Read the complete San Ace fan code

Begin with a clear photograph of the installed fan label. Preserve every letter and digit in the model code and any additional identification printed beside it. Photograph the housing, direction arrows and cable exit. Identify the equipment in which the fan is fitted.

The San Ace name or an outside dimension does not establish a particular version. If several fans look alike, compare their labels before combining the quantities. When a label is damaged, the equipment manufacturer's spare parts list can provide another reference.

Define the cooling duty and operating point

Describe overheating before selecting a replacement

Record the symptom: no rotation, a monitoring alarm or rising equipment temperature. Describe the load condition and filter state. Include checks already performed instead of assuming that a particular part has failed.

When retaining the airflow path, establish whether equipment layout or operating conditions have changed. Identify an exact spare request separately from a cooling improvement project. Selecting a fan with a higher isolated rating does not establish suitability of the complete assembly.
