RS485 TO ETH (B)
This device combines RS485 and Ethernet for industrial data collection. Documented applications include serial-server and Modbus-gateway functions. Transparent transfer and protocol conversion require different configuration.

PoE variant
RS485 TO POE ETH (B) is a separate hardware version with Ethernet power and electrical isolation. These features must not be assumed for the standard version.

Integration
Specify instruments, protocol, serial settings, polling requirements and the monitoring system. Check power, mounting and installation conditions. Preserve existing configuration before replacement.
