Moxa

Moxa provides industrial networking and device-connectivity equipment. Its product families include EDS Ethernet switches, NPort serial device servers, UPort USB-to-serial converters and MGate protocol gateways. Describe the connection task and provide exact models and quantities.

Moxa Ethernet switches
EDS-205 is an unmanaged industrial switch with five 10/100BaseT(X) ports. EDS-205A and EDS-208A are separate series. Identify port count, speed, media and installation requirements. Preserve suffixes and check the exact power and environmental specification.

NPort serial connectivity
The NPort 5100 family includes 5110, 5130 and 5150 models. Specify the serial interface, connected device and operating requirements. An Ethernet connector does not establish support for arbitrary industrial protocol conversion.

UPort and MGate
UPort 1150 is a USB-to-serial converter. Include interface and computer operating-system requirements. MGate products, including MB3180/MB3280/MB3480, are protocol gateways; identify both sides of the required protocol connection. These product categories should not be substituted based only on connector appearance.
