal fluids, state the fluid type and both startup and operating temperatures. Identify flushing, barrier-fluid or quench arrangements where fitted.
If a full service set is required, list additional gaskets and O-rings so the quoted package is distinguished from the seal alone.
Bearings and bushes
ALLHEAT uses plain and rolling bearings in a defined arrangement. Identify the drawing position, any readable component marking and dimensions. For an assembled bearing unit, state which covers, bushes and seals should be included.
Photographs of the affected area and observations of play or noise can support the inquiry, but they do not by themselves establish the cause of the fault.
Impellers and shafts
Start with the serial number and assembly drawing, then mark the required position and material from the parts specification. If an impeller has been trimmed, include its actual diameter and the intended operating point.
State whether the order concerns a single component, a rotor assembly or a hydraulic section. Similar nominal pump size does not establish an identical internal configuration.
Define the duty point
Provide required flow, head and suction pressure, together with fluid temperature, density and viscosity. Add network frequency, rotational speed and the available drive power. A piping diagram or the existing pump datasheet helps distinguish the system requirement from a catalog limit.
Where operating conditions vary, identify the relevant minimum, normal and maximum cases instead of reporting only one preferred value.
Pump identification
Photograph the pump plate separately from the motor plate and preserve every number and letter in the complete designation. Add views of connections and supports. For several apparently identical pumps, list each serial number and the required quantity of service sets.
This allows the inquiry to distinguish separate executions that may share a motor size or look similar in the installation.
Repair scope or complete unit
List damaged positions and attach an inspection report if available. State whether the motor, frame, coupling and piping will be retained, and identify allowed dimensional changes. A complete pump package and a repair kit are different requests with different documentation needs.
Diagnosis and repair can be considered separately; the supplied equipment and service scope should be agreed explicitly.
Pump or driven assembly
For a complete unit, state whether the motor, baseplate, coupling and guard are required. Retained components need their dimensions and interface data. Include support and piping views for vertical or inline installation.
Describe cold startup separately from steady operation because oil viscosity changes with temperature. Repair inquiries benefit from a defect list with drawing positions, distinguishing required replacements from inspection-dependent items.
Do not define kit quantities only by counting similar-looking pumps; first identify each serial number and execution. Agree the final package as an itemized list.
Start with flow, head, suction pressure, temperature, density, viscosity, rotational speed, connection layout and pump serial number. Attach the specification or the existing equipment documentation and identify mandatory characteristics separately from preferences.
If a nameplate and an earlier purchase list differ, provide both rather than combining their codes. For a new installation, describe the process and available utilities; for replacement, state which dimensions and interfaces must remain unchanged.
Indicate normal operation and any distinct starting, peak or cleaning conditions relevant to the equipment. A photograph should show the full label and the connection area, with a separate overall view. Mark the required position on an assembly drawing when several similar components are present.
These inputs allow the requested configuration to be distinguished from neighboring versions before price and supply scope are discussed.
Parts and package scope
For service, retain the complete machine and part designations, drawing position and quantity. Separate mandatory items from optional accessories, and state which installed components will remain in use.
A photograph of an earlier kit label can help, but the package contents must still match the current requirement. When several machines are involved, list their serial numbers and quantities individually instead of assuming one set fits every execution.
Describe any changes made since the original installation. A component quotation, a complete equipment package and diagnosis or repair are different scopes. Identify required documents and packaging before the order, and keep installation or configuration services as separate items.
This makes the final list reviewable and avoids leaving the content of a supposed complete kit undefined.
Send the model or specification
Send the complete designation, quantity and destination, together with photographs and available documentation. Use separate lines for multiple items and preserve every suffix.
