Chart CSC equipment and components
SpareX accepts enquiries for equipment and replacement assemblies within the Chart CSC service scope. Start with the system duty, equipment identification and required package.
Cryogenic transport trailer assemblies
CSC lists turnkey service and maintenance for cryogenic transport trailers. For a replacement assembly enquiry, attach the vessel identification plate and a photograph showing its position in the process system.
- CSC scope: cryogenic transport maintenance
- Enquiry: vessel manufacturer and serial number
- Separate close-up of component identification
- Required quantity and assembly scope
ISO container and tank components
ISO containers and tanks are included in the CSC service scope. Keep vessel data separate from the identification of installed equipment because the records describe different items.
- ISO containers and tanks within the CSC scope
- Enquiry: the identification plate of the vessel
- Drawing and component position in the parts list
- Connection and installation photographs
Vacuum systems and flowmeters
CSC technical support lists vacuum leak detection and repair, vacuum pump repairs and flowmeter calibration. Identify the instrument, the requested task and any available diagnostic records in the enquiry.
- CSC scope includes vacuum leak detection
- Vacuum pump repairs are listed by CSC
- Flowmeter calibration is listed by CSC
- Enquiry: model and description of symptoms
Herose safety valves
The CSC profile lists repairs, adjustments and resetting of Herose safety valves. To enquire about a valve or a component, provide its identification and the requirements recorded in the equipment documentation.
- Herose is named as a CSC service partner
- Valve repair and adjustment in the CSC profile
- Enquiry: valve code and identification plate
- Service conditions from the vessel documents
SEFCO pumps and replacement assemblies
CSC lists repair and service of SEFCO AG pumps. A component enquiry should include the pump model, serial number and the part position on its assembly drawing.
- SEFCO AG is named as a CSC service partner
- Pump repairs are within the CSC scope
- Enquiry: nameplate and pump serial number
- Component position in the pump documentation
Piping and workshop requirements
The CSC workshop lists pipe repairs and modifications, sheet metalwork, preventative maintenance, ADR inspections and tank flushing. An equipment package enquiry needs a diagram defining the relevant system section.
- CSC lists piping repairs and modifications
- Preventative maintenance and ADR inspections
- Tank flushing in the CSC workshop scope
- Enquiry: system diagram and package boundaries
Identify the equipment and the requested item
Start with an overall system photograph and a readable identification plate for the device being replaced. State whether the enquiry concerns a transport trailer, an ISO container, a stationary tank or an LNG station. Then identify the pump, flowmeter or valve.
This separates the identity of the installation from that of a component mounted on it.
When a parts list is available, attach the relevant page with the surrounding item references. Preserve the complete code, including suffixes. Label photographs when several components look alike.
A single enquiry can cover several positions if each line has its own identification and required quantity.
Prepare information for a repair-related enquiry
For equipment already assessed by your maintenance team, include the reported fault, the conditions in which it appears and the checks already performed. Keep observed behaviour separate from a proposed diagnosis.
Record an instrument reading and operating condition first, then add the maintenance specialist’s interpretation. Attach a previous service report when your organisation has one.
Define what is being purchased: a complete pump, an assembly, an instrument or a set of components. State which items remain on the installation.
Clear package boundaries help compare quotations for the same scope, particularly when one option includes a drive and another covers only the pump assembly.
Specify the actual application conditions
Provide the process medium, temperature and pressure from the documents for the actual installation. Add the operating duty, ambient conditions and available mounting space. These details are inputs for reviewing the required execution.
A connection size alone does not define the complete application requirements.
For instruments, identify the measured quantity, the displayed result and the devices connected to the instrument. For a valve, include the setting information recorded in its documentation.
Have your responsible specialist define the application requirements for safety equipment or a modified system. Name the person who can answer technical questions during the selection process.
Describe the piping package boundaries
Attach a diagram showing the inlet, outlet, branches and equipment that will remain in use. Include an overall arrangement and close-up photographs of the connections. If the system has been modified, use the current arrangement rather than a superseded drawing.
The trailer name alone does not identify its present piping configuration.
List the separate items and specify which positions are required as an assembled package. Separate the main assembly, connection components and associated accessories in the enquiry. Use dimensions from a drawing or attach a measured sketch with clear reference points.
Installation decisions belong in the project documentation reviewed by the responsible specialist.
Prepare a SEFCO pump component enquiry
Photograph the complete pump nameplate and its connection to the drive. Copy the model and serial number in full. For a component request, add the designation in the manual or the item position in an assembly drawing.
Distinguish the complete unit designation from the code of the individual item being purchased.
State whether the requirement is for a complete pump or a replacement assembly, and attach the required bill of materials. Identify the installed drive and the components being retained.
The CSC profile establishes its work with SEFCO pumps; the execution required for an individual order comes from the documentation of the equipment concerned.
Prepare a Herose valve enquiry
Photograph the body marking, identification plate and connection surfaces. Preserve the execution code and the setting information available in the equipment passport. When requesting an individual component, attach the assembly drawing and mark its position.
Use separate enquiry lines for different valves and quantities.
For a replacement assessment, list the parameters that must be retained and attach the responsible engineer’s requirements. Specify whether the scope is a complete valve or individual components. The CSC profile describes the centre’s service activities.
The scope of a SpareX proposal follows the submitted project requirements and the agreed purchase specification.
Define equipment completeness and acceptance
For an equipment purchase, describe the intended result and the supply boundary. List what should accompany the main assembly and what is already available at the operating site. Include project requirements for package marking, the packing list and receipt inspection.
A clear list helps receiving staff match each delivered item to the order.
Useful acceptance points include model identification, connection execution, assembly completeness and packaging condition. Attach the approved specification for a line-by-line comparison. Agree which characteristics are checked against documents and which require inspection or testing.
These requirements form part of the particular purchase and should be recorded with its technical specification.
Submit the enquiry and compare the proposal
Choose the relevant equipment card and add your own description. For several positions, attach a table of identifications and quantities together with photographs and relevant manual pages.
Provide the contact of a specialist who can answer compatibility questions and specify the delivery destination.
When reviewing a proposal, compare every line with the original enquiry. Check the manufacturer, designation, quantity, assembly scope and packaging requirements. Report any change in operating conditions before approving the equipment package.
For repeat purchases, keep the approved list and record changes for the next batch so that a familiar description does not hide a different execution.
