Mixtron: Italian dosing pumps for industrial applications

Mixtron S.r.l. (Italy) is a manufacturer of proportional volumetric dosing pumps and high-pressure pump units for industrial applications. MX series equipment is used in metalworking for coolant dosing on CNC machines, in water treatment systems, the agro-industrial sector, and car washes. A key advantage is water-driven pumps with no electrical power supply, offering dosing accuracy of ±5% and repeatability of ±3%.

Mixtron maintenance

For scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs, proper selection of seals based on the media type is critical: Viton (VX) for coolants and aggressive chemicals, EPDM for alkaline aqueous solutions. Internal springs and fasteners are made of AISI 316 stainless steel.

Water-driven design with no electricity. MX series pumps operate solely on water pressure (0.3–8 bar) with no electrical connection, eliminating an entire class of failures and reducing installation infrastructure requirements.

Wide performance range. The line covers flow rates from 750 to 13,000 l/h within a single design platform — from the compact MX.075 to the industrial MX.1300.P055.B, allowing a solution to be matched to any production volume.

Specialized series for metalworking. The MXO series is designed for dosing metalworking fluids on CNC machines and grinders: the housing is resistant to oils and emulsions, and Viton Extreme (VX) seals handle aggressive media with pH 1–7.

Dosing accuracy and repeatability. Accuracy of ±5% and repeatability of ±3% are standard across the entire line, which is critical when preparing emulsions at strictly specified concentrations.
