Pump equipment for Trillium Flow Technologies applications
Define a pump package by duty point, process conditions and the documentation for the installed equipment.
Overhung pumps
The manufacturer lists overhung pumps as a distinct category. Define the required pump or replacement component by its actual model, serial number and drawing reference before comparing equipment packages.
- Catalogue category: Overhung
- Provide the pump nameplate
- Specify the required duty point
- Define the drive and package scope
Between-bearings pumps
The manufacturer describes several sizes and stage combinations. For a replacement pump, retain the existing configuration and identify connections, installation dimensions and operating requirements separately.
- Category: Between Bearings
- Sizes and stage combinations vary
- Identify suction and discharge layout
- Provide the existing assembly drawing
Vertical turbine pumps
The manufacturer links available sizes and stages to NPSH requirements. A project enquiry should include liquid levels, the proposed installation and the required arrangement of the pump and drive.
- Catalogue category: Vertical
- Sizes and stages address NPSH
- Provide minimum operating liquid level
- Define installation and drive layout
High-pressure pumps
High Pressure is a separate category in the pump catalogue. Define the actual operating point and construction before requesting a complete pump, rotating assembly or seal-related equipment.
- Catalogue category: High Pressure
- State flow and head with units
- Provide operating speed
- Define pump and seal-system boundaries
Solids-handling pumps
The catalogue includes Solids Handling pumps. Describe the liquid and suspended material when defining the equipment package or a wet-end replacement. Add wear photographs for an existing installation.
- Category: Solids Handling
- Describe the liquid and solids
- Provide particle and process information
- Attach wear photographs if available
Self-priming pumps
Self Priming is included among the listed pump types. Explain the suction arrangement and starting conditions when requesting equipment. Identify the installed unit before specifying replacement components.
- Category: Self Priming
- Describe suction-line arrangement
- State the intended starting conditions
- Identify equipment and accessories
Identify the actual pump brand
Trillium Flow Technologies is a group name associated with several pump businesses and lifecycle support. Its pump catalogue separately identifies Gabbioneta Pumps, Termomeccanica Pompe, Floway, Begemann, Roto-Jet, WEMCO and WSP.
Preserve the actual brand on the equipment nameplate when preparing an enquiry.
Provide the model, serial number and drawing reference together. A group name helps establish context but does not define a particular construction. Keep equipment from different brands on separate lines and associate each document with its corresponding unit.
Similar duties do not establish that components have the same dimensions or fit.
Define the operating duty
State the required flow, head, liquid, temperature and speed, with units for every numerical value. Include the available suction information and the operating range rather than only one nominal point.
If an existing installation has changed, attach the previous data sheet and describe the new requirements separately.
For a replacement project, explain whether the goal is to retain the existing connections, improve the operating arrangement or replace the package completely. A catalogue category helps direct the enquiry.
The final configuration still needs to be tied to the actual duty and installation documents supplied for review.
Specify installation and interfaces
Attach a general arrangement drawing showing the pump, driver, foundation and connections. Identify the equipment that will remain in service and the items that need replacement. For vertical pumps, include the installation arrangement and liquid-level information that is available for the project.
List restrictions on overall dimensions, access and maintenance space. Provide connection details from the drawing, without replacing them with a photograph alone. If the existing arrangement is being changed, keep the proposed layout distinct from the current one.
This gives the enquiry a clear physical scope before equipment and accessories are selected.
Choose the package boundary
A pump enquiry can cover a bare pump, a rotating assembly or a larger package. Specify whether the driver, base, coupling, guard, instruments and auxiliary systems are included. Identify which equipment is supplied by the purchaser and which interfaces require coordination.
Use one equipment list to keep the package consistent through review. A change to the drive or installation can affect the requested scope even when the pump name remains the same. Record additions and exclusions against the latest document revision.
SpareX prepares the selection around that defined package and the information supplied for the project.
Provide usable source documents
A clear nameplate image and an assembly drawing are useful starting points for an installed pump. Add the data sheet, required quantity and drawing item number for each component. Preserve suffixes and revision marks when copying equipment codes.
A shortened description can lose the connection to a specific assembly.
When several units are involved, name the files by unit and identify the corresponding lines in the equipment list. Keep uncertain characters visible in the photographs instead of reconstructing them.
Additional measurements can support review, while the existing equipment identity remains the main link to its documentation.
Plan replacements and upgrades separately
Trillium describes engineering support for equipment redesign and upgrades, together with programmes for managing critical component inventories. An enquiry should distinguish a replacement part from a change to the pump arrangement.
State the intended result and the components that are expected to remain in use.
For an existing failure, attach available inspection findings and photographs. For an upgrade, provide the previous duty and the proposed operating conditions. Keep a maintenance spare list separate from the equipment package where their quantities or acceptance requirements differ.
This helps keep a project enquiry consistent with the work that is actually planned.
Handle historic valve and actuator names
In June 2026, Trillium announced the sale of selected valve businesses to Flowserve and its French valve operations to Framatome. Historic group labels therefore need to be checked against the actual valve, actuator or turbine identity.
These transferred directions are handled separately from the pump categories.
For such an installed asset, provide the specific brand, model, serial number and documentation. Preserve a separate actuator designation where one exists. An earlier purchasing record may help connect the documents, but the installed equipment nameplate remains essential.
Independent brands are not treated as interchangeable equipment simply because they once appeared in the same group catalogue.
Set document and acceptance requirements
List the documents and checks that the project needs with the equipment specification. Identify required drawings, data sheets, inspection records and the purchaser's acceptance procedure. Describe any requirement for review before dispatch, including the intended witness or document-review steps.
Keep these requirements attached to the relevant equipment line so that a package is assessed consistently. If a requirement changes, supply the revised specification rather than a separate unlinked note.
The enquiry can then distinguish equipment selection, project documentation and acceptance scope. Requirements are reviewed against the defined item and are stated in the resulting quotation.
Define export packing and destination
Provide the receiving country, city and intended delivery location. Add restrictions on package dimensions, lifting arrangements and handling for the equipment concerned. If the project requires separate deliveries to different sites, identify those destinations in the equipment list.
The packing and shipping scope should follow the agreed equipment package. State whether accessories and loose components are to be identified individually and include purchaser reference numbers when needed. SpareX reviews the request around the specified destination and project requirements.
The resulting proposal keeps the equipment, packing and delivery scope connected to the same revision of the enquiry.
Send an equipment enquiry
Start with the duty point, actual equipment brand and requested package scope. Attach the available nameplate image, drawing and specification, then provide a contact for technical clarification. Explain whether the project concerns a replacement, additional capacity or a maintenance spare package.
The equipment and spare-parts actions lead to their respective request fields. A selected category supplies context, and the purchaser can add project details without losing that topic. Keep long equipment lists in an attached file and summarise the main requirement in the form.
This gives the selection request a traceable connection to the installation and its documentation.
