GESAC, Xiamen Golden Egret (厦门金鹭), manufactures tungsten materials within Xiamen Tungsten. SpareX handles enquiries for its powders, ready-to-press blends and blanks. This catalogue serves toolmaking, carbide sintering and wear-part production. Finished cutting tools and the materials used to manufacture them are separate order items.
Product catalogue and selection parameters
Tungsten and tungsten carbide powders — Two feed materials for tungsten alloys and cemented carbides. Specify W or WC, size distribution, measurement method, oxygen and impurities; WC also requires total and free carbon limits.
Ready-to-press RTP blends — Blends for pressing and sintering. Specify grade, binder composition, granule distribution, flow, apparent density and required sintered properties. Formulation and process conditions must be matched.
Cast tungsten carbide — A separate powder family for wear-resistant materials. Define size fraction, composition, morphology and metal matrix for your coating process. It is not an automatic substitute for sintering-grade WC.
Chromium carbide — A listed GESAC powder family. Send phase-composition requirements, particle size, oxygen and free-carbon limits. Suitability is checked against the material formulation.
Titanium carbonitride and complex carbides — Powders for hard-material formulations. Specify chemistry, phases, component ratios, fineness and impurities. A family name does not replace a defined grade.
Cobalt powder — Metal binder powder for alloy production. Specify Co purity, fineness, oxygen, apparent density and binder-distribution requirements after sintering.
Solid carbide rods — The catalogue includes ground long and short rods. Toolmaking enquiries need carbide grade, diameter, length, tolerance, machining allowance and surface condition.
Rods and tubular blanks with channels — Listed forms include straight-hole and spiral-channel blanks. Specify hole count, diameter and position, helix angle, outside diameter and length; a drawing is preferred.
Plates, scrapers and custom blanks — The range includes plates and scrapers, semi-machined and precision-machined custom products. Provide a drawing, grade, tolerances and required manufacturing state.
Mining and tunnelling carbides — Inserts and blanks for mining and tunnel-boring tools. Define rock type, impact load, geometry, attachment and wear requirements; selection is drawing-based.
Precision wear parts and rotary burrs — Additional catalogue families. Identify a finished wear part, rotary burr or manufacturing blank. Supply working geometry, dimensions, workpiece material and quantity.
Select for the manufacturing process
For in-house sintering, distinguish WC feed powder, Co binder and an RTP blend with a defined formulation. For grinding drills or end mills, start with rod geometry and coolant-channel requirements. Mining and tunnelling inserts need a drawing, working geometry and load conditions.
How to request pricing and supply
Send the material name, full grade, quantity in kilograms or tonnes and delivery city. For powders, attach chemistry, particle size and measurement method, impurity limits, apparent or tap density and packaging requirements. Blanks need dimensions, tolerances and drawings. For substitution, attach the existing material data sheet: matching names alone do not establish process compatibility.
