Xiamen Tungsten (厦门钨业) operates across the chain from concentrate to powders and cemented carbides. This catalogue covers the group’s upstream material families for sourcing through SpareX. The manufacturing entity and grade are confirmed for each item; subsidiary products are not treated as automatically interchangeable.

Product catalogue and selection parameters

Tungsten concentrate — Feedstock for tungsten compounds and metal. Specify WO₃ assay, impurities, moisture and batch weight. WO₃ assay and elemental W content are different quantities.

Ammonium paratungstate APT — Intermediate feedstock for oxides, powders and other tungsten materials. Purchasing requires chemistry, crystal size, impurity limits and packaging. The grade and manufacturing entity are confirmed per enquiry.

Tungsten oxides — A separate oxide family in the group catalogue. Specify oxide type, assay, oxygen composition and fineness. Powder production, catalysts and ceramics require different process-specific specifications.

Metallic tungsten powder W — For heavy alloys, electrical materials, targets and toolmaking. Specify particle distribution, purity, O/C and apparent density. Confirm whether a metallic feed phase is required for further processing.

Tungsten carbide powder WC — Hard phase for cutting tools and wear parts. Specify particle size, total and free carbon, oxygen, impurities and planned binder. Select the grade together with pressing and sintering conditions.

Cobalt powder Co — Binder material for cemented carbides and diamond tools. Specify purity, particle size, oxygen and apparent density. Binder fraction comes from your formulation, not merely the powder name.

Select for the manufacturing process

Choose by the stage in your process: concentrate for refining, APT for oxides and compounds, oxide for powder production or chemical processing. Cemented-carbide sintering requires a specified WC powder and binder. Metallic W and WC need separate line items. State the measurement method for FSSS or laser D50 values.

How to request pricing and supply

Send the material name, full grade, quantity in kilograms or tonnes and delivery city. For powders, attach chemistry, particle size and measurement method, impurity limits, apparent or tap density and packaging requirements. Blanks need dimensions, tolerances and drawings. For substitution, attach the existing material data sheet: matching names alone do not establish process compatibility.
