WeMa Probst WPSS & MSM Industrial Peeling Machines
The WeMa Probst WPSS 200 peeling machine handles timber diameters from 4 to 20 cm at feed rates up to 14 m/min. The unit features a 600 mm peeling disc with a quick cassette knife system. The MSM 70 debarks utility poles. We supply knife cassettes, blades, motors, and feed wheels.

WeMa Probst PSM Small Timber Profiling Sawmills
WeMa Probst sawmill lines process small logs from 10 to 25 cm into pallet boards and beams, producing up to 120 m³ per shift. The plant integrates a KSA cross-cut saw, an RHM II-H rounding unit, and a 4-spindle PSM profiling mill. We supply circular saw blades, saw arbors, guides, and gearboxes.

WeMa Probst AKV & SFK Roundwood End-Processing Machines
WeMa Probst AKV and SFK machines provide pointing, chamfering, and cross-cutting of round posts up to 16 cm diameter. The WPS 17 peeling disc executes four-sided pointing, while the SPS saw splits round logs. We supply conical cutter heads, chamfering blades, saw blades, and stop mechanisms.

WeMa Probst RHM series rod rounding machines (RHM I-H and RHM II-H) process crooked and tapered small timber from 4 to 40 cm into perfectly cylindrical logs with smooth surfaces.
The dual-head configuration of the RHM II-H distributes stock removal between roughing and finishing stages, eliminating surface tear-out and spindle vibration. Electronic feed control automatically adjusts log transit speeds from 6 to 34 m/min depending on log diameter.
Rotary debarking and quick knife cassette exchange on WPSS peelers
In the WeMa Probst WPSS 200 high-speed debarker, peeling is performed by a 600 mm diameter convex cutter disc with hydraulic pressure control. The modular cassette system allows knife setting and calibration outside the machine using precision gauges, reducing maintenance downtime.
Top and bottom feed rollers with independent hydraulic drives and light barrier sensors ensure stable log centering across diverse softwood and hardwood species.
Small log profiling and multi-blade breakdown on WeMa Probst PSM lines
WeMa Probst sawmilling lines combine pre-rounding of raw logs with subsequent multi-spindle ripping in the PSM profiling unit.
Centering logs along the geometric axis and removing bark prior to sawing delivers superior yields of square-edged pallet boards and construction lumber up to 120 m³ per shift. Eliminating bark on sawn faces significantly extends the edge life of circular saw blades.
