JDC Moly, Jinduicheng Molybdenum (金堆城钼业), lists metallurgical feedstock, powders for component production and chemical compounds. Send a grade or technical specification to SpareX. Metallic Mo, MoS₂, MoO₃ and molybdate salts are separated below because their applications and selection criteria differ.
Product catalogue and selection parameters
Molybdenum powder Mo — Feedstock for powder metallurgy and molybdenum blanks. Specify Mo purity, particle size and measurement method, O/C and apparent density. Identify pressing, blending or another intended operation.
Molybdenum disulfide PMD21 — A listed high-purity MoS₂ series. For solid-lubricant or compound formulations, define MoS₂ content, fineness, moisture and impurity limits. Batch data and formulation compatibility are checked before ordering.
Molybdenum disulfide PMD22 — A separate JDC series that must be identified in full. For substitution enquiries, attach the existing material data sheet and particle-distribution requirements. PMD22 is not assumed to share the PMD21 size specification.
High-purity molybdenum trioxide — A chemical product distinct from technical roasted concentrate. Specify MoO₃ content, metallic impurities, particle size and downstream chemical or materials-processing requirements.
Ammonium dimolybdate and tetramolybdate — Two compounds in the chemical range. Identify the exact salt, molybdenum or MoO₃ assay basis, impurity limits and dissolution requirements. Each must match the process specification.
Ammonium hepta-, octa- and dodecamolybdate — All three are listed by JDC. Specify chemical form, assay, impurity limits and formulation requirements. The full compound name avoids ambiguity in an ammonium molybdate enquiry.
Industrial and reagent sodium molybdate — Separate quality categories. Specify salt form, grade, assay, insoluble matter and controlled impurities. Laboratory and industrial-bath requirements are agreed separately.
Molybdenum concentrate — Upstream molybdenum feedstock. An enquiry needs Mo assay, impurities, moisture, size fraction and batch mass. Distinguish gross concentrate weight from contained metal quantity.
Roasted molybdenum concentrate: powder and briquettes — Two forms of metallurgical molybdenum addition. Specify Mo assay, S/P/Cu and other melt-dependent limits, and briquette size or powder fraction. Match feed form to the equipment and process.
Ferromolybdenum — Ferroalloy for steel alloying. Specify grade, Mo content, C, Si, P, S and Cu limits, lump distribution and quantity. Confirm the grade and analysis before ordering.
Molybdenum stock and targets — Beyond powders, JDC lists wire, sputtering targets and other molybdenum products. Stock enquiries need dimensions and condition; finished parts need drawings, tolerances and surface requirements.
Select for the manufacturing process
For a lubricant formulation, start with MoS₂ PMD21/PMD22; for sintering, use a metallic Mo powder specification; for steelmaking, consider ferromolybdenum or roasted concentrate. Chemical processes need the exact salt and product form. Do not transfer purity, particle-size or application data between grades without the relevant data sheet.
How to request pricing and supply
Send the material name, full grade, quantity in kilograms or tonnes and delivery city. For powders, attach chemistry, particle size and measurement method, impurity limits, apparent or tap density and packaging requirements. Blanks need dimensions, tolerances and drawings. For substitution, attach the existing material data sheet: matching names alone do not establish process compatibility.
