C&D Trojan battery systems and industrial batteries
C&D Trojan (Shanghai) Energy Technologies Co., Ltd., known in Chinese as 西恩迪超骏(上海)能源科技有限公司, manufactures lead-acid batteries under two brands: C&D Technologies stationary batteries for backup and continuous power, and Trojan Battery deep-cycle traction batteries. C&D was founded in 1906 and Trojan in 1925; in 2018 the two brands were merged into one company, since 2022 the company has carried its current name with Trojan battery production in Shanghai, and it operates more than eight plants, three R&D centres and shipments to over 120 countries. Selection starts from the duty: the purpose of the site, voltage and power, autonomy time or cycles per day, and installation conditions. These decide the sealed or flooded version and the series, and the parameters are confirmed against the manufacturer's data sheet.

Reading the designations and what to confirm
C&D designation: series, voltage, index. UPS 12-220 MRX is a 12 V MRX battery, C&D 2-2000HG a 2 V gel cell. MRX, MRXF, PLP and PLM tables give watts per cell at a set discharge time (15 minutes to 1.67 V for MRX, 5 for PLP and PLM), with dimensions, weight and terminals: Faston 250, M5-M8, #10-32 UNF, 1/4-20 UNC.
What to confirm in the request: full nameplate designation and terminals
The duty comes first: backup power for a site, telecom DC, energy storage or traction equipment. Electrical parameters follow, including voltage, discharge power, autonomy time and number of cycles, and then the series and version are chosen. Dimensions, terminal type, room ventilation, temperature and service access are confirmed separately. For traction batteries the battery compartment size and the parameters of the existing charger are added to the list.
Spare parts and consumables
Batteries and accessories are consumable items in service: flooded ranges take the HydroLink single-point watering system, battery racks take links, cables and terminals, and backup power systems take C&D BMS monitoring modules. We handle both single-battery replacement and complete sets for a site.
How to order C&D Trojan equipment and batteries
