A platform for the city or retail task
NEXCOM IPS covers computing platforms, touch computers, Edge AI, embedded boards and displays for city and retail applications. Start with the operating scenario: an information kiosk, checkout terminal, menu screen, interactive panel or local data processing.
State who uses the device, which application runs and how it connects to the rest of the site. This identifies the hardware group before individual models are compared.
For a new installation, provide the terminal layout and peripheral list. For an existing system, include the complete computer, screen and board designations, software versions and installation photos. Separate a complete-device enquiry from replacement or expansion.
Connect each component to its role: display, touch input, application processing, external device connection or data analysis. This allows the proposed configuration to be assessed against the actual operating scenario.
Computer mounting and installation conditions
Select a kiosk or retail computer together with its enclosure and maintenance arrangement. Provide available width, height and depth, plus the mounting hole positions. Show how the service door opens, where cables run and how technicians reach the connectors.
A desktop installation benefits from an overall workstation photograph; an embedded installation needs a cabinet drawing showing the surrounding devices.
State the power source, operating schedule, installation temperature and ventilation conditions. When a computer sits behind a display, mark the clear space around it and the heat removal path.
Assess NDiS B117/B338/B340, NDiS B561/B562 and Neu-X/Neu-E/Neu-XE against the exact model and configuration. Keep the existing power supply, connector and connected loads in one table for comparison with the terminal construction.
Touch computer or separate display
Define how processing and display functions are arranged at the workstation. The enquiry may concern an XPPC, SPPC, HPPC or OPPC computer with a screen, or a separate XPPD display and external computer.
State the application interface size, user position, resolution, screen orientation and mounting method. A panel photograph with measurements helps relate a replacement to the existing opening.
XPPD 16-CQ10 has a 15.6″ diagonal, 1920×1080 resolution, 450-nit brightness and PCAP with ten touch points. The manufacturer lists VESA, panel and open frame mounting and IP66 for the front side. These values describe that model. Specify video, touch, power and mounting connections separately.
For replacement, include front and rear photographs, the screen marking and the cable arrangement back to the computer.
Application, peripherals and interfaces
Describe the terminal software environment: application name, version, operating system and connected devices. For retail, list the scanners, printers, readers, cash modules and other peripherals actually used. For an information screen, state the content format and update process.
For an interactive application, describe the input method and screen count. These details help define the required interface and component configuration.
Draw the connections, identifying each cable and its length. State occupied interfaces, peripheral power, network connection and devices located outside the terminal. Give the visual workflow and application environment for an NDiS V1000/V1100 configuration.
For a group of terminals, retain the differences between locations, including the screen, peripherals, enclosure or application version. Each difference should have a clear position in the equipment specification.
Edge AI and graphics configuration
For Edge AI, define the task and its input: images, video streams, sensor events or another data source. State the application, computing package, data size and processing time required by the project. A workflow example identifies concurrent activities.
Consider memory, storage and graphics together with the application and installation arrangement.
AIEdge-X310 uses Intel Core 12th–14th generation and a platform for discrete NVIDIA graphics. Its documentation lists two DDR5 SO-DIMM positions supporting up to 64 GB, PCIe 4.0 x16, an 850 W power supply and a 0…45 °C operating range. State the exact graphics card and agreed component list.
Assess AIBooster as its own configuration. Check an AI equipment set by running the agreed application task on prepared data.
Expand NDiS B562 with DockInfinity
DockInfinity-R16F is specified for NDiS B562. First record the installed computer designation, then identify the expansion card required. Provide its model, dimensions, purpose, interface and power requirements. Include the installation drawing and a photograph of the available expansion space.
This relates the module to the computer and the intended card.
The manufacturer lists PCIe 4.0 x16 and a card power limit of 75 W for DockInfinity-R16F. Itemise the B562 computer, module and card separately, with quantities. For maintenance of an existing set, include markings and connection photos for every element.
After installation, check card detection, application functions and the physical arrangement, including cables and the position of devices within the terminal enclosure.
X boards and installed computer replacement
An embedded board enquiry starts with the complete marking and revision. For X100–X314, X300, X302 or X304-MTX, provide photographs of both sides, mounting dimensions and occupied connector designations. State the processor configuration, memory, storage and power arrangement.
Describe the display, touch and peripheral cables separately. For a complete computer replacement, list the components that will transfer from the old installation.
Retain the terminal application, driver and configuration details when replacing a panel or computer. Explain the reason: a fault, software change, new display, increased processing load or maintenance spare.
Check replacement through normal user actions, including application startup, display, input and peripheral operation. The component list identifies the proposed replacement, while the application check evaluates its effect on the working terminal.
Specify and check the terminal set
List the model, quantity and purpose of each element. Give the computer, display, touch panel, memory, storage, expansion hardware and cables a clear place in the layout. For multiple sites, add the terminal reference and configuration differences.
Keep the original designation beside an agreed spare part replacement. For a new installation, include the mounting drawing and user workflow.
On receipt, compare markings, dimensions, connectors and supplied components with the list. Then check startup, content loading, touch input, peripheral interaction and network connection using the operating scenario.
Use the agreed data for AI tasks and the intended application and screens for display tasks. Record results for the individual devices and the assembled system to support acceptance and later maintenance.
Availability, price, lead time, documentation and compatibility are confirmed for each enquiry. Official dealership and authorised service are not claimed. A graphics card is not automatically included with AIEdge-X310 and is specified separately.
Legacy models marked EOL are considered for replacement assessment; internal spare parts require a verified designation.
